The next day, Yukan had all his clothes lying on his bed as he tried to figure out what to wear.

"Mom, what would look good?" Yukan asked his mother who was sitting on the chair right beside Yukan's bed.

"What did you choose to wear previously?" Aayu asked.

Yukan picked out a green lower and a red t-shirt.

"This," Yukan said.

Aayu hit her palm on her forehead. She was completely disappointed in her son's fashion sense.

"Remind me to never let you choose your clothes on your own. Also, why do you even have a green-coloured lower?" Aayu said and got up from the chair and walked to the bed.

'It wasn't even that bad.' Yukan appealed in his mind.

Aayu picked out black lower which looked like jeans and a white shirt.

Yukan took the two and looked at them. After looking at them for a while, he said," Mom, are you sure this will look good?"

"Yup, I am your mother, don't try to teach me." She said.

Yukan went into the bathroom and washed his face before changing his clothes.

After changing his clothes, he ran over to the theatre.

"It would be weird if I am late today even when I asked her," Yukan spoke while running.

When he reached there, he saw Kushina already standing there.

She wore a black skirt and a white top, the same colour scheme as Yukan's clothes. 

Yukan walked to Kushina and noticed the sweat on her forehead.

"Hey Kushina, when did you come?" Yukan asked as he put a hand in his pocket and tried to take out something.

"Not much earlier, I just came," Kushina said as she showed Yukan a polite smile.

Yukan took out his hand and gave Kushina a handkerchief.

Kushina smiled happily and took it from his hands.

"Thank you." Kushina thanked Yukan for giving her the handkerchief.

"No problem. Let's go inside, the movie will start soon." Yukan said.

The two walked into the building together.

While walking, Yukan remembered why he carried a handkerchief today. It was due to a dialogue from his previous life. "Men carry handkerchiefs only to give them to women."

'I am carrying a handkerchief always from now on.'

While he was thinking about it, Kushina poked her elbow onto Yukan.

"Hey, I'm going to buy some popcorn. Gimme the money. I blew all that I had while eating ramen." She said. More precisely, ordered.

Yukan took out his wallet and gave Kushina some money. When Kushina left, he looked at the money he was left with.

The money in his house is all handled by his mother. Even the money he gets from doing missions is always given to her. The money in his wallet was something he got after he finished his pocket money. He had to practically beg his mother for it.

'Why are women around me always able to bully me around? Sed life.' Yukan laughed in his mind.

Kushina in the far, waved at Yukan to come.

Soon, Yukan and Kushina sat in their seats as the movie was about to start.

"So, this is a romantic-tragedy movie. I like this genre, but I am not able to understand why people do not watch this kind of movie." Kushina said as she started to munch the popcorn before the movie even started.

Yukan simply nodded at Kushina's words.

'Let's bear with the movie, now.' Yukan thought as the lights finally turned off.

The sound of light sobs came from Yukan's right.

Yukan rested his head on his hands as he took out a tissue from the box on his lap and gave it to Kushina.

"It was so sad. She had a very bad life. Poor her, I feel bad for her." Kushina said while sobbing. Her eyes were completely red and her nose was running.

"What even was sad?" Yukan asked as he looked at the large number of tissues thrown around.

"Her dog died, what else," Kushina said.

"Her husband did too."

"But still, her dog died, it was sadder." Kushina stopped crying and took another tissue to clean her face again.

After Kushina's words, Yukan started to wonder what his place would be in the future.

'I'd be losing to a dog? Fuck.'

Yukan had calmly waited for Kushina to wash her face and all outside the theatre.

"Let's go and eat something," Yukan said as he saw Kushina come out.

"Let's go then. I want to eat some street food." Kushina said. She had already noticed the less money in Yukan's wallet, so she suggested eating street food.

Yukan and Kushina walked over from one stall to another, finding different things to eat.

By the time they finished eating, the sun had already set and it had started to get dark.

"Do you want to watch the fireworks before leaving?" Yukan asked.

Kushina looked toward the clock and said," Yup, I have some time."

Yukan and Kushina walked to a hill nearby.

They stood at a spot with almost no people. Kushina leaned on the railing while Yukan simply stood there.

"I had so much fun today," Kushina said while looking at Yukan with a smile.

"Me too," Yukan said.

Silence fell, none of them spoke anything for a while.

Right when the fireworks were about to start, Yukan asked Kushina," So, did I earn a second time?"

Kushina looked at Yukan. This time, she did not turn red; rather, she extended her hand.

She put her hand on Yukan's cheek and then brought her head towards Yukan. She raised her feet to match Yukan's height. While Yukan was getting confused as to what was happening, Kushina pecked on Yukan's cheek. (A/N: I think that when 16 year old in real life can have sex, then why not?)

Yukan went into a daze and was not able to say anything as Kushina left in a hurry.

'I did it.' Kushina shouted all around in her thoughts as her face finally turned red.

Yukan put his hand on the cheek Kushina kissed and still had a surprised expression as the first firecracker burst behind him.

-1 Year Later- (Yukan is 17 years old now)

Yukan sat on the chair in his room with only the lamp on his table spreading light in the room.

He was writing his diary, a habit he had started on the battlefield years ago.

"Hey diary, a year has passed since that day. So many things have happened since then. The first thing is, that I started dating Kushina a few months ago. It was like, so tough asking it, confessing wasn't easy at all. Ah, Sensei's second child turned a month old today. He seems to be cuter than Kakashi. Moreover, the most important thing is mom's health…"

After writing for a while, Yukan got up from his chair and walked out of his room.

He walked downstairs and sat at the dining table.

Minato sat beside him.

Aayu put food in front of them. She had a lot of white hair by now and even her skin looked pale.

As she was serving, she coughed a few times.

"Mom, are you alright? Do you need to go to a doctor?" Yukan asked in a worried tone.

"No, it is just some cough." Aayu changed the matter and continued to serve the food.

Yukan took the bowl from her hand and said," I'll take my food myself, you just sit and eat your own."
