Chapter 52: Chapter 45:Support conversation

Simon had enough of walking so now he sat on the back of Itsy, she for her part seemed to have taken up knitting as she kept her hands busy.

Whiskers lay on his lap purring like an engine while Rawr, Maria, and Witch were having a conversation among themselves. They were going far off the sacred land path now and stronger monsters were popping out now and then but with the presence of Rawr. They were very much a non-issue.

He gave out a long breath that was being misted over, something he did not notice till now as he still felt like the temperature was still normal. But now that he was focusing on it, it was definitely getting a lot cooler. He was just unaffected. This meant the Day of Frost was quickly approaching which would signal the coming of winter.

Simon reminisced about the season of 'pie'. One of his aunts made a mean flame-berry pie, but it was something they could only have in winter as the fruit only grew in winter and degraded extremely quickly. He and his dad would often fight over who got to eat more as they were the only that ate normal food at their house.

This made him slightly home-sick, he had not celebrated a single holiday since leaving his home. Outside of the ones sanctioned by the church but all those involved more praying, and dick-sucking in his case. It still felt like any other day.

He did not know it him the way it did. It just felt oddly distressing.

'It... is... ok...' came a voice from his overcoat that jarred him out of his thoughts.

'You... miss... home... I... too... if... you... gone...' continued Hiss.

Simon smiled and he started laughing. It came from absolutely nowhere but he could not help it. Whatever melancholy he was feeling was washed away as he laughed out loud. Whiskers let out an annoyed *~nya~* as she looked up at him in annoyance, before going back to bed.

'Is everything alright?' Maria chimed in.

'Nothing. Just being a bit stupid.' Simon replied his heart feeling very light after the outburst. Ever since he bound Witch he was feeling all over the place and it was a bit of an adjustment.

'Oh no! What happened this time?! Did you bind an eldritch god while time froze!?! Master, I am strong but not that strong!' Rawr spouted the most random things. 

'I do not know what an eldritch god is. But no, just feeling homesick is all.'

'Speaking using a mental link is fun.' Itsy replied stoically out of absolutely nowhere.

Simon could not help it, he burst out laughing once more.

'Oh no, Maria! I think we broke our master!' shouted Rawr being completely sincere.

'I think he is just enjoying our banter.' Witch also decided to join in.

'Good... master... was... sad... now... happy... weird?...' Hiss came in with her cryptic message.

'I believe our master might have finally realized that he is growing up and leaving things behind. Quite an odd timing but it happens to every tamer that goes on their journey.' Maria was sympathetic.

Was that really all there was to it?

Simon was not so sure. He knew he did not have that much emotional depth, and that was why bounced back from everything so easily. This felt deeper and more... he could not find the words to describe it, try as he might. But the feeling was new and very hard to handle. And he felt he had a very decent handle on his emotions.

'There, there, master. You are just growing up.' Maria soothed.

'Speaking of growing up, master I demand sexy time! Something keeps happening and it keeps getting delayed. I say we do a petition and demand we get daily sexy time!' Rawr flipped the conversation once more.

'Umm... Rawr I think we were having a moment.' Witch tried to reason.

'Yes. Master is suffering through new feelings and Maria was trying to guide him through.' Itsy was back.

'~Nya~ Is it feeding time?~Nya~' even the mention of sex brought the gluttonous slothful cat out of her slumber as she started squirming in his lap.

'Yes! Feeding time! Feeding time! My first feeding time!' Rawr started to chant.

Simon could somehow feel Maria making a face through their mental link.

Simon gave them a smirk. The present was very fun, why did he need to dwell on a left-behind past?

He shouted out loud.

"Fine! No more traveling for today! Set up camp. Today is only feeding time!" 

'Hooray!'

Simon was soon naked waist down as he was hauled off to bed

Unbeknownst to the group they were being stalked by two very powerful but very confused and concerned monster girls as their eyes tracked Rawr and the open willy.

Their expressions were a storm of desire and doubt.

"That complicates things... Especially if she has a complete bond."

"Yeah... Yeah, I know."
