That was my reaction when I heard Galette’s story.
However, everything Kaisar has done so far is pranking people or using his family to act arrogantly.
If Galette is right and Kaisar didn’t attack his ex-fiancée because of his failure, then all of Kaisar’s actions were nothing more than a series of small, insignificant things.
However, it is also true that the accumulation of these small things has earned Kaisar the reputation of being scum. Even if Galette is right and Kaisar intentionally made it look that way, by using a single decisive move at the right moment, Kaisar could have achieved the low-risk reputation he sought with little effort.
Kaisar was able to gather the recognition from the people he sought, and now, by all accounts, people’s assessment of him is that he is a small fry, a scum, and the worst man around.
“I don’t care if you believe it or not. I just want you to know that not only did he heal my body and give me a place to live, but he also gave me this godforsaken power… Well, it’s almost been five minutes. It’s not enough to just place my sword on your throat, so I shall punch you in the gut with my free hand.”
“S-stop…”
If it had been before we started the mock battle, I would probably have been angry at her for making fun of me too much.
However, now I was more afraid that I would die if she hit me seriously, as there was no way I could avoid her.
