3rd Person POV

Ten. Ten minutes have passed since Kazama left to find Drew. Kai was left alone in darkness for a while. He knew nothing would happen, but he was still afraid. Darkness still shrouded the hallway.

Step! Step! Step!

Footsteps echoed throughout the hall. Kai pointed the flashlight in the direction of the sound with no hesitation. It was Hyuri. He made it back.

"Hyuri you're back!" Kai shouted.

Hyuri said nothing. He walked past him, not speaking a word. He kept going. Kai didn't know what he was doing.

"H-hey, Hyuri," Kai placed his hand on his shoulder.

Hyuri froze. He turned his head and only his head toward Kai.

"Let go..."

Kai felt uneasy. He felt totally different. He began to wonder what happened with him and the other guy. Hyuri took Kai's arm off his shoulder. He walked away.

"What the hell happened?" Kai said out loud. "Hey! Answer me, dammit!"

It was no use. Hyuri had already left. Too far to hear Kai.

"That bastard!"

***

Hyuri moved along in the dark, searching for Drew's dorm. Suddenly, he heard the faint sound of talking. He didn't know what they were saying, but he knew it was them. Hyuri walked closer to the door.

Knock! Knock!

He knocked on the door. He waited a few seconds. Anthony opened the door. Hyuri grabbed his neck and slammed him to the ground.

"Hyuri?! What the hell are you doing?" Kazama shouted.

Hyuri stopped and stood up. He looked around the room. He didn't know what to say.

"Well, since this was an attack on your behalf. We have no choice but to declare a small-scale war. Hope you're ready Katsuyo," Drew told him.

"Wait what?!"

Kazama quickly grabbed Hyuri and dragged him out. He didn't say a word. He just left.

***

They were in Kazama's dorm now. Kazama paced around the room swiftly. To say he was angry is an understatement.

"I-I'm sorry Kaz-"

"You dumbass! You just started a whole battle between you and the North Domain."

Hyuri truly was sorry. He didn't know they had worked it out before he walked in.

"I can try my best to help out, but I'm not sure if that'll work. I don't know how long it'll last. Maybe a few days at most."

Hyuri felt sorry. He really was. He didn't know how to express it though.

"Just go back to your dorm. We'll figure it out eventually."

He silently walked out of the room. He walked the dark halls and out of the building. The walk was short, just a few minutes. He hung his head low as he walked through the cold outside. This small-scale war was caused by him. Hyuri had to make up for it but didn't know how.

"You look depressed."

Hyuri looked up. All he saw was the person's figure.

"It's me, Aiko. What happened?"

"A-Aiko...," he ran to her and hugged her without realizing it.

She smiled and hugged him back. She knew he was feeling horrible.

"What happened?"

Hyuri gathered the courage to tell her about the war which he caused.

"I did something horrible... I'll explain everything inside."

Hyuri's POV

I was just sitting on my bed, Aiko to my right.

"Okay, so can you explain what you did?"

"Okay. Okay. Whenever Kazama and I went to go settle that strange boy thing. I broke a pact. Now our side and another side are at battle."

I didn't think she'd understand. So I just hid under my blanket. I am weak. I just wished this would end as soon as possible. I felt Aiko hug me. I peaked my head out. She was asleep. I had to end this battle as soon as possible. I can't let it get out of hand.

It was noon. Naturally, I'd be at lunch with my friends. No. Not today. I had started a war between the North and East domains. So I had plenty of problems coming my way.

***

The room was filled with students. Every one of them heard the news. I and one other student stood on the platform. We drew our blades, glaring at one another. No matter how damn hard this fight may be. I had to win!

He made the first move, a swift one at that. I quickly glanced at his stats. His speed was 50. He was quite slow. I had the advantage. His eyes glowing with an intent... the intent to kill. But why?

"You're done for kid!" He yelled as he got closer.

What is this feeling? The feeling of adrenaline? The same feeling I had when I faced Gabriel last night. He was finally in front of me. His blade aimed for my right arm.

"You're aiming for my arm," I said aloud. "Sorry but it's mine."

Clang!

I hit the sword out of his hands. Nothing else to protect him with. He was done for.

"Let me wrap this up for you."

I slashed at his chest. His uniform was cut in the shape of an X. Blood ran down from his chest and ruined the uniform. I could hardly hear due to the cheers of the crowd. But, I knew I had won.

"Who's next?" I asked confidently.

An older boy about the age of sixteen walked onto the platform. He was at least eight inches taller than me. I had to look up a bit to see his face.

"I'm gonna kill you. So might as well stop holding back!" He exclaimed.

His stats told me otherwise. His power and strength were in the low-forties. Why is he talking to me like I was a kid? Now, I had no outside emotions other than winning. I didn't know when this war would be over, but I had to fight. There was no other way. The guy ran at me full speed, an ax in his left hand.

"Get over here kid! You're done for!"

I sighed as I sliced his right arm off his body. He swung the ax at my head.

Clang!

I parried it and cut an X shape in his chest. His eyes were wide. He was angry.

"You little-"

I pressed my blade against his neck. I stared at him. I could feel some sort of energy radiating off me.

"This is your time to forfeit. Or I'll have your head," I told him in a low but stern voice.

"Okay! Okay! I quit!" He pleaded.

I removed the blade from his neck

"Then leave!" I shouted.

I looked around. It seemed no one wanted to go next. But as soon as I sheathed my sword.

"Me next!" A guy shouted.

I turned to face him. He smirked at me. His hair was decent length and blue. His eyes were the same color. He walked onto the platform. But he was different. His weapon was a bow.

"Heya! My name is Yajitaka Aoi!"

I have never heard of him. I checked his stats. He was in the same domain as me. So why did he wanna fight?

"I'm Hyuri Katsuyo."

I unsheathed my sword. I stood in my usual stance. My left hand in front of me and my right hand behind me, my legs the same. With the left one in front. He grabbed his bow from behind his back. He was interesting... I wonder who will win.

"Water Resonance: Tri-Shot!"

An arrow entirely made up of Water Aura formed in his hand. He shot it.

"It's only water."

I swung my sword and hit the arrow. But instead of it splattering it turned into two more. Those two hit my legs. There was one problem. They were solid. I could see a smirk forming on Yajitaka's face.

"What's so funny?" I asked him.

"My arrows are water yes. But since it's my Aura. So I can make it solid."

This fight was getting interesting. I ran at him with only one plan in mind. Slash and win!

"Wanna sword fight? Come on then!"

He snapped his bow in half. The two halves immediately transformed into swords. Heh. This'll be fun for sure. I leaped at him, my blade in position to strike down.

Clang!

Our swords collide. Sparks flying. I push him back slowly, but he didn't back down. A stalemate. Not for long though! I conjured a sword in my empty hand. I use my extra blade to knock me back and away from the stalemate.

"Bring it on!"
