Chapter 1: 1 | Today just can’t get worse

My name is Jenny, a normal, average-looking woman aged 19. Currently, I am heading home while being really depressed. Why you may ask? I just got rejected by my crush! Today at college, I finally confessed to this one handsome guy in the same year as me after class.

"Umm... H-Hey David, (oh my god this is so awkward), I-I kinda have a c-crush on you... Can you go out with me?" (Jenny)

"Uhh... I don't know how to say this... but I already have a girlfriend outside of college. I want to stay faithful, I'm sorry." (David)

I have been crushing on him for the past 2 years! All the build up and anxiety for this moment was all for nothing!

The college I am studying in is in the city. It is currently 5 in the afternoon, vehicles are all around the roads of downtown, with plenty of people going back and forth. It is easy to get swept up by the tides of people from the afternoon rush. Between the tall skyscrapers, I can see the beautiful setting sun, a fantastic view of city meshed with nature. It gives me a short relief from reality, letting me forget all my worries for just a moment as I enjoy the scenery.

Then, it happened. All of a sudden, everything start fading to white rapidly. What the hell is happening! What? Who? How? Huh?

"What the hell!! What's happening?" (Jenny)

No response. Okay, this is really freaky, what the absolute heck is happening? Everything around me suddenly disappeared and now I'm in this weird white void. I'm still here so I think I'm still alive maybe? Maybe not. From all the animes I've watched, this is possibly a cliche 'you died, but you get to reincarnate into a different world with cheats!' scenario. Okay Jenny, get yourself together. Panicking is not going to help in the slightest. First, assess your surroundings and come up with what to do.

I look around, only to find more nothingness.

Okay... that was certainly... very unhelpful. What can I even do? Am I actually trapped here and will remain trapped here for however long it'll take for some kind of godly being to find me? Maybe I should try to find an exit myself. But... how do I even move?

I tried to walk. It was surprisingly easy to do.

Oh, this is really weird. I can apparently walk on nothingness like it's a floor? I guess I can start searching around.

I am too scared to even speak. If I can wet myself, I would already have done so. What is this huge thing!! How is a snake of this size even possible?! This is outrageous, I must be dreaming! Yes, that's it, this is just a daydream!

"Ah, it seems like you have forgotten your purpose after trillions of years of being sealed. Doesn't matter, your destiny is already fixed in place. The whiteness around me receeds, turning into darkness. The last thing I feel before losing consciousness is the feeling of being dragged somewhere.
