Chapter 161: Pearls

After I finished sorting the storages, I took out a few monster meat slices and started to eat them.

I am feeling famished, but I wanted to wait till I take a bath and eat when I am completely clean but smelling that refreshing fragrance from the waterfall, I know I might not come out of it soon.

So I decided to eat it before I took a dip into the waterfall that was giving me a dreamy feeling. Soon I ate enough that my hunger satiated and looked at the waterfall for a few moments before I started to take out my clothes at breakneck speed.

As I took out my clothes, I did not waste any time and jumped into the waterfall, just as I did, I've overcome with a very strong feeling.

I felt all the pores of my body opening up and mind numbing Refreshness drilling inside them, all the stress, a strain that was present in my body got evaporated in an instant.

"This is Heaven," I muttered, this water is heavenly, it is hundred ten, hundred times better than the water in the stream which is likely coming from this waterfall.

This water is really magical, and not only because of stress-relieving properties but also healing ones too, I could feel it entering inside me and healing whatever tiny injuries Ive in my body.

Such function is simply miraculous; as normally, these tiny injuries do nothing, but they became a big barrier in the times of advancing. People spent thousands, millions of Gold heal these tiny injuries that their own body's healing ability and potions would neglect.

As I looked at this Miraculous Effect of water and the caves made of the Soul Isolating Stones, I started to change my mind about handling the map once I had returned, not because I am greedy or anything.

I am very aware that with my current power, this Cavern does not possess any value to me despite it being worth so much that even Demigod will salivate over it, but handling over the map would not be wise decisions too.

This Cavern has value to even Demigod Families and if I give them a map, it will I who will be killed first as in the current circumstances, as my value is nothing compared to this cave, it will be better for them to kill me to stop the secret of this cavern from spreading.

So it is in my best interest that I do not tell anyone about this cavern until I have the power to protect it or my value becomes greater than it, so revealing it would make any harm come to my way.

I stayed still in the waterfall for a while, enjoying its refreshness before I started to take a small swim around it. The water is heavenly if I did not swim till I feel satisfied then I would let it down.

I continued swimming around for a while before I started to go under, the pond is deeper than I had expected, but I am a good swimmer, and with this supernatural body, I could swim deeper.

As I go deeper, I noticed that the refreshness of the water was getting denser and denser, which made me curious about its origin as till now I had thought it is water from above that brought the refreshness but no I was wrong, it looked like the source of refreshness is down.

I continued going deeper and deeper before coming out to take a breath before going deep inside as I was doing a wonderful idea that came into my mind, and that is to create an air pocket with my soul energy, which could supply me with the air which I needed to go deeper.

I did not waste time and create an air pocket that is the size of me, and it worked better than I had expected in the water.

With the problem of air being solved, I started to swim deeper and deeper as I got deeper refreshingness in the water increased so much that it began to overwhelm me, but I fought that overwhelming and swam deeper, till I finally saw the floor of the pool and reason likely for the refreshingness of the water.

There is a huge formation carved on the floor of the pool, which is shining faintly, and inside that formation are the pearls, I don't know if they can be called pearls as the biggest pearl is bigger than me.

There are nearly a thousand Pearls inside the formation; the biggest is bigger than me while the smallest is the size of my thumbnail.

The pearls are placed in the Concentric Circle formations, with the biggest pearl in the center and surrounding it are lines of pearls that go from the biggest to smallest.

Seeing the pearls, I know they are the source of Refreshness, so I tried to swim closer to them.

Everything was fine at first until I reached the ten meters distance from the pearls, I felt repulsion at ten meters and as I swan closer the repulsion got stronger till I reached the 8-meter distance from the Pearls from there I could not swim any further.

I tried many times, but it was to no avail, the repulsion was so strong that I could not get closer to it no matter how much I tried, I even tried to swim inside from the different spots, but the result was the same which disappointed me very much.

I was hoping to take some pearls hoping to take them back, so I can have the refreshing water as much as I want, but it looks like my wish won't come true as I could not swim closer to the formation.

Feeling disappointed, I was about to swim back up when my gaze fell on the air bubble, in which half of the air had already been used by me. As I looked at the air bubble, an idea flashed into my mind, and that idea is using my soul energy.

Unlike the body, the soul energy is incorporeal; I might be able to get some result if I tried the soul energy, I thought and started to extend one string of soul energy toward the pearls.
