“One of the Half-Blood Orc who had captured me boasted that his brother is Vice Head of Chamelion City, who had been sent to assist the Orc in attacking Hilnet City,” I said softly and as I expected it stopped Ramon on his track.

“Did he said something?” Ramon asked with a solemn face as he asked that I felt him releasing its soul energy around us specific fashion, which seemed to isolate us from the rest of the forest.

I nodded to his question and stated quite for a few seconds before speaking, “The day they captured me, it told me that Orcs had made a Deal with the Monster Lord and in three weeks, that Monster Lord will release the Monster Tide on the Hilton City and Zares City at the same time.” I said.

Hearing that expression of his flickered a little before they returned to normal, I had thought he would have a more significant change of expression, but there was barely any change on his face.

“Tell me everything you have heard from it, do not leave a single word behind,” I said with the same serious voice as earlier, I heaved a small sigh of relief in my mind seeing he still had an interest.

I started telling him what that Orc Blood had said; I told him everything, every word it boasted including it getting a secret method after handling me to its brother, it took a while before I finished telling him everything.

He silently heard everything without asking any questions. After I finished telling him everything, he remained silent with a distant look in his eyes as if he is thinking about something.

We traveled silently and saw the silhouette of the city appeared in the distance; we quietly walked toward it and passed through the gates after we confirmed our
Identity.

As we passed the gate, I found guards were staring at me; first, I thought it was because of my beauty but soon shook my head at that thought as there was an intense attraction there, but there is also something else too.

That reason I had realized after exiting the gate; on the entrance of the gate, there were posters if mine sticking with the big bold ‘MISSING’ letter. Anyone who would go out of the city would notice these posters.

Half an hour later, we reached the manor gate, and I had immediately become the center of attention. All of the people looked at me and started to whisper something.

Seeing Ramon and me, many retainers who were training in the Garden of the Manor came toward us, one of them is Shiela. I looked at all the retainers coming toward us, but I did not spot Isabell in them, which made me disappointed.

“Lilith, where were you? We have scoured the whole forest for you, you know.” she with genuine worry as she hugged me. “I was abducted,” I said, hearing that all of them became silent.

“Lilith, go rest in your chambers, I will go talk to Lord Auturous.” Said Ramon cutting off the further conversation, hearing that I couldnt help but smile inside me ruefully.

His words may have been polite, but meaning of his words clear, I have to stay inside my chambers till he asked me out; this is a clear house arrest, and I am not a bit surprised by it, and I am also very aware that this house arrest is not going to end soon.

The information I had provided too shocking and could be a trap set by the Orcs, and I may be willing and unwilling part of it. The best scenario I could hope for that the information I had provided is being accurate; otherwise, I would be in a hell lot of trouble.

I would not be in such a scenario if I did not tell him about what Half-Blood Orc had said, I would be still be suspected but not this much. They would have verified my story and kept an eye on me but not have restricted my movements, at least not in the city.

But with the information Ive revealed, I had to be under the tight watch until the information I have provided verified.

“Give me you Dem bags,” Ramon said as we reached the door of my chambers, I handed him my dem bag without hesitation which he started scan with his powerful soul power.

“Here.” He returned my Dem bag a minute later and opened the door for me. I nodded than you at him and entered the familiar room, as I entered it, I found the door closed behind me.

I know that Ramon would place his trusted retainers on the door, just be secure, but I did not mind it; if it were anyone in his place, including my father, he would have done the same thing. It is a common thing a cautious and intelligent person would do when they come across something like this.

“Finally Safe,” I said as I entered my room, I did not let this horse arrest affect me, whether the news is real or not, I don’t care. I am only thinking for a moment, and I know this moment, I am safe here.

The first thing I did after I enter the room is removing the battlesuit off my body and walking into the shower. I feel quite tired, not physically, but mentally, the whole knight had been extremely stressful for me.

I had alert every moment, not letting my guard down even for a moment, even when Ramon came I was careful, fearing we might get attack by the powerful Orc, as there are many Orcs that even Ramon could not fight against.

I entered the shower and cold water cascade down, though water though not be compared to water in the cave when it fell on my body, I still felt stress leaving my body.

I stayed in the shower for half an hour before I walked out of it; I dried myself completely with a towel and laid on the bed naked and fell asleep a few seconds after that.
