The neighbors dispersed as well and her mother sat down holding her chest as she sighed in fright for almost letting this unscrupulous thing deceive her out of her house.

This house was bought with her hard earned money, which she had saved little by little, after working so hard for so many years.

She poked Jiang Yu on her forehead: “You little brat, you can’t even pass wind without help on weekdays, why did you suddenly change your personality today?”

However, Jiang Yu hugged her mother hard, feeling emotionally out of control: “Mom! It’s so great to see you!”
Her mother was obviously at a loss and quickly pushed her away, getting goosebumps: “Dead girl, did you take the wrong medicine!”

Jiang Yu smiled, got up, took her hand and said coquettishly: “Mom. I’m hungry and want to eat the noodles you make.”

Her mother was very uncomfortable, cursing her without meaning it: “You can never eat enough; this old lady will have to make a lot of money just to feed you till you are full!”

Although she said that, she immediately turned and went to the kitchen to make noodles for Jiang Yu.

In fact, Jiang Yu’s relationship with her mother had not been good before she was born again.

Her mother’s name was Jiang Manyi. Like her elegant name she was a born romantic. Even when her fate was embittered, she never lost her innocence and happiness.

She was infamous in her life. She was a bartender and now worked as a masseuse in a spa. She usually came back late at night, which inevitably led her to being criticized.

Jiang Yu herself criticized her mother’s work because of the neighbors’ gossip and the discrimination of her classmates. In addition, her mother’s appearance was enchantingly beautiful and her personality was simple and outgoing. She always had a smile on her face and some men loved joking with her.

Jiang Yu, who had been young and ignorant, had increasingly thought that she was unscrupulous and slutty. As a result, the mother-daughter relationship was extremely tense and quarrels usually occurred every few hours.

She had even cursed her mother in the most fierce and vicious language that she could.

It wasn’t until Jiang Yu grew up that she slowly understood her mother’s tolerance for humiliation. If it wasn’t for the compulsion of life, her mother… why would it have come to this?

Her mother later passed away due to illness, which became Jiang Yu’s biggest concern.

She was really a jerk in her previous life.

This time, she won’t ever misunderstand her mother again; she will take care of her most important person.

Her mother made her noodles and Jiang Yu ate it with relish.

Jiang Manyi said with disgust: “Eat slowly; no one will rob your food.”

“I’m very hungry”

“You’re so greedy and you still have to dance ballet. The fat swan can’t fly, so just don’t dance, okay. When you go to college you don’t need to go on a diet and you can eat whatever fragrant food that you want.”
Jiang Yu put down her chopsticks as soon as these words came out.

If she had heard this in the past, Jiang Yu would have quarreled with her mother. She always felt that her mother was mocking her and insulting her dignity.

In her last life, after she really gave up on her dream of dancing and became completely dependent on her rich second-generation husband like a dodder flower…..

It was only later that she realized that she had neither the skills nor the ability to survive. She was the last person who should talk dignity.

Jiang Yu picked out the vegetables in the bowl and ate it.

She had been dancing from the time she was a child and so was in good shape, for which she was often praised by her dance teacher along with slender and long legs which her teacher said were the most perfect pair of legs that she had ever seen in all her decades of teaching.

Jiang Yu was born to be a white swan that spreads its wings on the stage.

Even while eating, Jiang Manyi was worried about her daughter’s tuition for the next semester.  Without that five thousand Yuan, Jiang Yu will inevitably have to drop out of school.

“Or, how about you don’t go to dance class and use the training fee to pay the tuition.”
“No.” Jiang Yu denied: “I have to dance!”

This was her dream.

“What’s the use of dancing?” Jiang Manyi asked anxiously: “Studying hard is the best thing. Mom suffers because she’s uneducated. Don’t you think that maybe in the future, being uneducated like me, you can only be taken advantage of by others…”

She paused, worried that the extreme words would lead to a quarrel with her daughter.

However, Jiang Yu refused to quarrel with her, as after her rebirth she understood her mother bit by bit.

Not having gone to college is the thing that Jiang Manyi had always cared about the most, so she had hoped that Jiang Yu could enter a good university and find a good job like that of a lawyer or an accountant in the future, so that she could earn money and have a good life.

“Don’t worry, I will find a way.” Jiang Yu comforted her mother: “I want to go to dance class and I want to go to school too!”

“You little girl, what are you talking about?” Jiang Manyi said helplessly: “It’s better to mortgage this house to ease the immediate dilemma.”

“This house will be demolished in a few years and the housing price in North city will soar. The compensation will be unimaginably high. So you must keep the house!”

Jiang Manyi thought that Jiang Yu was just dreaming. She cleaned up the dishes as she said: “Yes, go and become rich and make all your dreams come true!”

Jiang Yu came out of the house into the corridor and took out her cell phone.

When she was born again, except for her memories which were not lost, the only thing that was left was this mobile phone which came back with her.

There is a particular app on the phone.

Its interface is a little similar to Wechat mobile. The official administrator account at the top sent her a voice message telling her-

“Through this phone, you can communicate with people in the future”

“Your task is to assist these people to alleviate their regrets and the mistakes in their lives.”

“After successfully alleviating the regrets, you will get the corresponding rewards. Please reply: Accept and start a new task.”

The first thought in Jiang Yu’s mind was ‘Lie’

Growing up in the internet age as she did, she has seen a lot of all kinds of online and mobile phone scams. Of course, she found it impossible to believe this strange app.

However, just like everyone else who was deceived, when a person is forced into a desperate situation and the only lifesaving straw in front was a scam, won’t she want to take it?

The answer of most people is probably yes.

The same is true for Jiang Yu. If she can’t pay the tuition fee of 5000 Yuan she can only give up her dream of dancing and her life may change forever.

She chose to try and trust the app.

She sent a voice mail to the admin account saying; “I accept the task.”

The account did not reply back to her for quite a long time.

Jiang Yu now felt that her approach was quite stupid, to believe this kind of fantasy.

However, twenty minutes later, a person was added to her friend list.

In the chat bar of the app, was the name of her first friend- Mei Zai.

Mei Zai sent her a message that said: “Are you really a person who is reborn and have returned to 2014?”

Jiang Yu was curious and replied: “Yes” and at the same time went back inside and took a picture of the calendar that displayed the date- June 28, 2014 and sent it to her.

Mei Zai seemed to find the mind to give her a try and said-

“2014 is the year that I applied for the college entrance examination. I hope you can help me by finding the ‘me’ who filled out the college entrance form and to tell myself that I must adhere to my literary dream and apply to Beicheng University. And to not do it for my boyfriend and deliberately score low just to go to the same university as him. And then go for the accounting profession that I was not interested in and which I will later regret for the rest of my life.”

Jiang Yu felt that this lady was very sincere. If she really was a liar then her acting skills were great.

However, since she insisted on the bottom line of not giving money to the other party and the other party could not deceive her. At best, it would be a fool’s errand.

Why not try it?

Jiang Yu: “Okay, then how do I find you?”

Mei Zai: “I will send you my information.”

Soon, she told Jiang Yu the details about her past, her school address and class details and even sent her a photo of herself from her school days.

Mei Zai: “According to the date, June 28th 2014, is the day that the school requested the students to fill in the application forms. What is the time over there?”

Jiang Yu: “12:30pm”

Mei Zai: “Today in the afternoon, I will go to the school’s computer room to fill in the application form with my choice. Please be sure to stop me!”

After Jiang Yu got the information, she didn’t think too much about it and hurried out and went straight to Mei Zai’s school.
