Arriving at his home, Shen Yue walked into his room and quickly changed. He was already used to the new way of dressing himself so he was rather quick about getting ready and at the door.

Walking through the courtyard he headed to the exit point reserved for the main family members, and showed a silver seal to the guards there. 

The seal was a token given to each young master of the family once they are of age eight to collect a group of five guards and three servants to travel with them to where they wish within Glory city.

Each time it was used the token was logged and tracked by the head of security, and once approved a selection of off duty guards and servants were then arranged along with a luxurious carriage.

The Seal also demonstrated the given authority to the young master; it went from Gold to half gold to pure silver to half copper to copper.

While Shen Yue was waiting, another young boy came by the same age as him. To describe his appearance would be good looking but not handsome like Shen Yue was. The youth had a lanky body, and sword-like eyebrows. 

With an oval face with skin that was well taken care of and long, red hair that was held together with a fox pin. 

The boy's name was Shen Fang who previously was at the family  banquet and  held a lot of inner resentment for Shen Yue and Shen Fei.

Taking out his token, Shen Fang showed it to the guard before putting away with well manners. The reason why he was so insulted and had much resentment inside was that his status was lower than the tainted blood ahead of him in the family line.

His token was half silver part copper.

~"That bastard, always having a smug looking face but not for long.

There is no way a half blooded commoner like you can stand up to me that has the blood of two noble families! I wish both you and Shen Fei would just drop dead already.

Once our talent is tested I am completely sure our status would change. I can't wait to see how you look later!"~

Shen Yue placed his attention on Shen Fang, and although Shen Fang hid it well Shen Yue could feel the slight resentment emanating from his other brother.

~"But why so bitter towards your own family? "~  Shen Yue questioned in his mind before opening up and speaking to his brother while they both waited for their carriages.

"What brings you here, are you heading to the market?" Shen Yue asked. Trying to at least talk with him but Shen Fang was just too livid to speak after being reminded of his status and didn't want to risk what he might say next.

The Carriages arrived and for Shen Yue it was the first time experiencing going outside and riding in a carriage. The animals for his and Shen Fang carriage were both white spirit horses but the differences came with the guards and the carriages themselves.

Shen Yue's carriage could fit 8 people inside and three outside including the driver. The carriage was decorated in with two silver and gold dragons printed on each side of the carriage along with one solid golden dragon encrusted with rubies and gems crafted on the top of the carriage.

Shen Fang's was similar, but his had smaller dragons with a silver dragon on top. Each side of the carriage had two silver dragons and one copper one chasing each other on a red background.

After the guards arrived, the carriage doors opened from the inside revealing the maids and the young masters were guided into the carriages before taking out of the sacred family property and into the high areas of Glory city.

During the ride, Shen Yue did basic arithmetic in his mind and worked on his calculation abilities. There was a novel he read years ago about a man who was in a game world with a skill to calculate the weak points of his opponents.

With that skill although powerful it took awhile to calculate based on the strength of the opponent but if he was a mathematician it wouldn't take as much time as it did.

~"If I had that skill, I can go unbridled through the rest of my life but I am not sure if this technique would work in the first place not to mention that I don't know how creating cultivation techniques works here at all but it doesn't hurt trying. 7*5/3=33+2 or 11*3+2 or 11.666 with repeating sixes."~ Thought Shen Yue as he rode peacefully in the carriage and continued doing math in his mind to bide the time.

 

After a while, Shen Yue's carriage stopped at the entrance of the higher Nobel market before showing a insignia and moving along into the streets of the market area.

Glory city city had three markets, One for the wealthy major and noble families, one for the general cultivator population and one for the commoners.

The commoners were forbidden from going to the upper market but could freely go to the other two, but the same restrictions didn't apply to the noble families who could go anywhere they wanted within reason.

There wasn't much segregation between the aristocrats in glory city but only those from a major family could ride a carriage in the market while the rest were forced to walk. So Shen Yue could see the envious and yearning gazes in his carriage.

"Young master Shen Yue, do you have any specific shop you wish to see? " Asked one of the servant's in the carriage before they came to a stop at a temporary station for a list of goods. 

Meanwhile Shen Fang's carriage had gone into the cultivators district , then the guards and Shen Fang switched to a more low-key and anonymous carriage before heading off into the dark areas of the commoner district.

This risky operation would have to do for now, until he could get his special items in another district .
