Chapter 5: Second Floor Exploration, Storytime for Bubble Squid, and training(Chapter 5)

Bubble Squid looks around at the new massive plains area that might look the same but is very different due to its having a functioning ecosystem in Place/More shit is here, looks much better, and Bubble Squid only cares about what food they can shove into their mouth. Terra had to make sure Bubble Squid did not run off, so they were like a mother holding their child's hand while doing pretty much anything that won't result in them getting hurt or be fucking dead via traps or anything else that can kill.

Terra:(The Blind): Now then First thing we are going to do is set up a permanent place to sleep and eat. I am going to teach you how to use your Mana more efficiently.

Terra told bubble Squid to gather deadwood branches or stones to build a fire, and they did so as they trusted their new human friend as they were the nicest out of the 'group' of humans who did not freak out. Bubble Squid being a child, took way longer to gather dead branches and some stones as their child-like wonder was distracted by a spinning fish In a pod for a good few minutes as it looked so cute, and they just laughed at it.

Terra had the time to pitch up a tent and create a vast and deep hole filled with clean water for Terra to sleep in as they noticed them liking the feel of water than being on land. Bubble Squid would feel dry and jumps into the massively wide and deep hole filled with water before their head cutely pops up and looks at Terra with closed eyes.

Terra(The Blind): Alright, now I will spend most of my time educating you, and the first thing we are doing is.

Slaps down a few children's books and a few very basic books on math.

Terra:(The Blind): Now, Which one would you like to read first? You don't get a name, and I kept calling you bubble squid. (Hard thinking process going on)I will give you the name Emicha. Do you like your name?

Bubble Squid would really like the name, and they began nodding up and down, and now something changed, which made them feel more substantial.

F-first ever monsters who are not a hybrid,demi-human, or named after a monster parent(Error. System can not compute)to be named after a Human friend(Or parent). Gained the title "Named by Human," and with this title, you(Error system can't show title never existed before. Goddess of Bubbles and cleaning shows interest in you.)Alternate title gained "Goddess's Intrest."

Emicha looked confused but ignored the glitchy-looking message, and they would point to the obvious choice of the children's Book about the Humanoid Seal Princess who protects her kingdom of Cute bouncy Seals in "Seal Princess. our Cute Ruler."

Terra:(The Blind): Alright, I will tell you the story of the Seal Princess. This Book is more for fun, so I am glad you chose it.

The Book opens, and everything is shining in a white flash. The first chapter of the Book shines "Princess Seals training Under deep waters live a kingdom made out of hardening coral and many other materials founded underwater or stolen from Humans who have made the royal family mad via giving them poisoned food. Princess Seal had an adorable Upper half of a human who had silky white hair and snow-white skin, while their bottom half is a pure white seal body with a decent-sized tail.

The Princess would yawn cutely, and they began to get their royal comfy clothes on, which was a silky smooth red shirt with a picture of the royal family. They would swim out their door, and they began petting and rubbing their seal servants, who do nothing but enjoy the reward coming from the upcoming Princess in training who should be with their family to eat breakfast. They quickly came downstairs and sat down with their parents, who they and some of the servants began to eat their food which By Chef's cooked Giant salmon and other foods that they had the wealth to eat. The Servants ate lower quality stuff that can still be called decent food and not scraps off their plates as this castle respects their servants.

Seal Princess: Mama, I want to train now. I am not hungry.

Mama(Queen Seal): Honeybun, you already ate your food. Now, please, it's time to train you. 

 The Mother gives their daughter a big hug along with the father before they send their cute child to the training grounds of the kingdom. Princess Seal played with her Mini rubber ball as their seal half instructor, an Old but still cute Icey mage famous in battle and creating Ice cream treats as a side job that soon became their primary job. Princess seal began to practice with their teacher to control her Ice and water magic better while getting distracted by things any child would poke their curiousness.

Seal Mage(Magus): Now then, I know you want to play with your best friend Bubbles. But you can do that later after we do your first magic lesson in a more....creative way.

