"There are several kinds, I learned how to make them in the army. They may not be quite lethal and with large groups they're almost useless, but it will certainly slow them down and give us more time to act."

"We could also create some mechanism that makes noise for when they get close enough" Turning her gaze to the window, Yuriko added.

"I don't think it's necessary" Pointing towards the little puppy on Shizuka's legs, Kiriko continued "In all situations, Fenrir detected all the dangers. I don't know what the range of his senses will be, but I have no doubt that he could sense everything on the island easily."

"But we can't let Fenrir do everything either" Shaking her head, Saya continued "He has already been taking care of us since day one. He may be strong and he doesn't mind doing it, but we'll be no different than parasites if we keep it up. Not to mention, if we let him go it alone, at some point he might need our help and we wouldn't even know it."

"I agree, we can't leave everything to Fenrir, we'll all have to help and whoever still doesn't know how to defend themselves, we'll help them learn" Nodding, Rika turned to Fenrir and asked with some hesitation "Fenrir... that breathing you taught the girls... does it really help?"

Opening one of his eyes, Fenrir yawned and muttered "I think so... I don't know... that sphere taught it to me..."

"I guess for what it's worth" Interrupting the conversation, Kiriko continued "Even though we haven't been here that long, I really feel more energized. It's hard to explain, but now I sleep better, I get up without feeling sleepy and I hardly get tired, even though I work all day"

"Then it must have some effect" Rubbing her chin as she thinks, Saya continued "It wouldn't hurt if we all learned that. Even if it only increases our strength a little, it would certainly be a great advantage when it comes to fighting."

"It would be cool to have superpowers like in the manga" Sighing while commenting to herself, Yuuki muttered.

"Superpowers..." Raising her eyebrows, Rei who so far only observed silently, turned to Fenrir and asked with genuine curiosity "Fenrir, you don't have powers?"

"Powers?" widening his eyes, Fenrir tilted his head and asked.

"Yes, we already told you about them. Throwing fire from your mouth or being able to fly" Nodding quickly, Rei continued "Can you do something like that?"

"..." Thinking silently for a few seconds, Fenrir nodded "I think so..."

"What can you do!?" With an expectant look, Rei exclaimed.

"I don't know... I feel like I can do something... but I don't know how..."

"That sphere you're talking about didn't tell you anything?" Interrupting the conversation, Saya asked.

"Yes... he said he gave me a gift... he said I have to feel my insides to know what it is..."

"Have you tried it?"

"No..."

"Try it, maybe there is something good."

"Mn" Closing his small eyelids, Fenrir takes a deep breath and concentrates on his inner self only based on his instincts.

Instantly, his 'vision' changed, finding himself in infinite darkness as his body floated around the place.

Turning his gaze all around, Fenrir focused on the bright lights in the distance and instinctively, floated towards the spot, then reached out his hand and grabbed them.

"Wow!"

The instant he touched the lights, Rei's surprised exclamation woke him up, while all the girls looked at the objects that magically appeared in the center of the circle.

"A pipe?" Approaching the objects with some caution, Rika looked doubtfully at a rather long exquisite wooden pipe with strangeness in her gaze.

"That's an opium pipe" With the same strangeness on her face, Saya approached and looked at everything curiously "A pipe, a small wooden box and the rest is... stones?"

The contents were nothing out of this world as the girls expected. A pipe about 60 centimeters long. The pipe was undoubtedly exquisite with beautiful engravings of wolves running at full length, while a simple little box, no more than 15 centimeters, was seen beside it.

But the next contents were the most disappointing, there were 7 circular stones of different colors.

The stones did not look magical nor did they have bright lights to make it special. They really don't look any different than simple stones with a little paint on them.

Reaching out her hand cautiously, Saya touched a silver stone and took it in her hands, then looked at it from all sides and commented "It looks like an ordinary stone-"

But before she finished speaking, a blue-colored stone suddenly levitated and flew towards Saya, quickly embedding itself in her forehead and from one second to the next, the stone disappeared.

Instantly, Saya's eyes became misty, while all the girls were stunned by what happened.

"Saya!" shouting in panic, Yuriko rushed over to her daughter and looked at her with concern, touching Saya's forehead with increasing desperation.

***

"W-where am I?" staring at the seemingly infinite sky-blue space, Saya stammered in panic.

-Welcome hostess-

Startled by the sudden image that appeared in front of her, Saya stammered, "W-what are you?"

-Welcome hostess-

But the image did not answer her, let alone change.

Taking a deep breath after a few seconds of panic, Saya closed her eyes and began to regain her calm, only to open them again and look at the screen doubtfully.

Having read a good amount of manga, Saya raised her hand and touched the screen, causing the image to change instantly.

-Welcome [Takagi Saya], I am an auxiliary entity personally created for you. My job is to guide you and help you understand what is incomprehensible to any human in your world-

"Understand the incomprehensible?" Raising her eyebrows, Saya asked "Can you speak?"

-I manage to understand her questions and can answer them systematically, but unfortunately I don't have the intelligence to carry on a conversation of my own, let alone speak freely-

Nodding with understanding, Saya asked "Do you have a store or something similar?"

-Sadly not-

"What exactly can you help me with?"

