Chapter 4: 02 – [Dungeon status]

I awoke once again to faint rumblings in the rocky surfaces around me, much more slight to the first time. I suspect this set of quakes was caused by this glowing rainbow gem that I can see floating just over my shoulder. This thing was embedded rather deep in the cave wall, given how much larger it is after removing itself. It previously looked to be the size of a soccer ball, but now it more closely resembles the size of a wrecking ball.

I slowly climb to my feet and begin to turn towards the crystal, which proves difficult since it seems to move with my body in order to stay floating just behind and above my right shoulder. Maybe I can order it to stay still?

"Crystal, stop moving."

Well well, looks like I accidentally renamed this thing. That's fine, I don't much care what its name is and crystal is faster to say than Dungeon Core. But why was it unable to process the order to stop moving? Oh right, the last messages from this thing mentioned something about installing an interface in my status screen? Maybe I can issue this kind of order there.
