Chapter 1170: 108 Dimensions

“There are still two pieces of Sky Seal Jade Plates!” Junior Brother Qin exclaimed while everyone present had a puzzled look on their faces.

What were the Sky Seal Jade Plates? They were priceless treasures that had nearly caused a fight to break out between them a while ago, when there had been insufficient pieces.

Who would have thought that, even after distributing a piece to each person, there would still be two extras?

The others, who already felt deep respect for Luo Yunyang, now seemed to revere him more than ever.

Especially Zhen Rulai, who had understood that Luo Yunyang had already improved his status so much that he simply couldn’t be overlooked.

He also felt that Luo Yunyang’s place in the hearts of the others was already higher than anybody else’s.

If Luo Yunyang were to coagulate his Dao Energy there, an extraordinary existence would appear in the Taixu Sect.

“Junior Brother Luo, it is about time. Why don’t we head to the Boundless Sky Palace?” Zhen Rulai asked solemnly.

In the past, he used to make decisions on his own for all major matters. However, right now, he felt as though he had to take into account Luo Yunyang’s opinion.

Of course, this was naturally based on the strength Luo Yunyang had shown.

Luo Yunyang did not have any interest in fighting with Zhen Rulai over the leadership of the people of the Taixu Sect. What he wanted most was to acquire the best resources and have the strength to fight off the entity capable of destroying entire eras when he returned to his own realm.

While Luo Yunyang’s loot now might seem fairly significant, he did not seem content with it, except for the ring he couldn’t really see through.

While the pieces of fragmented sky laws were strong, they could at most allow him to master one layer of the sky laws.

There were nine layers of sky laws in the lands founded by the Sacred Venerate!

The Sacred Venerate not only had full control of the nine sky laws, but also had the ability to combine them into one. Although Luo Yunyang could not simply compare the strength of the era-destroying entity who was bringing about the apocalypse with the strength of the Sacred Venerate, he knew that this being was a formidable opponent.

That entity would definitely control more than one sky law.

Otherwise, countless experienced and battle-hardened martialists would not have lost their lives during the previous apocalypses.

While Luo Yunyang might have already settled down nicely in the Vast Sky Sacred Realm, he knew that he would have to return eventually. There were people he cared about in the 36 Great Cosmoses, and he also had to return because of his Chaotic Four-Origin Beast Clone Embodiment.

Leaving behind his Chaotic Four-Origin Beast Clone Embodiment would mean that he was giving up about half of his current strength.

“Senior Brother, I will follow your lead,” Luo Yunyang replied without engaging further in this discussion.

There were many possible meanings behind this reply. Zhen Rulai studied the serious expression on Luo Yunyang’s face before heaving a sigh of relief.

He had been worried that Luo Yunyang would not agree with his arrangements and would instead try to take away his right to lead just to show his disagreement.

However, Luo Yunyang’s tactful response allowed Zhen Rulai to lower his guard. “Since Disciple Luo has no opinion on this, let us make our way there.”

As soon as he said that, Zhen Rulai soared into the air and headed in the direction of the Boundless Sky Palace.

The Boundless Sky Palace was about 100,000 miles away from Luo Yunyang and the rest. In the Vast Sky Sacred Realm, someone with the abilities of Zhen Rulai could easily cover that distance in just an instant.

However, making use of any instantaneous teleportation techniques in Boundless Taixu was tantamount to suicide. After all, space worked in a different way over there and it was hard to quantify the spatial and boundary requirements for making such a trip. Hence, even top-grade Taichu Yuan Venerates would not dare to take such a risk.

In just 15 minutes, the Boundless Sky Palace had already appeared before Luo Yunyang and the others.

Although Luo Yunyang had learned a lot about the Boundless Sky Palace during his time in the repository of the Taixu Sect, he was still amazed when he finally got the chance to see it with his own eyes.

“The Boundless Sky Palace is split into a total of 108 dimensions! You can even say that the current Boundless Sky Palace you are looking at is not a single block but a total of 108 blocks,” Zhen Rulai told Luo Yunyang.

“According to my mentor, the Boundless Sky Palace used to be a single block when the Sacred Venerate defeated the enemies. However, over the course of the battle and due to the usage of various major powers, the Boundless Sky Palace was fragmented and split into various different dimensions.”

Zhen Rulai, who was explaining the situation of the Boundless Sky Palace to Luo Yunyang, did not really understand it himself either.

The explanation he gave Luo Yunyang was basically a regurgitation of whatever his mentor had told him.

Luo Yunyang stared at the Boundless Sky Palace, which seemed to have countless overlapping images. From the looks of it, it seemed as though these Boundless Sky Palaces were able to each exist on their own. However, there seemed to be something that bound them all together.

