The sun shined brightly in the morning, the skies were clear and Shen Yue was relaxing at a new table in his courtyard. Sitting in his chair he sipped on some Chinese green tea as he read the "classics" of this world which surprisingly enough came from the Sacred Empire which was luckily chanced upon by his family during the demon beast war.

It was thanks to his status and a gift he bought for his elder brother that allowed him to temporarily touch this text which for some strange reason besides his love for reading was drawing him to it as if some invisible force was influencing him to read it.

"Tangible yet intangible, obtuse yet clear,  fate is something that can be changed yet cannot be graped like a flowing river; it always moves forward guided by destiny into many streams, rivers, and lakes.." Shen Yue spoke to himself out loud as he read the text feeling a fate renaissance with the text.

-Fwoosh-

Unbeknownst to him the wheel in his soul picked up the pace of its turns increasing the refining speed.

"Too calculate fate and to know destiny! That is the study of numerology…"

-Hong Long-

With this line the wheel in Shen Yue's soul produced a glow and spun at a faster and faster rate before transferring the glow into Shen Yue's mind. Causing him to be enlightened, granting him the seed for his future; and the glow proceeds to be turned into a cold and grey energy within his mind and eyes before fading away.

Sadly his realm wasn't high enough to notice.

"Big brother, mother said I could head to school with you." Shen Xuan shouted excitedly to Shen Yue as he ran over to him with joy before leaping up and hugging him.

"Come on Shen Xuan don't you see your bothering big brother be more responsible!" Shen Ru yapped, snapping at Shen Xuan while trying to pander to Shen Yue but in response Shen Cuan just stuck his tongue out to annoy and tease her.

Snapping out of his short little daze, Shen Yue noticed the argument and broke it apart."Now, now, that's enough you guys need to get along. More classes will be starting soon in a few hours so we can play before that and then get to school. How does that sound?" Spoke Shen Yue trying to reason with his fellow siblings.

"Yay!" Shouted Shen Xuan as he foolishly raised his hands and fell on his butt.

"Hmph. idiot." murmured Shen Ru before sheepishly looking away. So for the next few hours Shen Ru, Shen Yue, and Shen Xuan all played together in the archery field and then ate breakfast right before starting school.

Shen Yue was bored in class but political and family struggles wasn't as bad as he thought it would be and he was actually enjoying his new siblings company but a gnawing feeling on him was saying it wasn't going to last but he thinks that that wouldn't be for at least a few more years. So he didn't mind attending class as thanks to having to live in modern society he was head in many general subjects compared to his peers.

"Soul force originates from the spirit and we use that energy to cultivate into fighters and demon spiritualists.  While fighters can only use physical attacks, demon spiritualists can use many different methods to heal others, destroy our enemies and create what can be considered divine items by normal people's standards.  We are the upper class and our duty as cultivators is to fight the demon beast and as members of the family protect the family. " Spoke to the teacher, watching the class pay more attention before continuing.

"The meridians in the body below the age of ten cannot handle soul force so we can not gauge your realm until then. However there are seven realms of talent we can measure with red being the weakest followed by the other colors of the rainbow with indigo being the strongest but never achieved in the past 10,000 years.

You could expect to be a gold ranked fighter if you have great talent, else you would peak at bronze or silver your whole life. Bloodline is also a factor in inheriting talent so commoners will all in most likelihood stay commoners." finished the teacher before dismissing the class.

Since it was finally over Shen Yue quickly went out and after returning the books he didn't read continued to do his usual daily activities not knowing that he would regret his behavior later.

Peng Jiu and Lian Hou forgot how old their master was when they took what happened to the boss of the craftsmen association and  Lian Hou the thinner of the two was beaten hard for what happened before sending back a new deal for taking 65% of the revenue and giving the rest to Shen Yue along side a shaved toy bear poking fun at his "immaturity".

Shen Yue didn't even try to fight this, but after asking for an advance on the money he managed to get the ball rolling so for the next few months besides playing archery and reading books, he also began saving that money and storing it away just in case. He also bought himself a set of really well made knives since he couldn't yet use inscription weapons.

Currently he was with a clothing designer to change his outfit so that it could hide more weapons while being convenient for him to take out. But when he finally got the order, someone else was waiting in his home, it was his brother Shen fei. So when he arrived at his manor he was slightly surprised seeing him in his chair reading one of the books he borrowed about inscriptions something he was interested in and recently learning.

"This is pretty advanced material for your age little brother, I heard you were doing well in your classes?" Shen Fei remarked, asking an obvious question to fuel the conversation.

"Yes, recently I have found myself more and more interested in the subject, and wish to one day collect all information regarding the subject into my personal library." Shen Yue replied without batting an eye trying to remember why his elder brother was here.

"Remember to pack light. We are leaving this afternoon for the trip." Shen Fei said before quickly leaving with the book into needing this for his studies at school.
