Chapter 1: THE ACCIDENT

“Annie, you are awake”.  Annie and her parents are just returning from the hospital for medical checkup, while driving home, Annie fall asleep in the car.

Annie, you are awake, Happy birthday to you my pumpkin, mrs jones said happily.

thank you mummy, Annie replied her mum. Annie I got you a present, Honey give to her, her father said while driving. Annie’s mum brought out a neatly wrapped present and give it to her, Annie opened the presents and it was a music box. Happy 9^th years old birthday to you my baby, her father said smiling. Thank you daddy, thank you mummy, Annie said still checking out her new music box.

All of a sudden, there is total blackout, the road was totally dark and empty except for the jones family car. Annie’s parent were in panic, their car began to tumbled, it tumbled over and over again.” DADDY, MUMMY, somebody please help us” Annie cried for help, her parent were no longer moving. She struggled  and successfully unfastened the seat belt and got out. She then see a man and a woman coming towards her, when they got closer to her, she screamed cause they resembled her father and mother so much.

“Annie you are awake” annie’s father said. I love you mum, I love you dad, annie said hugging her parents. What is wrong with you, did you have a bad dream, her mother asked her.

Yes mum and I don’t want to even remember it. She said.

It is news time, mr jones switched on the tv, A family of seven died of food poisoning, the relatives of the family was weeping and crying. While watching this sad news, mr and mrs jones was laughing and smiling. Annie was surprised to see her parents laughing happily while watching the news.

Mum, I want to eat strawberry cookies, she told her mum. Her mum went to the kitchen to get her the strawberry cookies. Annie quietly followed her mum with a scissors hidden behind her, her mom looked for the cookies and could not find it.

Mum, we don’t buy strawberry cookies cause it turns out that am allergic to strawberry. She said to her mum. Oh I forgot, will you eat some fruits? Her mother asked her. My mum will never forget cause she is a doctor, Annie ran towards her mum and stabbed her with the scissors. Her supposed mum grap her by the neck and tried to strangled her, Annie kick her and ran towards her room, her supposed parents ran after her. Annie got into the room and locked the door. Her supposed parents were growling like wild animals and tried to break the door. Annie hid and covered her face with her palm. After some few minutes, the noise dried down.

A very young and handsome man appeared into the room and moved closer to Annie. ”jane, jane” the  man called and got no response. I guess you her not her, he said. His eyes changed into a blazing fire. Forget everything that happen today or else you will die.

Annie removed her palm from her face and meet herself at the accident scene with reporters, police and ambulance but the body of her parent were missing.
