A voice interrupted the two, and the duo turned their heads to see Anna standing there. As for the door, it obviously couldn't stop her, and was smashed into smithereens.
"Tsk.." Derek clicked his tongue as he withdrew his aura. He then looked at Anna, and scratched his cheek while avoiding her eyes, "It seems you were right. He passed the test."
Anna glared at him.
She was actually in the training hall with Derek. And, Derek was a guy who firmly believed in gender equality.
So, he had beaten the sh*t out of her before she ran away on hearing that Wilson was here. That was the reason she was in that state.
"Anyway, see you later. Explain the situation to him. If he isn't a petty guy, I am sure he wouldn't mind. And, if he does, then he can find me anytime." Derek laughed as he gave Wilson a look, and then hurriedly left.
With him gone, only Wilson and Anna were left standing there.
There was a strange silence between them.
They had been hoping for this day to come in such a long time. They had tons of things to talk about, and yet when the moment came, they couldn't think of what to say.
Anna looked at him, and when she saw his condition, tears came up into her eyes. She immediately took a step and leapt into Wilson's arms while breaking out in tears.
"I am sorry.."
Her first sentence was surprising. But, Wilson didn't mind. He just tightly hugged Anna as if he was never going to let go of her again.
Anna was apologising to Wilson because she had tested him. If she wanted, she could have broken the door at any time. But, she didn't.
Even though she believed in Wilson, that fear still seemed to have grown somewhere in her heart, and that was the reason she had waited to see the outcome.
"What are you apologising for? If even you begin to apologise, where does that leave me?" Wilson asked her with a smile as he wiped the tears in her eyes with a gentle touch of his fingers.
"Those words he said were all lies..he was just trying to test-" Anna tried to explain to Wilson. Even though Wilson had said he didn't care for anything, she still wanted to explain it to him.
But, before she could complete her sentence, Wilson stopped below and kissed her, shutting her mouth up.
When their lips separated, he looked at her, and spoke, "I will love you, I will believe you and I will care for you. Forever.."
There was no hesitation in his eyes.
And, it melted Anna. She tried to hold herself back, her lips quivered. But, she couldn't do it in the end. She broke out in tears, her cries resounding across the hall floor.
But, luckily, the floor above the 7th one was not open for business. They were instead private place of the owner. Hence, there was no one present around.
She cried in Wilson's arms for a good while. Wilson didn't ask her to stop, he himself was having trouble controlling himself.
…
Derek, who was still on his way towards the lower floor, could hear the sound of her cries, and just shook his head.
"It seems there won't be any trouble, Miss. He was a decent guy." He informed someone through his transmitter.
"Well, it's fine then. If he dares to break the heart of my disciple. I would have done the same to his.." A feminine voice came from the transmitter, and it sent chills down Derek's spice.
He could only bitterly shake his head.
This Lady of Leviathan, was not someone you wanted to mess with.
He had learned it during his stay here in the past months.
…
Scarlet House, Ocien.
"There is still no news of the location of the Previous Lady of the Scarlet House." Max sat in his room with a frown on his face.
For now things had turned calm.
The Old man Sun apparently wanted to sit back and see how much Ocien had deteriorated. Hence, he was planning to play the pig for now.
So, Max had gone back to his search for Wilson's mother and they had ended up back at starting place.
There was no clue of her at all.
"Did they kill her?" Naze asked casually and Max's face twitched.
"I don't think so." Max shook his head. If anything happened to their mother, Erina and Wilson should be aware of it.
"It seemed the only way to get to the lady is to have Erina return to Ocean," Max muttered to himself.
After all, Wilson couldn't return as he was exiled or taken a voluntary exile. Not to mention, he was in Ishtar and should have met Anna by now.
He didn't want to disturb them.
Besides, he wanted to introduce Erina to the Old man Sun. He no longer had any doubts regarding him. He seemed like a trustworthy man.
But, they had to see if they could convince Erina to return. Not to mention, there were other people as well who could object to it. After all, the Competitions were going on.
Max hoped that the Ishtar event would turn out to be something that Erina couldn't participate in.
If that happened there shouldn't be much trouble calling her back as the next event was in Ocien.
….
"We are going forward with the plan, call Erina back." Talia calmly stated as he looked at the servant.
"There is still time till until the Ocien event.." Travis, who was in the room, appeared a bit confused with it.
"Do you want to act right at the moment? We need to push her into the corner for her to lose it." Tali looked at Travis.
"What about that boyfriend of hers?" Travis asked.
"Well, he will come for Ocien event, won't he? Let's see how he would react to the situation.. It doesn't matter much though, I will get what I want either way."
