Who the hell is this weirdo?

I opened my eyes widely and tilted my head, waiting for further explanation. My memories were still somewhat jumbled, and I had no recollection of how I got here.

“It’s fine,” he said with a loud tone of voice, “You can take your time adapting to the current situation. You actually managed to defeat the Primordial, but we’ll get back to that later.”

“The Primordial?” I asked, then I understood when he pointed at the large corpse that was in the room.

Aha, it was a Primordial! Whatever, I bet they’re rebranded Bahamuts.

I nodded, then asked him about my current whereabouts.

“Don’t worry about that, I’ll explain everything in time,” he said, “The bad news is that the connection between your body and soul is somewhat fucked up, and it’ll take you quite a while before you’re able to use your full strength without the risk of blowing up.”

He stopped speaking for a moment and inhaled a breath of air. He waited for me to digest the information that he just told me, and I was frankly startled by what he said.

The connection between my body and soul… I wonder where I’ve heard about this before?

Suddenly, it hit me. I remembered a couple of weird events that happened to me; it was when I met too many people looking just like me.

The memories were hazy, but my intuition told me that the meeting with those people was what allowed me to win against my opponent. I decided to move on from the issue, and focus on other things.

I’ll listen to the good news for now.

I motioned for him to continue, and he did after giving a weird laugh.

“The good news is that you’re the first guy to clear the tutorial!” he said, “You have many rewards to check out, and I bet you can evolve your class once more at this point.”

I nodded in understanding, and my stress lessened a lot. I knew that someone able to kidnap me after the end of the tutorial should be able to kill me at any moment, but he didn’t do it yet. I kept my caution and tried to open the system screens that I’d been hoarding for a while.

“I’m glad to see that you’re finally having some peace of mind, as I have a lot to discuss with you when you’re done with your personal matters,” he said, “For now, I’ll read a novel.

I took a look at the novel’s cover, and found that it was a familiar one.

‘Le Comte de Monte Cristo’, huh ? That’s a good novel.

I took a deep breath and opened the system screens that were on the edge of my view.

It was an ugly view, but it wasn’t as chaotic as I thought it would be.

Let’s see what I got…

-Host gained a total of 197580000 tutorial points throughout his tutorial clear.

-For having more than zero points, the host gains a Soul Identity item.

-For having more than one hundred points, the host gains a Mystery Box.

-For having more than one thousand tutorial points, the host gains a Copper Mystery Box.

-For having more than one hundred thousand tutorial points, the host gains a Silver Mystery Box.

-For having more than one million tutorial points, the host gains a Golden Mystery Box.

-For having more than a hundred million tutorial points, the host gains a Custom Mystery Box.

-You’ll be able to spend your tutorial points once you find a System Trading Station on your planet!

-You gained 12 titles for your efforts in the tutorial.

These are a lot of mystery boxes! I am mostly curious about the custom mystery box, as no one got more than a hundred million tutorial points in my past life.

Each Mystery Box had an item that was somewhat tailored to the host’s needs, and they gave valuable items that couldn’t be found on the market.

I had many things in mind to buy using my tutorial points, and most of them would be useful in the guild that I planned on creating. The number of tutorial points that I got was staggering, but it wasn’t enough to buy a lot of items that were available in the trading stations.

I remember there being an Interstellar Anti-matter Bomb that cost about four hundred million tutorial points, and it wasn’t even the most expensive item on the list!

The titles were too many for me to check them one by one, as I couldn’t wait any longer to evolve my class.

I’ll check them quickly once I evolved my class.

-Host is ranked first among others who participated in the same tutorial iteration!

-Host gains a Golden Mystery Box

-Jason Stubbs is the fastest host to clear the tutorial on this planet!

-Host gains a title: [Rapid LaVitesse]

-Host gains a Custom Mystery Box

[Rapid LaVitesse]

Time might be a freight train, but you’re a supersonic bullet!

Even the tutorial’s tribulations couldn’t endanger you, and you emerged faster than they could realize it.

You indeed played a great role in this achievement, we know!

