1. The enemy must be in knockdown or is falling in order to continue a combo that can be extended. You can make an enemy be in the air while doing a combo in order for this function to work even if it is less optimal. Doing a sweep and if it hits successfully actually makes the opponent be in knockdown, this is why Atleus uses sweep when he starts to do combos.

2. Clashing weapons makes it so that the combo system of the world is cancelled and you can't cancel your attacks to do a blockstring.

3. Whiffing is fine, but you need to hit in order for you to actually do a blockstring or a combo.

4. A combo can't last forever as combo prorations exist, it is however fine for a combo to end one's life if the one who is doing the combo is strong enough.

I then turned to my left and used Angel and to block his attacks before getting hit behind as I can't block that…

"Kuugh… nya…"

Quickly standing up, I glanced at where my enemies are… tch, they're surrounding me. Hmm, I don't really know which magic I should use for this situation… ah right.

I made an invisible wall using mana and used it to block an attack, but it was broken soon after as it was hit by a thrown dagger… oh, that's a plus then.

I dashed towards the person who I blocked with the wall and grabbed him, I then used him to block a dagger being thrown towards me and then threw him in one of the opponents field of vision to try and see if it slows it down by just 0.2 seconds.

I then turned around and moved a little to the left to dodge a dagger that almost hit me before summoning a fireball and aiming it at the person beside me, while I was doing that, I grabbed him and then made him unconscious by using concentration… that cost me 20% concentration…

–... 60% concentration left… you really are at a disadvantage, aren't you?

I summoned a great fireball and aimed it at the sky and I made 4 invisible platforms using concentration and by doing that, I blocked 3 attacks, all of them are daggers. Gotta clarify that all of them uses dagger.

As I started to get on top of the great fireball, one of the people teleported towards me and making full use of the trap I made, I just jumped off while making sure that all of the invisible platforms are gone.

He touched the great fireball, and noticing the chance, I ignored said chance and instead did a sweep before grabbing one of them from the ground and using this guy, I threw him off in the air in which he hit the other guy that got hit by a great fireball that is rising in the air…

–One person left… Okay, let's do this, combo style. I mean, fighting more than one person will be hard for you as you can't abuse the world's combo system, but if there's only one… well, that's a different scenario on its own.

I grabbed my gun that I rarely use and shoot it twice, aiming at him and he blocked both of the attacks with his daggers… and you're dead, block stun is a thing.

I made the gun float and shot three more times with it while dashing towards the last one, I also had to make sure I dodged my own lasers and as I reached him, he dodged one laser and he tried to attack me by doing a grab, but I outsmarted him and go outside of his grab range, I then slashed him with Angel, first vertically, and then horizontally to continue the combo. Soon after that, I made Angel spin vertically, dealing lots of hits to this guy and after that, I shot 2 lasers with gun and grabbed him, I then let go of him as the lasers just dealt enough damage to make him unconscious.

"Done and done nya…"

I kicked the body off away from me and turned around as to see my surprise, I seen someone I should have avoided… well, I guess it's fine, I mean the fight before took under 3 minutes to be over, making it so that she has too much time to teleport here.

"... Hmm, I didn't really think you would've won that disadvantagous situation, but I guess I never learn from your strangeness, huh?"

She said so naturally as I switched Angel to Cheating machinations… I changed it to bow form and using the bow, I tried to shoot a quick and weak arrow, but I can't even use concentration at all…

"What's the problem? You can't use your concentration? Don't worry, you won't need it…"

She just said as she shot 22 lasers, luckily, I noticed she would do that while she was talking and barely avoided it by doing a dash and then a slide.

I summoned Angel and stabbed it to the ground…

"Wing mode nya."

I said quietly as I felt I became faster and now have the invisible and intangible wings for 30 seconds. It's rather risky bet, lose or win… the chances of winning is 50/50. I either win or I either lose.

–... Well, if there's only two and we forgotten her combat capabilities which are currently unknown, I guess that makes sense.

I flied to the air slightly, just to the point I'm 4 centimeters above the floor, I then did a sudden acceleration and by grabbing the blade with my hands, I tried to hit her, but she casually takes a side step, but I knew she would do that, so I immediately did a rider kick to stop further momentum at the cost of leg pain… Oof…

I then tried to grab her, but she avoided by grab, but I kinda expected this to happen, so I did a black flip to distance myself away from her as I got hit by another laser….

I covered Cheating machinations with concentration… if I can't use magic… then… what about pure, concentration itself?

–2.3 seconds left…

I used all of my concentration to do a spin slash and it reflected all of the lasers back at her, but I kinda expected that somehow… range of moves are important… especially when my gun is just not touching the area of effect at all. I used it to shoot 3 times before collapsing…

–... And hit.

"... It did hit nya?... Great nya… Atleus, at your service… nya…"

I quietly said… before fainting…

(Change POV)

"Surprisingly, he actually hit me once… I didn't actually think he was gonna do that… I mean, I definitely hold back, but still…"

As she started to go towards Atleus, he teleported. Due to this, she sighed a little before smiling sinisterly.

"Liza, you do know that I put that tournament for this right?"

And as she said that, Liza started to appear in front of her.

"No. My servant is my servant."

Liza just said as she started to disappear from our vision.

I cutted him off quickly.

"Well, guess so. I mean, even though we technically came from the same thing, we got split in the process. Suelta is one of ourselves, but you never wanted to accept us… why?"

He asked again for the unknown time… why…

"... Why would I nya? I don't want to be left alone nya…"

I silently said… but for some reason, I was still heard…

"I know that… but still… would you really want this? Won't you regret this? Consider this, in the future, you are only 1/3 of what you truly are… that means you're only 33% of your true strength… technically 40%, but you're still missing 60% of your total concentration, you know?"

Why would it matter… even if you increase my concentration by two, at the end of it, I'm still gonna just have average amount of concentration…

Eh… you're just worried. And I won't bother sacrificing some people anyway… cause… sacrifices are necessary, but the needed sacrifice isn't always what everyone wants… I rather die, than everyone else dying with me… me dying is worth it.

"No it isn't… then at least use us like how we're supposed to be… why can't we become one?"

Cause getting lonely is something I don't want to be… I don't want to be lonely…

I technically have you the moment I woke up… we just split on the process, so if I consider you as different from me… then we would never be one again, probably.
