Akiro walked through the halls of the Northern Domain. He was on his way to get Hyuri alone. But...

"What're you up to, Akiro?"

It was him. Kaizu Kirigashi. Akiro paused. He faced Kaizu. He knew where this was going. Kaizu stopped leaning against the wall and stood up. Akiro jumped back.

"You read my mind, huh?" Kaizu asked.

"I did. Let's get it over with."

Kaizu unsheathed his sword. Akiro conjured his stone katana. They both had a cold look on their faces.

"Guess I have to take you down again," Kaizu sighed.

"You can try."

***

Kazama sat in silence at his desk eating a cup of ramen. He scrolled through the school forums. It was the usual topic "North and East war". He was tired of it. It should've died down. The dorm door was slammed open. The loud noise caused Kazama to almost choke on the noodles.

"What is it, Kai?" Kazama asked angrily.

"A message."

"Message? From who?" Kazama was curious.

"Kaizu Kirigashi from the Eastern Domain."

"Kirigashi? What does he want?"

Kazama would have never expected a message from him.

"Hyuri's in danger. Again."

Kazama's face filled with worry.

"He said Akiro Hijame and Drew Casey planned on ambushing him," Kai continued. "Kaizu is currently stalling Akiro."

Kazama quickly ate his noodles. He put his shoes on and ran out the door.

"This damn school isn't normal!"

***

Kaizu picked up Akiro by his neck. Akiro struggled and struggled to get loose.

"You will not touch Hyuri..."

"Why? It's not like you're still friends with him!"

Kaizu threw Akiro against the wall on the opposite side of the hallway.

"YOU WILL NOT LAY A DAMN FINGER ON HIM!!" Kaizu yelled.

He punched Akiro in his throat. Akiro collapsed. He coughed as he grasped his throat with his hand. Kaizu lifted him by his neck again.

"Do you understand?"

Akiro chuckled and tried to make a sarcastic remark, but Kaizu wasn't having it. He threw open one of the windows in the hallway. They were on the second floor. If Akiro were to be dropped he'd be severely injured.

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" Kaizu yelled again.

Before Akiro could speak Kaizu threw him out the window. He yelled until he hit the grass. He was lucky there was grass. Kaizu calmed down.

"Hey! Kirigashi!"

"Kazama, you're a bit late."

He glanced and saw the window open. He peered out of it and saw Akiro lay there grabbing his knee.

"I took care of Akiro. All you need to do is handle Drew and this war should be over."

Kazama nodded and ran off to Drew's dorm.

***

Kazama charged into the room. It was empty. Completely empty.

"What the hell! Where is he?" He muttered.

Thud!

He was above! He dropped down on Kazama. Drew wanted revenge. He began to laugh. His laugh became more maniacal. He pulled out his dagger.

"THIS IS THE END FOR YOU, IKER KAZAMA!!!" he yelled as he stabbed his chest.

Or so he thought... The blade of the dagger hit an aura shield. They each looked towards the window.

"Katsuyo?"

"HYURI KATSUYO!!"

"I can't hold the shield for long, Kazama!"

Kazama punched Drew into the door and jumped back by the window.

"Aura Beam!" Kazama shouted as he shot a beam of Aura through Drew's hands.

Drew screamed in pain. There was a visible hole in both palms.

"This school sure is crazy," Hyuri whispered to Kazama.

Drew scrambled up to open the door. But it was no use. Pain overtook him.

"How does it feel, Drew?" This war is over!"

"Yes! Yes! I surrender!! Leave me alone!" He pleaded.

Kazama walked slowly over to him. He opened the door. Drew shoved it open all the way and ran out. Kazama laughed.

"I'll be on my way then. See you later, Hyuri," Kazama said walking away.

March 23rd [Midnight, Dorm A-05]

Hyuri climbed onto his bunk and sat down. He took off his shirt as the room was warm. He lay on his back. Not only that, but he could feel hair brushing against his arm. He turned around and saw someone lying next to him.

"What the-"

The person turned around. A girl.

"Oh... it's you Hyuri," Aiko yawned.

"A-Aiko?!"

He realized he had no shirt and covered himself with the blanket Aiko was using.

"Aiko, what're you doing in my bed again?"

"Sleeping. What else?"

He realized that Aiko wasn't exactly normal. She is (or was) a divine being.

"You know. Boys and girls usually don't sleep with each other in the same bed, Aiko."

"I know," she said with a plain expression.

The two just stared at each other.

March 23rd, 2000 [6:30 AM, Food court]

Rei, Kensho, and Hyuri sat at a table. Rei and Kensho ate pancakes with syrup. Hyuri caught up on sleep. He hadn't slept all night.

"Maybe he should take some sleeping pills," Kensho suggested.

"It just keeps getting worse," Rei pointed out.

"I got this. WAKE UP, HYURI!!!" Kensho shouted.

"Ahhh!!" Hyuri awoke.

"Hyuri."

He turned around.

"Kaizu?"

"Come with me for a second."

They stood in the hallway.

"It's over. Drew ended the war."

Hyuri sighed with relief. The battle was finished. They didn't even have to call the East Domain leader. Neither of them knew where Drew had gone. But they didn't care. They were relieved it was over.

It wasn't over just yet.

***

[7:45 PM, Unknown Waterfall]

Drew was tied to a cross with a rope. Stakes went through his palms and feet. Blood stained the wooden cross. He couldn't scream for help his mouth was stitched shut and covered by tape. His eyes filled with agony.

"You've failed us, Drew Casey," said a cloaked man.

His face wasn't visible. Neither were his clothes. Nothing. He was covered in a black cloak and only wore all black. Drew knew it was futile, but he struggled anyway. He wanted to live.

"You. You failed me," someone walked through the bush.

His blue eyes illuminated in the low sunlight. His black hair turned into a golden color. Drew's eyes widen. The man he wanted to see the least. It was him. He leaned against a tree. A cocky smirk on his face.

The Archangel himself... Gabriel.

"End him, Mason," Gabriel commanded.

Drew's screams were muffled by the stitches and tape. All that was heard was the splatter of blood and the giant wooden cross slamming into the water and sinking.

"You can come out now," Gabriel told the air.

Four figures stepped out of the woods. Two males and two females. They had been there the whole time. They knew not to interfere.

"I know you want to live. So, follow me."

They didn't hesitate. Then they all disappeared.
