Chapter 83: 80

Yukan sat on the bed, looking at the dark floor of his room as the moonlight penetrated through the window.

Yukan softly pressed the temple of his head as he slowly muttered, "Remember it, you bitch! Why the fuck did you forget? What is it today? What is the dat- Wait! Date. Yeah, date. It's our... 6th anniversary today... or maybe the 7th." Yukan still struggled to remember which year it was, he was happy to remember what day it was.

Yukan took out two seals from his system subspace and looked at them.

He removed his upper and put the left seal on his chest. The seal slowly disappeared, making his chest look normal again.

"....I hope she will like this," Yukan said as he put on his upper again and put the seal in his pocket.

Yukan went back down and ate dinner with Kushina.

"Hey, happy anniversary to you. I made these sweaters for you and us. Also, this rose too." Kushina said as she gave Yukan two sweaters and one well-made ribbon rose.

"Hmm, sweaters...?" Yukan said as he picked them up.

The moment he opened them, a red sweater of his size and another very small one fell. It was folded inside the bigger sweater.

"This...."

"Yes, One for you and one for our child. Matching sweaters." Kushina said as she put her hand on her stomach.

"Haha, that's cute," Yukan said as he put the sweaters down and took the seal out from his pocket.

"What is this?" Kushina asked.

"A seal?" Yukan answered.

Kushina blinked her eyes once and then looked at Yukan with an amazed expression.

"Haha, alright. Keep this seal with you always. If you ever face any crisis or problem, inject this with chakra." Yukan said as he picked up a glass of water.

"Hmm, what will happen after that?" Kushina asked.

Yukan looked Kushina in her eyes and suddenly removed his upper.

"Y-You- No, we can't right now." Kushina blushed and covered her face.

"Not that tomato. Look at this." Yukan said as he close his eyes and focused his chakra on the seal he put on himself previously. The seal slowly became visible once again.

"Now, this is good. When you put chakra in your seal, I will be teleported to where the seal is. Like swapping places. It's like magnets which will activate on chakra injection. When you pour chakra in yours, mine will get attracted to it and teleport to it. The teleportation part was taught to me by Minato. He's a bad teacher, for sure." Yukan said.

"T-Then won't this mean that you'll be in danger?" Kushina asked.

"Hmm, me? Nope, but someone else would be in danger for sure." Yukan said as he put his upper back up.

"Also, an important thing, before I forget, if at the moment of danger, you are very far from me and don't have a lot of chakra, don't use this. If sufficient chakra is not injected into it, the seal may start absorbing life force." Yukan told Kushina about the downside of these seals.

"Thank you for this. Really. This means a lot. In front of this, my gift..." Kushina's mood got a little down.

"You're the best gift I have," Yukan said as he stood behind Kushina and softly massaged her shoulders.

-The next morning-

"Hey Kushina, where is my bottle?"  Yukan shouted and asked as he ran around the house trying to find things.

"It's in the same place it always is," Kushina said as she cooked food.

"It isn't here tho," Yukan said as he opened the shelf.

Kushina walked to Yukan, took out a few things and finally took out the bottle. She then looked at Yukan and said, "Open your eyes from the next time." 

"I-I see. Anyways, just get me whatever you have made, I'll leave right after eating." Yukan said as he sat and started eating some hot omelettes.

"Why are you leaving so suddenly? I thought you said you will leave in a few days." Kushina asked as she sat opposite Yukan.

"Hmm, I'm going there first and will come back before Minato leaves. We have two pregnant women in the family, so at least one of us should be in the village all the time in case something unfortunate happens. I'll be back before he leaves, don't worry." Yukan said. Though this was a big part of his decision, the reason for him leaving sooner was that he was feeling uneasy about this mission and wanted to leave as soon as possible.

'Every time I've had this feeling, someone has died.' Yukan thought as he then looked at Kushina.

'At least she'll be safe. As long as Minato's here, it's fine.' Yukan thought and got up after finishing his breakfast.

"Be safe, don't be in a hurry to return," Kushina said.

Yukan left the house without much dilly-dallying and reached the gate of Konoha soon.

"Sensei, you're here." Rin, a student of Yukan shouted when she saw Yukan.

"Hmm, why are you three here?" Yukan asked as he looked at Rin along with his other two students, Kakashi and Obito.

"Sensei, we are going on the mission with you. Hokage-Sama said that he told you already." Obito said.

As Yukan tried to remember, he remembered Hiruzen telling him something about his students too but he was not clear about what he said back then.

After some thinking, Yukan said, "Well, we should go. Some bait may be needed to catch a fish." 

-An underground cave near the mission location-

"Madara-Sama, I heard that the Uchiha you had your eyes on is coming for the mission here but that Yukan Norio will also be coming." A half-black and half-white man said while bowing politely in front of Madara.

"Yukan Norio coming here will not be a problem. Though he may be strong among his peers,  he will not be able to touch me. He will also be busy doing the mission, so he cannot be at the tail of his students all the time." Madara said.

"For the plan, Uchiha Obito is merely a failsafe. He is only to be used if the plan goes into jeopardy. He is not a necessity but a luxury that would be good to have. Moreover, I would like it If we do meet Yukan Norio. That will only help me prepare for the future." Madara said as he stood up, put his hands to his back and walked past Zetsu, onto another room.

A/N: One thing I would like to say, Yukan is treating Minato like a brother whom he can trust for anything, anytime and is not someone weak who is depending on him.
