"Are the kids safe?!!" Arnold arrived in front of the Supervisory room which was now razed into the ground and grabbed the collar of one of the formation masters in anger.
The Headmaster of various Academies, and guests from different Noble Houses had all come to check the situation too. This was a serious issue after all. Even though only a few of the students were in trouble now, it could have been all of them if it happened a little earlier.
"Please calm down, we are already preparing to restore the formation and rescue the students trapped inside…" Rufus immediately came ahead, and tried to assure everyone about the matter.
"I only want to know about one thing. And, that's about the safety of the students. Are they fine or not?" Ander looked at Rufus as the air around him turned cold, and everyone felt a chill in the air.
"I can't say anything as of yet…" Rufus refused to comment on it. After all, he knew that his honest thoughts would only make the situation worse.
Ander was almost about to lose it when the Headmaster of the Ishtar Academy stepped in to calm him down. They had been friends for a long time, and hence he was in a position to do what others couldn't.
….
On the other side, Inside the competition ground..
"My head hurts.." Victor groaned in pain as he slowly got up while holding his head. He couldn't properly remember what had happened, but the explosion sure had sent him flying away.
He slowly suppressed the pain, and looked around trying to find where he was, but the scenes around him shocked in. He was in some forest area, and it seemed like Orena found outside human territory.
But, what was creepy about this was that there were several cracks visible in the air at different places, and there was even a hole in the sky as if it was a mirror which had shattered at some place.
These black spots seemed to bend the space around them, and a terrifying fluctuation was coming from them. It definitely made it so that no one would want to get close to them.
Aside from that, there was one more thing that was a bit weird. Some places inside the forest still seemed to carry that look of desert from the competition before. It seemed like some part of the formations had not suffered from the explosion and were still working.
"I can't see anyone else as well.." Victor muttered with a frown on his face. It seemed that they were separated.
At this moment, Bahamut's message came in, asking about his situation.
<> He replied back.
<> He asked while maintaining his cool.
<>
Victor informed him about his surroundings as he began to slowly move around in hopes of finding something new that might help him in getting out of the place.
But, Bahamut soon faced another problem. This time the participants weren't taken to the battleground, and instead were directly transported there from the Academy.
<>
Victor definitely understood what Bahamut meant, and he immediately began to look for hints.
"Found it.." He smiled when he found a little plant around a bush, this kind of plant was something which was very specific to Orena near Ishtar region.
<>
<>
…
Bahamut immediately got up after he confirmed a few things from Victor. He then tactfully messaged Uncle giant who had similarly gone to check on things ahead like the expert from various other families.
<>
A reply soon came, and it seemed that they weren't about to offer much information and just go on handling the situation on their own.
'Are they afraid of something for not divulging this information?' Bahamut frowned, but he couldn't understand what these people were thinking.
'I don't care about their thought process, I need to help them out..' He shook his head, and then told Uncle giant what he had found through Victor. And, he even asked him to anonymously spread this findings to everyone else as well.
After all, the more people they had, the easier it would be to find their location in the Orena. Not to mention, they still lacked manpower here when it came in comparison to these various houses.
….
"Sir, it seems the locations of the battleground had been leaked.." A person came running towards Rufus when he heard about the news, and how various powers were sending a search team out.
"How is this possible?" A frown immediately appeared on Rufus's face. He knew the information was classified. There was no way for it to leak. And, this was an important matter for them.
After all, it was a hidden fact that the Orena could be called the territories of Demons.
Their actions were very risky, and hence they had acted so secretly.
After all, it was an unsaid agreement between the two sides that they were not to intrude in each other's lands.
For common unknown people, there were exceptions, as long as they didn't want to make things worse. Of course these were during peaceful times, now that things were escalating, it sure was different.