Magus would snap their fingers, and multiple platforms appeared made out of solid Ice, and many other things seemed like a training course and obstacle course.

Seal Mage(Magus): now, this is where I want you to be creative and try using your water and Ice magic to do this entire course. Now GO!

Seal Princess took her coral staff out and began going through the course with speed and average skills in using her Magic. From water blasts to using Ice sculptures to hit something across an area they are challenged to go across. Princess Seal(Upper body is human lower and body seal body) began to use her tiny brain to think of new ways to complete this challenge. The parents thanked magus for tricking their daughter to train her body and magic skills, and it impressed them how their adorable kid shows excellent promise to be a ruler of the kingdom in the future. And so the daughter kept training for hours on end before they would go to their room to take a long nap as they earned it after lots of exercises. They took their meds, grabbed their line of cute seal plushies, and fell asleep on a high-quality queen-sized bed.

Emicha felt themselves get more brilliant from the book being read to them, and they had a much, much higher mood as the Book increased it 2 fold and had her interest in reading more books increased further than before. Terra smiled brightly and used her time to make a Mini temporarily training area for Emicha.

Terra:(The Blind): Alright, Since we are done with reading. Let's get to training those abilities and bubble magic.

Emicha nods, and they would get out of the water and shake it all off before they consume a meaty human rib bone before they followed Terra to a training dummy, Terra made out of tree wood and a potato sack, so it's durable enough to withstand power from Emicha's attacks and bubble magic. Emicha is now standing 50 feet away from the dummy, and they began to wait for what to do to increase their Mana Manipulation, Mana Shaping, and Bubble magic. They showed how they trained their magic control, and it had many flaws with how it's done.

Terra: (The Blind): Now then, you only have the Book that tells the basics after a few more pages. The problem here is that you're stressing your body out. Breath in and close your eyes to sense the Mana around you. Then try to form a bubble in your hands and let the mana fire the attack forward while using as little energy as possible.

Emicha nods, and they would do what Terra said and begin to calm her mind to get it to focus as thoughts of that Book filled it for a good few minutes. A small bubble would fire at the wooden dummy, and Emicha was told to control how much Mana they would use. They began directing their Mana, shaping it, so the bubbles look different, and trying out different ways of her Bubble Magic to form, and they were dead on focusing, which was a sight to behold. Terra, meanwhile, began meditating to pass the time, and they wanted to know how they would gain the meditation passive as it's a handy skill that can help mages. Maybe when Emich is ready, they will try their best to teach the Bubble Squid child the technique in hopes they can do it.

Emicha was having lots of fun using bubble magic, so they were focused on training and most likely having fun with bubble magic which showed via their bouncing body and beaming joy from the different kinds of bubbles. Terra Sighs a little when seeing this but is not going to complain when the squid child is training(Or playing with their favorite toy.) Surprisingly, Terra had wide eyes as Emich lasted 4 fricking hours before they lay on a rock to eat some food while resting.

Terra(The Blind): You did a good job, Emicha. You might have played more, but you practiced your Magic quite well. Now rest up, and let's try exploring this second floor of this dungeon. Or, well, home. Since you lived here in this dungeon for such a small amount of time eating weaker living things that can't even fight back or die trying.

Emicha saw a large message pops up, which made that annoying Noise, and they began to get angry but calmed down with a few head pats by Terra, who noticed the annoyed child who had tentacles for the legs bottom half of their body.

You have gone through a challenging and super fun training session and a storybook! Your intelligence stat has risen to 20, and Bubble Magic gained 3 levels, Mana control gained 3 levels, Mana Shaping 4 levels(!), and constant training of your Mana. Your Mana pool skill levels up(1x), and your monster core went from Tiny to Tiny-. You can hold more Mana without exploding your body, and your Mana regeneration has improved dramatically due to your Magic training. (Good Job, Bubble Squid/Emicha, I am so proud)

Emicha would smile at her work and quick Status at her Status, which spooked Terra cause it was loud and full of positive emotions of any child(x2).