You are reading story The adventures of a savage at novel35.com

-I can answer certain questions depending on the situations, but I can help you in many different ways once you complete your awakening-

"I can't quite understand you... you just answer questions?"

-For now, yes-

"And what good does that do me..." Frowning slightly, Saya asked "How much can you answer me?"

-It all depends on your question-

"Can you give me the blueprints of a superior technology?"

-No, but I can help you create it, you only have to ask me your scientific questions and I can help you complement your research-

"Oh..." Gaining some understanding of her usefulness, Saya continued "Do you have any guidelines of what you can answer and what you can't answer?"

-Unfortunately no. At some point I will be able to answer certain things and at other times I won't, none of this is in my power-

"What are the criteria you are basing this on?"

-I don't have access to the criteria, I'm sorry-

"*Sigh* It certainly has its uses, but I feel quite disappointed" Rubbing her forehead with a bitter smile, Saya thought for a few seconds and asked "Do I have any gifts or starter packs?"

-You have access to 3 questions-

"I can ask anything and you will answer it?"

-Exactly, but you have to ask them right now and you won't be able to come back to reality until you do it-

"Mmmm..." Thinking for a few minutes, Saya finally spoke "If what I think is correct, one of those stones flew at me... what are those stones?"

While Saya could ask about the great secrets of existence or any similar existential questions, she well knows that none of that matters right now.

Her situation is extremely out of the ordinary and the biggest priority right now, is to be able to understand everything that is happening and can happen around her.

-Are you sure you want to ask about that?-

"One of those stones must already be in me and that brought me here, I need to know what it is so I can act accordingly" Nodding decisively, Saya nodded.

-Those stones are gifts given by a superior entity, inside it brings essences of bloodlines. I come from the stone that you consumed and each stone has its own destined bearer-

"7 stones... 7 bearers... we are 7 girls... I see, the gift was not for Fenrir, it is for us..." Quickly understanding the whole situation, Saya did not hesitate any longer and asked another question "What bloodlines do they contain and how is the assimilation process you speak of?"

-The 7 stones bring 7 essences of different races and all races have their variations, but the essential is the following: Angel, Demon, Succubus, Dragon, Phoenix, High human, Spirit Wolf and Moon Fox. The assimilation of all these races will entail a wait of 9 months in a dormant state-

"7 essences... 7 races... which one will I be?" Frowning deeply, Saya thought 'I can't use my last question on that... I already understand how important the situation is and there is a possibility that my race type will be answered without the need of this benefit...'

After several minutes of consideration, Saya gritted her teeth and asked her last question, something that has been gnawing at her thoughts and curiosity for some time now "What or who is Fenrir? I am talking about the Fenrir I know and with whom I live"

-Fenrir is a being from another world sent to yours to seek his own happiness. His race comes from an ancient being that was eliminated from existence, but thanks to a superior entity, Fenrir became its bearer.

Fenrir's race has advantages and disadvantages. It can only survive by eating the vitality of existential beings, be it a person, an animal, a planet or even a universe, but the more vitality it consumes, the more it needs, something that could cause a catastrophe in existence itself if its hunger is not controlled.

But taking this into consideration, the superior being gave him two objects to control himself [The indestructible pipe] and [The eternal box]. Their uses are simple, the pipe gives combustion automatically and as its name suggests, it is indestructible. While the eternal box automatically refills the contents of its interior no matter how many you take out.

The contents were already specified with [The mist of existence], an extremely rare herb in existence that serves to satisfy any spiritual or biological need-

"Wow..." Blinking in a daze as she read the entire answer, Saya scratched her neck nervously and whispered "Eating universes..."

"How damn crazy..." Being overcome by situations she previously thought impossible, Saya giggled foolishly and rubbed her forehead in a daze.

-The 3 questions have been exhausted, do you wish to start with assimilation?-

"..." Staring at the message in silence for a few long minutes, Saya assimilated all the information and sighed, then looked sideways and asked "May I know which race I will have?"

-Valid question, your race will be High-Human-

"A high-human... what benefits does it have?"

-It has many advantages, but the most notable are: Superior intelligence, superior strength, almost unlimited potential, better regeneration and a minimum life expectancy in 500 years-

"Wow..." With a new twinkle in her eye, Saya continued "And disadvantages?"

-Like all humans, your strength will have to be built based on methods you don't have at the moment. Be it magic, Qi, Ki, Cultivation, Mana, among others. Although your strength is superior to that of any ordinary human, compared to other races such as dragons, you are no different than an insect-

"I see... I have an increase in strength, but it is only considerable with humans... does that mean that the person who has the dragon bloodline will automatically be stronger without any effort?"

-Exactly, the bearer of the dragon race will finish his assimilation being much stronger than you, and his strength can also increase as time goes by-

"So it seems that being human doesn't have so many advantages... is that really so?"

-Although the dragon is stronger, getting stronger will take them thousands of years, while a High-Human with good techniques could have the strength of 100 young dragons in just 100 years or less-

[A/N: Damn how hard it was to edit and translate this chapter. I had to re-edit it at least 7 times to make the translation make sense, but maybe there is still something wrong or not understood. If that happens, don't hesitate to ask for comments, I'll be sure to answer as soon as possible.]
