“Disappear huh.” Wang Hao muttered this words slowly to himself. He looked towards Eleanor, asking her the unspoken question.
“She seems to be telling the truth.” Eleanor sighed as she processed what Sarah had said. “That means that 6 months from now, you are going to do something that will lead to the fall of the Tian Ji Empire.”
“How did you exactly see that catastrophe?”
“I actually did not see it, I just knew that it was going to happen. And from what I knew, you are definitely related to the incoming catastrophe. As such,” Sarah then stood up on her chair. She stared at Wang Hao directly as she declared,
“I will do my best to keep you here in this village until the designated day of the catastrophe passes. Once it passed, I will allow you to go freely already.”
“Hey that’s too much!” Eleanor retorted defiantly. She bristled as her face reddened with anger. “Just because Lin Fang will be related to the catastrophe, you will already detain him? Aren’t you afraid that what you did today will lead to the catastrophe itself?”
“Of course, I am.” Sarah replied. “But doing something to prevent it is better than doing nothing at all.
“But...”
Wang Hao raised his hands to stop Eleanor from speaking. “You do not need to speak anymore, my wifey. I will do what she says. We will stay in this village for around 6 months.”
“Why?”
Wang Hao held Eleanor by her arm as he brought her outside. He then started saying to her in a hushed tone, “Don’t you get it? This is a way for us to elude capture! If we stay in this village for 6 months, this golden dome can mostly protect us from detection. Now that they voluntarily want us to stay, we as the guests, must stay!”
“But what about the golden bull told you? Aren’t you worried about that?” Eleanor replied worriedly.
Wang Hao just looked grim as he nodded. “Of course, that worries me. Heck, I even think it could be related to the incoming catastrophe!” He then looked furtively towards Chief Fou’s house. Sarah the Seer could be heard muttering impatiently inside. She seems pissed for being left behind the conversation.
“From what I see, not even Chief Fou or Sarah the Seer knows about what the golden bull told me.”
“Are you not going to tell them?”
“No. What if it is really related to the catastrophe? Letting others know about it may lead to the catastrophe happening! So we will keep what the bull told us a secret ok?’
“But if that’s the case, then why did the golden bull told you about that?”
“Hmmph, I am sure that golden bull is scheming something. If I play right into its hands, no, hooves, something unpleasant may occur.”
Upon hearing Wang Hao’s logic, Eleanor just sighed and agreed. She then suggested something.
“Why don’t we put what the golden bull told us in a memory stone?”
“A memory stone huh? Why did I not think of that?”
A memory stone was an artifact related to sealing a portion of memory.
It was a simple stone that can be held with one hand. Once pressed to the temple, the person will see a space inside his/her mind. All the person’s memories can be seen and accessed in this space. Once the person sees the memory that he/she wants to seal, the person will then grab that memory in the space and store it in the stone.
Once this was done, the person will forget anything about the stored memory. That memory will be stored in the memory stone. This stored memory can be retrieved later if wanted. A memory stone can only store a memory proportional to its size. The larger the memory stone, the larger memory it may contain.
Memory stones were useful on hiding certain secrets. If the person is not confident on keeping a secret, they can hide it in a memory stone and retrieve it later. The stone can be also used to forget certain traumatic events that may harm a person’s life.
“Well, do you have some memory stones with you? I certainly do not have some with me.” Of course, Wang Hao have some memory stones. The problem was just, they were too...... big.”
“Yeah here it is.” Eleanor scoured her space ring as she looked for the memory stones. “Found it!”
Two pebble-sized stones appeared on her hands. She took one and gave it to Wang Hao. She held the memory stone at her temple. Wang Hao did the same. Eleanor then started the countdown.

“In one, two, three!”
Wang Hao made the connection required to power up the memory stone. His surroundings went blank as he stared around him.
What he was seeing right now was his memory space.
But there is something weird in Wang Hao’s memory space. If it were the normal memory space, Wang Hao should have easily seen all his memories. But his memories in the memory space were covered with multitude of seals.
The seals on his memory space all look alike. They were in the shape of a Ten-Petaled Flower. These seals covered the majority of his memory. The ones left visible were those that were unlocked. Wang Hao did not waste his time observing the sealed memories. He went towards the memory he will hide.
He approached the section where he heard about what the bull said to him. He stared at it, as he thought to himself,
“Hiding it will be for the best.” Wang Hao then carefully pulled out that portion of his memory. Once he was sure that all of it had been isolated, he stored it in the memory stone.
Once he had done this, his memory space started shaking, as his senses brought him back to reality.
“Huff, huff.” Eleanor was sweating and panting hard after that. Extracting and storing a memory will give a large burden to the brain. With Wang Hao’s special abilities, he will hardly tire. But Eleanor just have a body of a mortal, so it will be really strenuous for her.
Wang Hao just appreciated the way Eleanor’s clothes stuck to her body as it became wet with her sweat. He could clearly see her perfect curves. Eleanor frowned in displeasure upon seeing Wang Hao stare at her like that. Wang Hao could only turn his head away regretfully.
He then stared at the memory stone in his hands. He then became confused as he tried to remember what he put in the stone. But no matter what he did, he could not remember it.
Not only that, but he seemed to forget something that the bull told him. No matter what Wang Hao did, what he could remember was nothing.
“You told me something very important right? Something so important that we have to hide it here?” Eleanor asked Wang Hao. “So, what are we going to do with these memory stones? Do we keep it? Or do we destroy it?”
“Let me keep it with me.” Eleanor agreed as she passed the stone she was holding into Wang Hao. Wang Hao then deposited both the stones on his space pocket.
After doing all this, Wang Hao stared at Eleanor as he declared,
“Our six-month honeymoon starts now!”
“Piss off, pervert!”
...........
That was all that happened on the day that Wang Hao left the Immortal God Sect.
The present day.
Fang Lin, Fang Yu and Tang Ya were walking together as they stared at the large spirit ship in front of them. This ship was clearly 50 times bigger that Xiao Ya’s spirit ship.
“Why does Master’s ship look smaller than this? She is the sect head, yet her spirit ship is like that?” Fang Yu said as she stared in awe at the towering ship.
It was Tang Ya who replied to Fang Yu. “Your master’s spirit ship is her personal spirit ship. This ship right here, is the spirit ship of the Immortal God Sect! It represents the prestige of the entire sect. Because the delegation of the Immortal God Sect will be going to the Tian Ji Empire, the sect needed to show off its power.”
Fang Yu nodded, seemingly satisfied with the answer. Fang Lin stared at the ship as he slowly muttered,
What will my Master Wang Hao now do?
Will he come kneeling to pay his due?
Or will he strike deal with the devil,
To create chaos and claim some kill?
“Sigh Fang Lin, your poems are just as bad as your puns.”
