“This will be our base in Hilnet city. Thank you, Sir Rogers, for offering us your Manor,” said Ramon to the Middle-aged man who had worry and relief written all over his face.

He is at the Peak Count but an average one as I could sense its battle power. Though his battle power is slightly stronger than the all the elites here, every elite could still hold him back without getting much injured.

In front of us is sprawling Manor, though this manor is big as Ramon’s in the Blackstaff city. It is not as elegant as it, but It is still Manor, and I am happy to live here than the barracks.

The man who is Ramon is talking to Dryfus Rogers, one of the big shots of the city who had generously offered his manor for us to stay as other big shots did to other Scions.

Soon we got the tour of the Manor, and the only thing I have to say is Rogers is an Art fanatic as there is a shit load of art pieces all over the Manor, some of them even able to catch my fancy.

“You all take a rest, we will convey meeting in the Afternoon,” said Ramon looking at sun which had started to come out, we all nodded and moved toward our the rooms that have been chosen by us, Shiela and Isabell’s rooms are right beside mine, just a step away.

I wanted to sleep badly, but I did not. I first went to the bathroom quick a quick shower before lying on the bed to sleep just wearing the belt of the battlesuit.

It is bright outside when I woke up, when I looked at the time I found that I had slept for four whole hours. I did not waste any time and me out of bed before going to the restroom to freshen up and started performing.

Due to time constraints, I finished yoga quickly and munched on a few delicious beast meat strips before starting on the soul strings right away. I have already made the seven strings, and before the meeting in the afternoon, I wanted to create one string at the least.

I started to create the soul strings, and maybe because of the fresh mind or the proficiency I had gained yesterday, I finished quite quickly with the eight-string and started on the nine lines without waiting.

I had just finished ninth string and about to start on the tenth when I heard the knock on my door.

“Let’s go, the owner of this Mansion had put up quite a feast for us,” Shiela said as I opened the door. I could feel the fiery gaze of Isabell as she discreetly checked out of every inch of my body.

A few minuits later, I came back with my full get up and walked out of my room with them. Soon we reach the huge Kitchen of the Manor and find most of the elite are already there eating.

There is even a special room there written blood. It seemed like the owner of the Manor is well versed in hospitality as he prepared the Blood room for Vampires.

I could see some elite going there now and then. We took a seat on the huge table and servants started to serve us without us saying the word, we talked while we eat and usually talked on lighter topics, but no matter how much we wand, the conversation would also come to the current condition of ours and what our fates would be in the battle.

“Lilith, do you want to take a sip?” Shiela asked. I shook my head, saying no, “Well, you should do it sometimes; it tastes amazing.” Said sheila as she walked toward the blood room with Isabell.

Despite being a vampire, I never have drunk blood, though I got many chances, I always got shied away from it due to my reservation, these reservations are from the earth, so unless I got over those reservations, I will not drink any which I think would take quite some time.

Few minutes they came back from taking a sip, and we walked out of Kitchen toward walked toward the conference as there are fifteen minutes to remain for the meeting to start.

When we reach the meeting room, only two people were sitting there, but as time passed, more and more people came till finally, Ramon came in with Sir Aron at the final minuit.

“You must all know how precarious the condition of Hilnet is?” Ramon asked, seeing the numbers of Orc we have encountered; even an idiot would able to guess how bad the state of the Hilnet city is.

“Well, it’s become even worse, from the emergency letter we received just an hour ago, the half-blood mercenaries of Chamelion city also joined the Orcs,” he said, and all of the elite shuddered when they heard that, some of them even became pale.

Chameleon City, Chameleon city, right Chameleon city! Now I remembered, and when I thought what it represents, my face also turned a little pale.

From my limited knowledge, I know that Chemelion City is a significant force, though it is not as powerful Six Alliance or Ajholk Consortium, it is still quite powerful that no one dares to fight them.

Chamelion city is the city of Half, 80% half Orcs or quarter orcs while the rest 20% were half-vampire, half dwarfs, and other races. Chamelion controls a tiny area, but that is enough for them as they are mercenaries; the city just acts as their home base.

They are sellsword, and to employ them, the Ajholk Consortium would have paid a very high price; the mercenaries of the chameleon city are known to strong and vicious and fight for any side for money.

“They had sent one Brigade of those half-blood mercenaries to the Hilnet city, and by our estimate that they will reach Orc camp near hilnet city by evening,” said Ramon, which again affected the atmosphere of the whole room.
