Everyone was waiting for the arrival of the Math Olympiad Competition.
After all, the battle between Class A and Class F sounded very interesting.
The challenge had been posted on the official website of the online platform for a whole month.
There were comments on the post every day.
Hu Jian had not paid attention to this since she first saw it. Instead, it was Cheng Weiyu who was always in high spirits and would read some interesting comments to Hu Jian.
On the morning of the Math Olympiad Competition, they met early at the school gate.
Li Yang said that he had to go buy some things so Hu Jian and Cheng Weiyu went back to the classroom first.
Hu Jian did not have anything to take. She just accompanied Cheng Weiyu to take her lucky charm, a yellow asteroid.
When she passed by her seat, she could hardly recognize her desk and chair.
The table and chair were full of cuts made with a knife and red paint was all over those cuts. They looked like wounds, overlapping one another. It was a shocking sight.
The people in Class F all had solemn expressions. The students passing by the door were all whispering.
No wonder it was so difficult to enter just now and they almost could not squeeze through. It was all because someone used such a childish trick before the competition.
Hu Jian felt that it was a little funny for a moment.
Cheng Weiyu nervously grabbed Hu Jian’s arm and a worried look appeared on her face.
The boy with blue fringe saw this and came forward to ask if Hu Jian needed help.
Hu Jian used her finger to wipe the red paint on the scratches and put it under her nose to sniff it, saying, “No need. Those who have the guts to do this but don’t have the guts to admit should be ashamed of themselves.”
In the corridor, the girl behind Wang Xin suddenly sneezed.
“Well… this smell is quite fresh. It should have been made this morning.” After Hu Jian said that, she touched the solidified glue on the table again and used her nails to scratch it. Judging from the hardness of the glue, she said, “This was glued last night.”
Cheng Weiyu opened her mouth and cleverly asked everyone’s thoughts, “How do you know this?”
Hu Jian smiled mysteriously, but her words forced the F class to choke. “Learn more and you’ll naturally know everything.”
Wang Xin had just walked to the classroom door when she heard this sentence. She immediately mocked, “If you learn more, you’ll know everything. Then, after learning Math Olympiad for so many days, you’ll know everything.”
Hu Jan replied matter-of-factly, “Of course.”
“Don’t talk too big, or you’ll be embarrassed by what you just said.”
“The outcome hasn’t been decided yet. Who will be embarrassed is still unknown.”
“People who are too confident will fail. Didn’t your mother teach you?” Wang Xin mocked.
Hu Jian chuckled and laughed, “You don’t need to know whether my mother taught me or not, but I will definitely teach you.”
“You!” A girl behind Wang Xin understood what she meant. She stood up and pointed her index finger at her nose.
Hu Jian raised her eyebrows and continued to provoke her. “Don’t look at me like that. I’m only seventeen. I don’t really want to be someone else’s mother.”
Wang Xin’s eyes narrowed. She pressed the girl’s arm down, signaling for her to calm down.
Laugh all she wants now. When the results were announced, she would not be able to laugh anymore!
In less than ten minutes, Wang Xin led her people out.
Hu Jian felt that they were really interesting. They had gone to such great lengths just to find trouble with her.
Hu Jian moved her desk to the back of the classroom against the wall. She even pasted a note with two words on it — “Don’t touch.” She then told Cheng Weiyu to get her things.
When she moved the desk, the corner of the desk collided with someone else’s desk. Half of the things in Hu Jian’s table pocket fell out in pieces.
The paper that Yang Si had stuffed in her table pocket last night was also there.
Hu Jian bent down to pick it up. At a glance, she saw the big words written on the crumpled piece of paper — “Answer to Paper A of the National Math Olympiad Competition”.
Heh, they were really making the effort to do things behind her back.
Hu Jian smiled. She immediately knew that Yang Si was responsible for this.
This was not Wang Xin’s style, but it was something Yang Si would do.
Cheng Weiyu took the asteroid and leaned over to see what Hu Jian was so engrossed in.
When she saw it, she was shocked.
She instinctively took a step back. When she made sure that no one could see her for the time being, she mouthed and gestured to Hu Jian, asking why this thing had appeared here.
The exam was about to start. As such, it was impossible to explain in a few words. Hu Jian only told her not to touch the answer with her hands.
Cheng Weiyu nodded.
Li Yang came over with the breakfast he bought. When he saw the answer in Hu Jian’s hand, his expression suddenly became serious.
The answers were not easy to find… In the past, he had only seen it in the Archives at home…
But this year it was all locked up in the Test Center.