The looming, solemn gates of the Boundless Sky Palace stood at 1,000 meters tall without any engravings or inscriptions on them.

From the looks of it, the Boundless Sky Palace did not resemble a mansion. It looked more like a massive city with extensive walls.

People were beginning to gather on the public square outside the Boundless Sky Palace. This group of people was led by a well-built, strict-looking young man. Another man amongst them seemed to be complaining loudly.

The sound of his voice was loud and filled with agitation. However, the most obvious thing about him was the big bump on top of his head.

“Nineteenth Prince, the Dakongfan Sect will get to the bottom of this. The person who tried to sneak an attack from behind will pay the price!” the well-built young man said with firm resolution.

Zhen Rulai glared at the young man angrily. Senior Brother Li and the others were also glaring at him.

“Long time no see, Yuan Venerate Kongjing!” Zhen Rulai enunciated each word slowly.

“Oh, it is Brother Zhen. Looks like you acquired a Sky Seal Jade Plate. I wonder which unlucky Junior Brother ended up giving up their chance for you,” Yuan Venerate Kongjing said when he saw Zhen Rulai and the others.

“Junior Brother, if you are willing to step forward and identify yourself, I promise to bestow unto you a gift from the Boundless Sky Palace,” Yuan Venerate Kongjing said with a smile.

These words would definitely have thrown Zhen Rulai into a state of panic if everyone present hadn’t already owned a Sky Seal Jade Plate. However, Zhen Rulai remained composed and even grinned now.

“You… What is this?” the Nineteenth Prince asked as he noticed the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow Luo Yunyang was holding.

Although he did not have much of a recollection of the object that had hit him before he’d fainted, he now had a faint memory of it upon looking at the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow.

“You! You are the one who launched a sneak attack on me!” the Nineteenth Prince shouted furiously.

As the Nineteenth Prince of the Sacred Emperor Palace, he had always had a lofty attitude around everyone. However, he had just been assaulted unknowingly by a rod in Boundless Taixu.

What had been stolen from him wasn’t important. He had failed to get rid of the bump on his head, which seemed as though it was still growing.

How was he supposed to lift his head high in the future if this carried on?

“Dear Junior Brother, would you please care to explain yourself?” Yuan Venerate Kongjing glared at Luo Yunyang.

Although the sky laws were not present at that point in time, Yuan Venerate Kongjing still behaved as though he was the law.

Zhen Rulai would definitely have stepped in if Yuan Venerate Kongzhi had behaved in this manner around the other disciples. However, since it was Luo Yunyang he was treating this way, he decided to just stand back and enjoy the good show.

While he was uncertain of Luo Yunyang’s capabilities, judging from the way he had been able to seize the Sky Seal Jade Plates, Zhen Rulai was certain that Luo Yunyang was too far off from his own level of strength here.

“Are you asking about this? This is the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow! The reason I struck you was because your head was uneven. I was just trying to help you out. Please do not misunderstand!” Luo Yunyang grinned.

The Nineteenth Prince was infuriated. He had vowed to make the perpetrator pay for everything he had done once he woke up from his blackout.

However, he felt uneasy while looking at the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow Luo Yunyang was holding. He could not simply step forward and launch an attack.

“Senior Brother Kongjing, you must redress this injustice!” A familiar voice pleaded from afar.

There was a surprised look on Yuan Venerate Kongjing’s face when he heard that familiar voice. The voice belonged to a junior brother from the Dakongfan Sect that he was close to.

That Junior Brother had begun looking for opportunities the moment he’d acquired the Sky Seal Jade Plates. Based on his estimations, he should have been there 15 minutes ago.

However, his Junior Brother had never arrived, and Yuan Venerate Kongjing had not had the time to search for him either, as he had been busy engaging with the Nineteenth Prince.

He finally understood what his Junior Brother was pleading for upon seeing the bump on his head. His gaze once again returned to Luo Yunyang.

“Senior Brother, my Sky Seal Jade Plate has been stolen!” the Junior Brother said as he noticed the similar bump on top of the Nineteenth Prince’s head.

“You… Have you been attacked as well?”

The Nineteenth Prince immediately looked relieved. He had been really worried about being embarrassed, as he’d looked like the only one who had been attacked.

“Senior Brother Kongjing, my Sky Seal Jade Plate has been stolen as well. There is definitely a thief amongst us. You have to get to the bottom of this!” yet another person pleaded.

Kongjing felt his blood boiling as he saw a bump on the head of yet another Junior Brother.

“Senior Brother Kongjing, it was Luo Yunyang who stole my Sky Seal Jade Plate. You have to be wary of this person!” shouted yet another man in the crowd as Kongjing turned to face Luo Yunyang.
