"So, he just wants us to make some noise? Be annoying or something?" One of the members of the Twin Moons asks, while the group waits in the alleyway. One of their members, a mage, maintains a sound canceling barrier around them in order to properly hide their conversations from those not a part of their group.
The woman who asked her question looks over at the sergeant's contact, a man with gray hair in his early 50s. He is the one who pays attention to the sergeant's encrypted messages received by the receiver. She is unimpressed by the request. He seems to be pondering something. If he knows his friend as well as he thinks he does, then…
"No, obviously not. What we need to do is really up to us. The instructions were kept purposely vague. So long as what we plan makes a lot of noise and pulls people away from the square, he'll be happy. You know…"
The older man takes out a vial of translucent green liquid from his jacket's inner pocket.
"It has been quite a while since we've really had fun. It’s been months since we’ve maimed, paralyzed or killed any of the mongrels and lizards. Maybe, just maybe, today's the day we'll finally see heaven." The man hears silence for a few seconds. Then he, the woman and the rest of the group break out into a fit of hearty and raucous laughter.
Everyone that is a part of the Twin Moons is committed to meeting death regardless of the day. All they really want out of their lives is to go out loud and in style while taking a few of God’s enemies out with them.
Of course, they do not perform suicide attacks and take as many precautions as they can imagine. After all, so long as most of them continue to survive the mayhem they dish out, their work can continue indefinitely. Suicide is still a cardinal sin according to Osva.
But, if death comes to meet them and earns them, then so be it.
The group quiets down and one of their members considers the vial in the old man’s hands.
"You sure it's the right time to use that here?" He asks, the excitement in his voice palpable.
"Oh yes, I've brought a few vials for today because I knew that Osva would give us a test of our faith. This entire morning, I’ve felt him speaking to me, and I’m glad I listened. Praise him.”
“We shalt join him in the true heaven.” The entire group speaks out in response to the old man’s ‘praise him’, a simple group habit to attest to their collective faith.
“With what I brought with me, I should have enough to melt a whole building down. I’ll be the one holding on to the potions and we’ll stick to bringing down one building today. I still would rather not risk getting a big spotlight on us if we go too far. So long as at least a few can believe that the building’s collapse is the result of a kitchen fire or something, it’ll be good enough."
The old man smiles and he imagines the blazing hallways, the crumbling pillars, the screaming demihumans…

He and his brothers and sisters consider the best way to make a proper spectacle out of today. The statue marchers just get on their nerves. They're a bunch of fools concerned with optics who would rather have the news spread word about them instead of doing something really interesting or worthwhile.
The letter the sergeant gave did say that a number of the march’s sympathizers had gathered in the square. Those young, inexperienced ones could be the people they need today to make their plans work. The group tries formulating a plan to convince the inexperienced sympathizers to come along with them to these apartment buildings.
They could be used as a way to disguise the actual Twin Moon members and their movements. These outsiders with no obvious connection to them would be a good kind of ‘base’ for the initial rioting they have planned.
Then, when they start storming whichever apartment building they choose, things will only become more chaotic for the people left behind on the ground, to their benefit. Maybe if they’re lucky, once they do what they need to do in the building, they can escape through whatever chaos is left over on the ground floor.
"First, we'll gather some of the amateurs standing around at the square to start making some noise outside these buildings here. Then, we'll break into a building and start killing a few people. It would probably be a good time for a live sacrifice, I know you guys have been looking forward to that!"
Several in the group raise their heads and smile brightly. It's as if they've just heard they're being given a delicious feast on the last night of their lives.
"Honestly, for the rest of us, we can plan and plan and plan but Osva will only laugh at us. Let’s try and play this by ear, feel out the situation on the ground first and then make our move. I know a lot of you have some good instincts.” One of the women says this, getting nods of agreement and laughter from the crowd.
“Some of you need to keep a good eye on the guards in the area. I saw one of them who was keeping an eye on our group, gave me the creeps.”
“Yeah, keep an eye out for them. The last thing we need is a bunch of empty helmets trying to stop us from doing what’s right for humanity. Oh, and whoever wants to rob a few places, be careful. You can’t see heaven if you’re killed by a demihuman whose home you’re trying to rob, I’m just going to say that here and now.”
The group laughs, some of them more wryly than others.
The old man finishes up the pep talk.
“It's been a while since we've put the fear of God into these demihuman fuckers. And don’t anybody forget how we're going to end the whole thing…"
The man imitates an explosion and the collapse of a tall building with his hands.
