Standing a bit further away from the others who told other adventurers their story, I could see Hannah approaching me from the gate with her horse nearby.
“Soo … what’s our story?” Hannah asked, looking towards the bunch of adventurers who were cheering loudly.
“The saint was caught up in a horde of demons and fought against them valiantly. Then, the necromancer appeared right as we managed to capture a demon general and killed him. The end. How did things go on your side?” I asked, waving towards them with a slight smile on my face.
“Pretty good actually. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact they want to let her go.” Hannah explained and looked over towards them while waving as well.
“Likewise … shall we?” She sad and directly straddled her horse. Waving towards the group of idiots one last time, I whistled loudly and listened to the approaching stallion with a smile on my face.
As I straddled it as well, Ellie came over right away, probably wondering what we were about to do.
“Where are you going?” She asked and frowned deeply. She was apparently not very keen on all the fuss surrounding them and rather wanted to stumble through the darkness.
“We are looking for some stragglers. You all can rest now. You did great.” I said and pressed my heels into the side of the stallion which directly made a little jump forwards. Then, I grabbed into my saddle bag and retrieved a magical lamp which I lit directly. Following Hannah through the night while whistling quietly, we traveled a long time northwards until my ears picked up the screaming of a single girl in the distance.
“Found her.” I said and steered my stallion a bit to the right. Ten minutes later, we were at an artificial clearing inside the forest with several small fires around us.
“Who do we have here? It’s a lost sheep!” I exclaimed and made myself very audible for the girl who was impaled by three spears with different magics imbued into them. Worst of all was probably the healing effect though which meant that she couldn’t die, no matter what I did to her.
“You! You! I’ll kill you!” Olivia screamed and trashed around, but the barbs at the spear made it impossible for her to escape.
“Oh? Really? I would love to die from the hands of my enemies.” I admitted right away and giggled crazily. Dying was always a weird fantasy of mine after all. “But didn’t you just promise the others you wouldn’t hurt anyone? Or was that possibly … a lie?” I asked, feeling quite bummed out that she wouldn’t get any chance of ramming a sword through my chest again.
“I’ll kill you!” She repeated, screaming at me loudly until I got close to her. Then, she spit towards me which I just responded to with a very kind smile.
“You know Olivia? I don’t even get why you are so angry at the gods. I was tortured for the first years of my life …” I commented, grabbed one spear and pulled it out of her without even bothering about her screams. “… then I was raped by the one who created me, traumatising me completely.” I nodded towards Hannah, who strolled over towards her and cuffed Olivia’s hands with these weird magical handcuffs. “And then, I was also forced to die more often than I can count. Next was that the gods took my mother and my old friends from me …” I explained, ripping the third spear out of her while gleefully looking at her rapidly closing wound.
“They use me to keep this world running in its current form. Heck, I was created for a fucking reason I still don’t know. But even then …” I muttered, grabbed the last spear and pulled it out of her abdomen violently. “I cannot blame them. They must feel thrilled to see you guys working against each other and I’m sure a few gods get off my actions as well. And sometimes, I am really wishing Aska would see this.”
Catching the flask with red liquid Hannah through at me out of the air, I kicked the kneeling Olivia who was bleeding rapidly into her hurting side and watched in delight how her face contorted to pain.
“Ahh. Do you want to know something else? My feelings are influenced by a multitude of things, including how old you are. But you know what? I have no problem hurting you at all.” I said, kneeled down right next to her and forced her mouth open.
“Good girls swallow …” I giggled happily and pushed the open flask into her mouth. The health potion of the highest grade immediately started to work wonders as her belly closed up right away. “You are a good girl!” I exclaimed happily and dragged her onto her feet right away.
“I do wonder how much you will hate us when I am finished with you though … where should we start first Hannah? Throw her into a kinky brothel? Skin her alive?” I asked happily and noticed how Hannah’s eyes started glowing with eagerness right away.
“You can give her to me. I’m going to have so much fun with her.” She said, happy to have fun with another person.
“Oh, right! Lets have fun with her together! Or you can have her during the day, and I do my things with her during the night!” I said, wondering wether Tom and the whore would join in.
“What are you … talking about?” Olivia asked, clearly still shaken from all the pain.

“About the fact that I have a very kinky subordinate? That I cannot wait to have my own fun with you? I’m sure we will get along well after a few years.” I said rapidly, my thoughts already envisioning a future where she could enjoy her torture as good as I would.
“No … you don’t need to torture me. I’ll tell you everything you need to know.” She said surprisingly, putting me off completely. There was still fun in breaking her, but not as much when she was resisting.
“Don’t worry. With that cuffs you won’t die like the other demon we caught. The magical circle cannot activate without your mana.” I explained hopeful that she would backtrack on her words right away.
“I don’t have one of those.” Olivia said, making me grab her by the throat and push her against the nearest tree.
“Oh? Interesting.” I said, standing on my toes and bringing my canines close to her nape. “We could have had so much fun together. Just imagine eating me out every single night alongside two others. Looking at your reaction, you might become the perfect addition …” I muttered, choking her a little bit for fun. She turned her head away from me, strangely red all of a sudden even though I didn’t even start yet. “… and when Hannah did have her fun with you and I am happy about your behaviour, I might turn you into one of my kin.” I said and nibbled on her exposed skin a little. She closed her legs a little, but I forced mine in between hers right away, thrilled abound her performance so far.
“Just ask … your questions already.” She said, trembling a little.
“Wow … what a fun break.” I said and let go of her right away. She slowly slid down the tree until she sat on the ground, a strangely determined look on her face.
“So … how do you want to defeat the gods?”
“We do not care about all the gods. There are some who have indeed helped us in the past for example by reincarnating us … and we will support them in fighting against the others. We will … we will…” she said, groaning loudly but still looking at me with a smile on her lips. “We will … clear the path for the god of death … and he will grant us whatever we wish for!” She said weakly, her left half of her face slowly sliding downwards until I could see into her open mouth. She kept laughing though and looked into my stunned face with happiness. I was sure she wanted to say more than this, but her skin and muscles lost their nature in a matter of seconds and turned into glibber quickly.
She was staring at me with so much delight that I couldn’t contain my anger and kicked her head with all I got. Her brain splattered all around her, pieces of her skull flew through the air and blood seeped out of her neck as I pulled my gory shoe backwards.
I didn’t even try to keep her soul on Solaris. After all, I finally knew why Aska was against so many of my actions. And finally, my rage could be directed at someone.
“Does he REALLY think that Aska is on his side?” I screamed loudly, altering several night active birds around us. “I’ll tear you apart!”
The worst had happened. With the help of of the demon king, there was no way he couldn’t get onto this world. Stomping furiously into the puddle of blood that Olivia had been, I ran my fingers through my hair, uncontrollably emitting death from my soul. Laughing hysterically, I hammered my fist into the tree in front of me, clawed at its bark with my fingernails and then screamed once more, louder than Olivia had been before.
Head butting the tree several times, I finally froze as Hannah laid her hand on my shoulder carefully. And then, I laughed madly, finally realising that this wasn’t just bad news, it was also a chance.
I had no idea how Aska could get into this world. But the demon king did. Even if he wasn’t the only one trying to open the door for Aska, he knew the process for sure.
And I only needed to make him regret choosing the wrong side.
“Oh demon king … my poor demon king … I can’t await to hold your head in my hands.” Once again, I giggled crazily, but with a way happier undertone than usually. I had a plan already. Three months and the demon king would grovel in front of me … if he couldn’t open the door for Aska beforehand.
The race against time had begun, the pieces had been placed … I could only hope the white queen remained the strongest one on the chess board.