-Increases all stats by 100 each.

-Gives you the special stat; LCK.

LCK: Luck

-This stat affects the probabilities of daily events to be slightly in your favor.

You are reading story System Dilemma at novel35.com

-Stat Cap is 100.

I-Waiting for the remaining hosts in the other tutorial iterations to get their clears….

-Your global ranking based on the tutorial points will be revealed then!

Aha, that’s the title that I’ve been looking for!

Luck was such a useful stat, and it was rather hard to obtain it. I knew of four people who had it in my past life, and they went to great lengths to acquire it. It opened many opportunities and rigged life in your favor.

Oh well, I guess I’ll have to wait for the best reward of all because there were still people who didn’t clear the tutorial.

I might end up waiting for eleven days, as the regular duration of the tutorial was twelve days.

Still, I was sure that I would have the first rank, as Stella only acquired seventy million tutorial points in my past life.

I suspected that killing the Primordial played a big role in the number of points that I had, and I was thankful for that.

Now, it’s time for the class evolution!

[Class Evolution Conditions met!]

Please choose a class from the following options:

[Class: Daddy of Flames (Legendary)]

You wield your powers to burn people, but you had no calling to follow except your basic whims.

That is, till now.

Angry at the ignorance of mortals and the mistakes that they do, you decided to punish them. You are a punisher specialized in fighting wrongdoers, and natural evil too!

Devils fear you, and justice heroes are in awe of your actions despite their cruelty. You burn living things for their transgressions, and not many sinners are able to survive an encounter with you.

You live for a higher cause, and you’ll meet people who share the same ideology along the way.

A father chastises his children, and you can’t stand by the side when people are making mistakes.

[Class: Pyrotechnical Incinerator (Legendary)]

The path of a loner is harsh, and the lack of comrades can make life quite hard.

However, you found a way to slightly remedy the issue.

By focusing on big-scale damage, you managed to increase your efficiency against large groups of enemies.

There aren’t many conditions for the skills of this class to work, but they require a certain degree of creativity to unlock their full potential.

You’re a man who cares about his personal interests first and foremost; external matters are nothing but passing news to you. So, you decided to use your capacity with the flames to protect yourself and the people close to you.

Bring on the chaos!

-This class increases Fire Affinity to Medium (30/100)

[Class: Charred Lump of Misery (Legendary)]

You’re disappointed with the righteous people, and the tries of the Great Church to brainwash humans.

‘Fuck them’ you said, ‘I’ll destroy them,’ you added.

Overcome with rage, you’re ready to do anything for your goal. Your destructive prowess is unparalleled, but you’ll have to burn your soul to achieve such greatness.

Worry not! For the hypocrites will disappear soon; you’ll wipe them out.

Challenge their beliefs, and destroy those who hide their hideous truths under masks of righteousness.

Warning: Every time you burn your soul, you’ll lose a variable amount of your lifespan.

I sighed.

It’ll take me some time to pick a suitable class.

“The hydra was harder to beat than I thought,” said Stella as she pulled a large shard of ice from the body of the boss, “One boss is left, and we’ll be able to clear the tutorial.”

“You bet,” said Oleg, “I am so tired of these small fries. I wish I was able to be on the offensive more!”

“Relax buddy,” said Igor, “The class options that you got in your first evolution didn’t improve your offensive capacities enough, but there’s always a next chance…”

Oleg nodded, and Igor resumed speaking, “for you to take the L once more!” then he started laughing.

Oleg stood motionless for a couple of seconds as if he was repressing his anger, before he jumped to attack Igor with his bare hands. The boys played around for a while, but Stella interrupted the fun.

“How can you joke around? It’s time for us to find the Chimera,” she said, “We have a mission from our sponsors, and we can’t disappoint them any further. It was already too much when Jason Stubbs evolved his class before any of us had the chance to do so!”

Suddenly, a system screen appeared in front of each one of them.

[Congratulations, Host Jason Stubbs is the first to clear a tutorial iteration!]

[Clear time: 20 hours, 4 minutes, 2 seconds, and 14 milliseconds]
