Chapter 10: Scouting party from Agarat city

 

Other than that there are many planets where most of the races died with a single race being dominant or completely occupied by those chaos monsters with no race left to defend the planet.

 

Now these planets are being assimilated back to earth at a rapid speed.

 

Even if all the planets are assimilated back to earth, the total amount of explored land of the giant earth is less than 0.001 percent.

 

Also the placed occupied by people of any race is even less.

 

Now because of the process of assimilation many buildings collapsed causing the population to be reduced even more.

 

But there are planets that made construction in preparation for chaos beast invasion were able to survive.

 

Magadha is one such country that has special construction implemented for disaster reasons that can withstand the heavy earthquakes and being crushed by giant chaos monsters in monster tides.

 

So the city of Agarat that was near to Chandu’s town is a big city that has good defenses using the magic formations.

 

Because of this even after the earthquake the city only suffered some minor damages and there are no causalities at all.

 

The management of the city has even started to explore the cause of the heavy earthquake while another party is tending to save the people of the damaged areas.

 

Because of the heavy magic gas they were unable to contact other cities or the capital so they decided to do the preliminary checks.

The earth quake finally and completely stopped in the early morning next day.

 

Chandu also woke up when the final jerk of the earthquake happened pulling out some big trees.

 

Fortunately the tree that he was sleeping on was strong as the finder skill mentioned.

 

He simply washed his mouth with some water and had a simple breakfast.

 

After that he gave the finder skill another question.

 

“Find me a direction that can help me get a suitable future path?”

 

This time the answer is actually to make Chandu stay there and wait.

 

Chandu sat on the top of the tree and started his long waiting.

The scouting party from Agarat city started their search when they found that there are no more earth quakes.

 

A few kilometers from their city one of the scouting party found a half broken road that was not there previously.

 

They started to follow the road and at around 10: 00 AM they found a ruined city.

 

Chandu who was sitting on the top of the tree was able to see few people riding big horses towards his town.

The city of Agarat has vehicles with engine and motor but the transportation through animals is cheaper than those vehicles.

 

The reason is there are no fossil fuels on any of their planets.

 

The reserves of fossil fuels on earth are also completely gone after this shifting process.

 

Well there are still coal mines, but the petrol and gas mines are completely gone.

 

Those engines of the Magadha country either run on steam from burning coal like that of early industrial revolution or they use magic crystals or monster cores.

 

The magic crystal and monster cores are valuable so the people usually use animals like horses or other chaos monsters that can be domesticated.

 

When Chandu saw the horses he was shocked to find that there are in different colours like red and even blue.

 

Other than that these horses are twice as big as normal horses on earth.

 

Chandu waited on the tree in hiding looking at the scene that was about to unfold.

He know that these people are unknown and there are possible not from earth.

 

They dressed up in military uniform that is unknown to him.

 

There are many unknowns in this matter.

 

He doesn’t know if those people are good or bad.

 

So he is waiting for the scapegoat that would test out the waters for him.

 

He doesn’t have to follow them as the tree is at the edge of the town where few other refugees were staying at just hundred meters away from him.

 

The scout party stopped at the entrance of the town where some refugees were staying in an Inflatable Tents.

 

Just 40 meters away from there, Chandu was sitting on the top of the tree.

 

When the people on the horses stopped before the tents and made a strange call.

 

“Hey who is in the tent?

 

Come out, we are from the official army scout party of the Magadha country that came from the Agarat city.

 

We came here for search and rescue people.

 

Tell us what happened here?”

 

Chandu heard it clearly.

 

‘They are speaking in English’

 

‘Are they really people from earth’

 

‘I will wait and see what will happen next before taking any action.’

 

‘The finder skill still said to wait, so there is something messy going on here’

Chandu thought and stayed on the spot, while some of the refugees came out of the tent in hope of finding someone that came to rescue them.

 

They previously heard the galloping sound of the horse but they hid in the tent without daring to come out.

 

This because of the undead they saw yesterday.

 

They thought that some mutated beasts came over to rampage and hid in the tent.

 

But when they heard that the rescue team is here they came out of the tent to take a look.

 

“Sir,

 

Are you really here to rescue us?”

 

But when they saw their uniform and the colorful horses, their faces became pale as they know that these people might not be from earth.

 

They don’t know who these people are or they did not look like the people in the surrounding area.

 

Out of confusion they panicked and tightly hold the tools in their hands as if they are weapons.

 

“Who are you people?

 

You are not people from our countries military.”

 

The people in the scouting party acted friendly and spoke in English again

 

“We are people from……
