Luo Yunyang was tempering a small banner just outside Hong Meng Sacred Hall. The banner had a terrorizing aura around it even though it had just begun to take shape.
It was the Sky-Breaking Banner!
The strongest treasure was needed to kill the Origin Intent. Thus, Luo Yunyang had thrown in all the treasures he had on hand just to refine this banner.
The pole used to make the banner came from Luo Yunyang’s Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow!
Luo Yunyang was slightly reluctant to use the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow to refine the Sky-Breaking Banner, as the bow was the strongest treasure he currently possessed.
The Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow had helped him a great deal previously when he had been in the Vast Sky Sacred Realm. Even at his current cultivation level, Luo Yunyang was still unable to unleash the strongest potential of the bow.
That was because the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow had massive power and Luo Yunyang hoped that he could eventually use this treasure independently.
However, he had exhausted numerous resources, such as the six different types of precious metals, in the process of tempering the pole of the Sky-Breaking Banner to no avail.
With no other way out, he made the painful decision to use the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow as the pole of the Sky-Breaking Banner!
The Great Extinguishing Hell Portrait was used as the flag of the Sky-Breaking Banner!
While such a one-of-a-kind treasure was in no way inferior to the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow, Luo Yunyang still felt that it was the most suitable item to use as the flag of this treasure.
Luo Yunyang felt just as reluctant for each of the various resources which would be inscribed on the flag.
He slowly made adjustments to the details of the inscriptions on the flag as each valuable treasure was destroyed. Some of the treasures even contained the foundations of certain sky nomological laws.
Over the course of many years, Luo Yunyang had acquired a number of valuable treasures. However, tempering this Sky-Breaking Banner cost him heavily in terms of all these acquired treasures.
Just as the Sky-Breaking Banner was about to take shape, Luo Yunyang felt terrorizing energy being emitted from it.
In terms of sky laws, the ones the Sky-Breaking Banner had were similar to the ones the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow had. They both had six.
However, they were different in the sense that even though the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow had massive potential, Luo Yunyang was unable to wield it to its fullest potential despite being able to use it.
The Sky-Breaking Banner was different!
The Sky-Breaking Banner had been tempered by Luo Yunyang from scratch. Therefore, he would be able to unleash most of its might even though it was using the Six-Dragon Sun Striking Bow as its pole.
It could be said that the Sky-Breaking Banner was a treasure that would be extremely appealing to anybody!
A thought flashed through Luo Yunyang’s mind just as the Sky-Breaking Banner was about to take shape. If this treasure was so strong, then why had Yuan Sage Jinlao imparted this law to him instead of tempering it on his own?
Even though there were rules set in place by the Taixu Sect, Luo Yunyang still felt slightly uncomfortable.
These feelings seemed groundless no matter how much he continued to reason. However, as the tempering process was nearly completed, Luo Yunyang began to feel even more that something seemed to be amiss.
He just was not sure what seemed to be the problem.
“Yuan Zi is seeking an audience with you!” A message appeared in his head as he was about to fully concentrate on the tempering process.
He felt that Yuan Zi was the most talented amongst all the other returnees. Other than him, it seemed like only Yuan Zi was capable of competing on equal grounds with the Human Race’s Divine Ancestor.
Furthermore, Yuan Zi was an extremely discerning person who never imposed inconveniences on the people around him. Hence, it was very easy to get along with him. From his perspective, Luo Yunyang favored Yuan Zi greatly.
The last mission given to Yuan Zi was to annihilate the Star Sky Race. Just before he had set off, Luo Yunyang had given him yet another separate mission.
Thinking that he had succeeded, Luo Yunyang created a clone embodiment that then headed out of the enclosed hall.
“My respects, Your Majesty!” Yuan Zi said respectfully, even though he knew that the person approaching him was merely a clone of Luo Yunyang.
“Let’s dispense with the formalities. What good news are you bringing me this time, Brother Yuan?” Luo Yunyang replied while waving his sleeve.
“I would like to report that I have completed the mission given to me, Your Majesty. This is the Galactic Star Beast I have captured for your inspection,” Yuan Zi said as he presented an object which resembled a birdcage.

The birdcage was small in size but was reinforced by 36 gold struts that made it look extremely difficult to pry open.
The birdcage alone seemed like an exceptional treasure, but what truly attracted Luo Yunyang’s attention was the Galactic Star Beast confined within the cage.
The Galactic Star Beast was a colossal beast that could easily devour a planet in a single mouthful. However, the Galactic Sky-Beast presented to him right now appeared to be no larger than the size of a palm.
The current Galactic Star Beast even looked cute despite continuing to howl in rage in an attempt to bite Luo Yunyang.
Indeed, it was extremely cute, completely unlike the ruler of the Star Sky Race.
