Chapter 10: Chapter 10

"The hell you are! Blue, get away from that man!" Itt's voice is louder than usual. 

Strangely, he knew where I was, "P', can you tell me how you knew where to find me?" 

I agree I shouldn't climb into strangers' cars even if I recognize their faces.

"Your sister, she was a big help." P'Lek answers.

My sister? Which one? Not Nin since there's no way she'd tell a stranger my whereabouts.

Also, where have I heard his name before? "You look doubtful. Give me a second." He holds up a finger.

P' Lek pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number. 

He then handed me his phone, which I put to my ear, "hello?" 

Mew? There's no way I wouldn't recognize this voice.

"Wait, Mew? How come it's you?" I asked.

"Blue? Why do you call me from P'King's phone? Did he come to pick you up already?"

 It erased all the doubts I had. I handed the phone over. We then headed to the car.

"Hey!" Itt was trying to follow, but the driver stepped in front of him.

Itt stood there feeling useless. Why did someone have to choose this time to ruin everything he built?

The door closed once I sat down in the back seat, "put your seatbelt on." P'Lek leans over to fasten my seatbelt for me.

"But we're in the backseat," I told him.

"It's always best to be safe." He says after fastening my seatbelt.

I feel strange around this man. Is it because he's an adult?

"To xxxx lane." He gives the driver my address.

We pulled up into my driveway thirty minutes later. "Is this the place? So you are a rich kid." 

I unbuckled my seatbelt and turned to face him, "thank you for driving me home, P'Lek." I don't think I should get involved with him any more than this.

Before I could try to get rid of him, Mew and Nin came out of the house together.

Nin notices the unknown car in the driveway and sees Blue talking with a strange man, "hey, Mew, isn't that Blue?" 

Mew looks past Nin and squints over at the parked car. She could see an outline of the man through the car window.

"Now that you mention it, it does look like him." She agrees.

I stepped from the car in a hurry and turned to see my sisters standing nearby the stairs leading up to the house door.

"P'Nin, P'Mew." I was surprised to be facing them like this.

P'Lek steps from the car and reveals himself. Mew, who recognizes him instantly, squeals loudly before fainting.

Nin catches Mew and fans her face, "hey, Mew! Are you okay?" She asked with concern.

Mew points in P'Lek's direction, "P...P... it's P'King!" She says.

Another car pulls up, and Itt jumps out of it, "Itt?" I asked with a frown.

Mew was still talking gibberish while pointing at P'Lek. I think it's too late to turn him away.

In only a few minutes, we were all gathered in the dining room as Mew drank a glass of water until she could collect herself.

P'Lek sat beside me on my left and Itt on my right, while Nin and Mew sat across from us.

"So, according to Mew, you're a famous CEO of three well-known Fashion Industries. I'm impressed." Nin points out.

"Right! Not only is P'King a rich and reliable person, but he's also good-looking. I feel he's perfect for our Blue!" Mew seemed excited.

Why do I feel like she's siphoning me off for marriage? 

"Calm down, Mew. If I didn't know any better, I'd say him being here is your fault." Nin says with a glare.

Mew sits up and smiles innocently, "what? Who me?" 

"By the way, Itt. Why are you here?" Mew changes the subject and looks over at Itt.

It glanced over at Blue and back to Mew, "I'm here with Blue. Don't mind me." He answers.

Mew looks at him for a few minutes, then at Blue, and back again.

She was starting to feel something like a triangle in the making.

Well, even if that's the case, there's no way she would root for Itt. In her opinion, he wouldn't make a good match for her little brother.

Besides, she knew that Ploy had a crush on him.

There's no man better than P'King. When he came up to her to ask about Blue, she was disappointed to learn he was interested in him instead of her. After thinking about it, she couldn't stay mad. 

Her inner fujoshi awakened before she could be disappointed for too long.

"I think you both should leave," Nin says suddenly.

Mew looks at her sister with shocked eyes, "but..." 

Nin holds up a hand to stop her from interfering, "if Dad finds out about this, he will throw a fit."

Itt nods in agreement. He was glad that someone had a brain around here. It serves that man right to think he could latch onto his Blue like that. 

"I understand because no father would want his son involved with an unknown man." P'Lek stands and puts his hands into his pants pockets.

 Mew pouts. It was a shame to let such a fine man walk out like this, "you won't stay for dinner?" She asked.

P'Lek smiled briefly and glanced over at Itt, "I better not since a certain dog might bite me." He says.

That's right, leave and don't come back! Itt was thinking this proudly.

P'Lek leaves his seat, walks past Blue, and stops behind Itt's chair. He then leans down by his ear, "don't be too happy because I don't give up easily." He whispers.

Itt turns to glare at him, "don't even think about getting close to Blue again." He says between clenched teeth.

P'Lek glances over at Blue, "I wonder if that kid realizes your feelings for him. If he finds out, I doubt it'd make him happy. Don't worry since I'll be sure to pick up the pieces once he does." P'Lek grips his shoulder and then lightly pats before straightening.

"Nong, how about walking me to the door?" P'Lek asked Blue.

Itt balls his fist but says nothing back. Mew notices, "Itt? Are you okay?" She asked.

"It's nothing," damn that bastard.
