“The location of the star fragment was stated to be at Fengyue Park, but we didn’t expect that we’d go down this route with you.”
John bowed his head.
“Look, we’ve already told you everything we know,” Anna added. “Please, let us work with you. We’ll do everything in our power to help you. Please.”
As Yao Tang was gazing at Anna, John took her distraction to his advantage by closing the gap between them. He was just about to strangle her neck.
They were just showing weakness to get her to lower her guard.
“Damn you, brat! You shouldn’t have been so curious!” John tightened the rope around his hand as excitement danced in his eyes.
Now, he wasn’t going to hide his identity anymore. Instead, he gazed over at Anna. “Pull out the damn knife and kill her! Do you want to die too?”

Anna reacted almost immediately. She raised her left leg and leaned in just a bit, enough to pull out the dagger under her pants. Without another word, she cut her right wrist and raised her hand to slash at the woman in front of her.
The rope wasn’t something she could cut off in a short period of time if she was going to be careful. Now, she needed to act fast, even if it meant sacrificing some skin.
“Who’d have thought that a little girl like you managed to get the both of us? It’s just sad that you’re a little inexperienced.” She laughed brightly. “The only thing you can do now is to accept this punishment.”
Anna thought that they had finally gotten to her. What she didn’t know was that Yao Tang had been able to kick her right in the stomach as she was struggling under the other man’s grip.
The woman cried out in pain, clutching her stomach.
This woman was already being strangled, and she still couldn’t manage to subdue her! She was even sent flying! How was this possible?
Anna immediately stood up and was about to stab her with her knife. This time, John also tightened his grip, wanting to cut off the girl’s air supply.
“You can’t even kill her?” John demanded. “What would the entire team say?”
In reality, it wasn’t as if he was doing any better. While he was trying to strangle her with his role, he could tell that Yao Tang was fighting back. If he hadn’t used his full strength, he wouldn’t have been able to subdue her.
Luckily, they planned their attack when she was much more relaxed. Otherwise, fighting against her when she was on high alert would be as difficult as fighting god himself.
Anna gritted her teeth.
“Please, is this really all you got?” Yao Tang barked out a laugh, snorting.

“You think you’re funny, girlie?” John scowled. “Do you really think you have the upper hand?”
But for some reason, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy.
Within the second, their positions had been reversed.
Yao Tang stretched out her hand and pulled the rope around her neck. Before they could say anything, the rope around her neck completely disappeared. The rope transformed into a thin thread, and by the time they found out, the string had already wrapped itself around his and Anna’s wrists.
An electric current shot through them, and they immediately stumbled onto the ground.
“Have you forgotten that the rope is mine?” She snorted. “Do you really think I wouldn’t know about this?”
She had originally thought that the two of them would have planned something against them.
She didn’t really expect them to be this stupid.
Yao Tang casually took out a metal ball and disassembled it. Before long, the metal ball had transformed into a dagger that glowed under the natural lighting.
“It seems that the star fragment wasn’t in Fengyue Peak,” she slowly said. “You all know it was in Lingyun Peak from the very beginning.”
She gazed at the dagger, narrowing her eyes.
Without another word, Yao Tang slowly made her way to Anna.
“How boring, and here I thought you were trying to tell me a big secret.”