Roar! Roar! Roar!
The beast, which initially only appeared threatening, lunged forward with increased intensity upon seeing Luo Yunyang. However, its actions were almost non-threatening given that its strength had now been reduced to that of a small bird trapped within a cage.
“The cultivation base of this Galactic Star Beast is at the peak of the Taichu Yuan Venerate. Without your insight, I would not have been able to handle it.” Yuan Zi chuckled while watching the angry Galactic Star Beast.
“The ruler of the Star Sky Race should have become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate some time ago, but it’s a pity that half of its abilities were destroyed by me back when it was trying to help the Supreme Incarcerate Ruler sneak an attack against the humans.”
“That is why he could not become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate even though the other half of his body had received all the energy of the Star Sky Race. Furthermore, give your current breakthrough, he would be no match for you even if he were to become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate.”
Even though Yuan Zi had not yet become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate, everything he had accumulated over the years was sufficient to bring him near the peak.
As long as he wanted to, he could become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate at any time. To many people, becoming a Taiyi Yuan Venerate was an important milestone of their journey. However, this milestone did not mean much to Yuan Zi.
His only aim was to achieve success when the conditions were correct.
“Thank you for your kind words, Your Honor, but it is still hard for me to hold a candle to you,” he replied. He did not say this because he wanted to compete against Luo Yunyang but because these words came from the bottom of his heart.
Although he did not know what kind of training opportunities Luo Yunyang had, he knew very well the difference in standards between the two of them.
Right now, not only had the gulf between him and Luo Yunyang not been reduced, but it had actually gotten wider.
From his point of view, it seemed as though this difference would continue to increase.
“Brother Yuan, do not be too hard on yourself. The aptitude you have is amongst the greatest even amongst the Human Race. If you were to become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate this time around, I am sure you would instantly become a Xiantian Taiyi.”
“We are already more than halfway through the process of refining this treasure. After this, you’ll have to seize the opportunity to become a Taiyi Yuan Venerate when we take action.”
“Please rest assured, Human Ruler. I will definitely not disappoint you,” Yuan Zi replied.
Luo Yunyang wanted to use his Chaotic Four-Origin Beast clone to swallow the remaining half of the Galactic Beast so that he could upgrade the beast into something better.
According to his deduction, as long as the Chaotic Four-Origin Beast could evolve, it would not be too difficult for it to eventually ascend to the Taiyi Yuan Venerate.
In fact, it could almost ascend immediately.
Even though Yuan Zi appeared normal, it did not seem as though he wanted to leave. This made Luo Yunyang feel that perhaps there was something else he wanted to say.
“Yuan Zi, is there anything else?” Luo Yunyang asked, as he had deduced that there was more to it from his expression. “I have always treated you as a friend, but you aren’t treating me as one by humming and hawing.”
“Your Honor, this is related to Feng Feifei. Many years ago, her aptitude wasn’t any inferior to mine. Unfortunately, she did not receive guidance in the correct direction and she wasted a lot of effort. As a result, she hasn’t been able to ascend to the Taiyi Yuan Venerate.”
“Now that the Ancient Six Families have already been vanquished, I hope that Your Majesty can give Feifei some pointers.” A huge weight seemed to be taken off Yuan Zi’s mind when he said this.
“I know something about Feng Feifei’s cultivation techniques. It should not be too difficult for her to attain the Taiyi Yuan Venerate if she follows my instructions and trains,” Luo Yunyang replied after a brief pause.
A ball of light appeared in his hands and eventually transformed into a white jade seal.
“Inside this, you will find Feng Feifei’s cultivation path. You just have to bring this to her.”
Luo Yunyang gently shook his head while watching Yuan Zi leave. He then picked up the birdcage that held the Galactic Star Beast. However, after he strolled for a bit, a thought suddenly appeared in his mind and surprised him.
He pictured himself rushing out of Hong Meng Sacred Hall, only to see the looming dark sky and bloody rain falling everywhere. Even the bouts of thunder that came with this rain were blood-red.
Blood-red rain, blood-red thunder, and blood-red wind!
This scene was not limited to Hong Meng Sacred Hall. It also extended to the 36 Great Cosmoses of the Human Race.
Even Tianding Realm, which had been established by the Human Race’s Divine Ancestor, was engulfed by this boundless blood-red scene.
“Is the sky crying?” Luo Yunyang asked expressionlessly as he looked at the scene. He knew that this was happening because the Origin Intent of the realm had finally reacted to the Sky-Breaking Banner, which was nearly completed.
Even though the Origin Intent of the realm seemed to collapse, he continued to survive. In the face of this impending calamity, Luo Yunyang had another thought.
He was not too bothered by these visions, but he was now more concerned about making the Chaotic Four-Origin Beast a Taiyi Yuan Venerate.
