“AHHH!”
A man screamed as Joonbum closed in, but Joonbum quickly stabbed a dagger into his chest. Joonbum threw him down on the ground and jumped in front. His daggers moved quickly through the screaming men and he sliced open their legs, joints, and critical points. The place was filled with blood.
High Priest Brix, Henderson, and Gordon all watched it unfold in shock.
‘M-monster!’
Everyone in the room thought of the same thing. The blood-covered monster was after their lives.
“Block him!”
“Save me!”
One of the priests ran toward the door of the room. As he opened the door, his thought that he had been saved, but it was not. His body fell as an axe was thrown, crushing his skull from the back.
“No one will leave this room alive. You all will die here.”
Everyone shivered as they heard the blood-covered Joonbum speaking threateningly.
“If you want to live, you’ll have to kill me.”
Joonbum looked to Henderson, who was pulling out his sword.
“Who- who are you! We are the Paladins of Horun! How dare you attack our holy ceremony!” Henderson screamed as he shivered in fear. Joonbum smirked.
“Joonbum.”
“Huh?”
“What? What are you…”
Joonbum scoffed.
“This hair? It’s dye. You’ve all been fooled.”
“How is this possible? The plan was perfect!”
Henderson was shocked that he had been tracked down. Joonbum grinned.

“Wh-why are you here? Our plan was perfect! It was God’s plan! We… man! Kill him! He’s alone!” Henderson shouted. All men looked at Joonbum.
“He-he’s alone! We can kill him if we all fight him at once!”
“We must kill him if we want to survive!”
“Anyone who kills him will be considered a saint!”
People began to circle around Joonbum.
“Haha! Idiots, you think you will win?”
Jinpok walked into the room. People looked behind Jinpok, fearing the worst.
“We have three. Not one.”
Many were confused since Jinpok walked in alone, but they were relieved that there were no more reinforcements. They only had three. They were outnumbered.
“Idiots, you think you can handle all three of us?”
“KILL THEM!”
Men charged at Joonbum and Jinpok. They swung their daggers, but their hands were crushed as Jinpok swung his axe carelessly. A man fell down, screaming in agony, but the other men did not care. They charged at Jinpok without giving him time. Then, Joonbum swung his dagger at the man, slicing open a deep wound. These men however, did not seem to slow down. They were mad.
“Look at them, they’re mad! Mad dogs deserve to get beaten.”
Jinpok smirked and threw his axe, crushing the head of the man that charged at him. Blood and brain matter splattered onto the people that followed and they stopped in fear.
“What? Come on, you can’t get scared by that! Come, I’ll show you what true hell looks like! Pray to your God if you want to live! I’ll show you how stupid it is!”
Jinpok charged at the men. He was so vulnerable that a trained paladin was able to thrust his dagger into Jinpok’s body. He grinned as he twisted the dagger into the body, but Jinpok pulled his head back and smashed it against the man’s face. His nose and mouth were destroyed.
“Ugh…! ARGH!”
Blood and broken teeth fell from the man’s mouth as he moaned.
“Idiot, how dare you stick your puny blade into my body?” Jinpok spoke, patting his belly and chest. The blood on his forehead dripped down his face. He was like a devil himself.
Joonbum also attacked those around him. He quickly sliced the throat of a young man close to him. The man could not respond quickly enough and fell down on his knees, in complete disbelief that he was dying. Joonbum then moved onto others, killing people mercilessly.
