And I watch as he swings his longsword; a strike that upon release can cut away and delete a concept from existence, I suppose I am the only person in this world who remembers the concept of fatigue and intangibility, and I expect myself to forget it again soon if he chose to.
I then turned my head towards the left of the field — A teleportation ability? No, it was time manipulating as he appeared on the opposite side of the battle, before my death I vaguely heard the confirmation.
These are my students, I would like to be proud and write more about them, but they are going to clash right now.
“Keng…” I close my eyes before their swords collide, knowing one piece of iron will break from their weapon, flying with unreasonable speed towards my forehead and killing me instantly.
I fell down to the ground, as expected, no matter my position, posture nor my breathing, I will still die by the exact same cause, one piece of metal flying straight to the forehead, yet even if I were to move to the opposite side of the sparring field, the same thing happens, for the 16th time now.
The worst part is, as far as my understanding goes, there is no one who controls metal in my class.

[What the fuck… Why did the game moderator just kill her like that?]
[Look, if you can’t make a character work, maybe don’t use her in the first place lmao]
[This is such a bad plot, what did I even expect.]
In a group chat, behind monitors and phones, a group of an online community revolving around emerging yourself in fictional combat scenarios, had a conversation about how seemingly an underdog character just died, expecting much more from the character like how the woman; Thuong is secretly very strong but hides her power and such.
Her death adds nothing to the story, her existence did not make sense to them; when setting up a plot and running a story/group, it is expected of the admin to make it logical, making a normal human NPC as the teacher for superhumans were a strange decision, then input to killing her off randomly when two other players are fighting; blaming the reason to their swords is quite childish.

Around and around we go.
The next day happened soon enough.
2050
The United Nations, at risk of alien invasion, decided to gather the most elite fighters around the world to a remote island near the nemo point to train them, using enhanced technology only known to the public as “Alien Technology” to enhance them, for superpowers. Also known as… [Project Alpha]
The more I learn about this, the more I cringe out of how stupid it is, knowing there’s only people under 30 years old who are “gathered” and most of them are cool, untattered young women.
Why? Because no one wants to roleplay as an unappealing or old character.
I should know, before my first death, this plot was written on my computer, for a roleplay group that I was too lazy to set up the feat system and run the plots for.
Something stays the same, even then and now.
I am Thuong, a civics education teacher in high school.
This is the 5th death of mine.
