The Correct Way Of Feeding The Sick And Delicate Villain Chapter 46
The Hero and the Villain Happily Meet (2)
At first, Ding Yi was worried that he was working too hard, copying the texts all the way into the night, but he would always ignore her advice about getting rest early. After seeing that he was genuinely happy to be helping her out, she let the issue go.
Afterwards, she rationalized that copying texts could be of great help to Mu Yueshi’s future at Mount Yuling, and so it could be viewed as a form of preparation.
When she thought about it that way, she became at ease.
She stayed at home unless absolutely necessary, and so the only person who she saw all day was Mu Yueshi.
She was a loafer, and she was proud of it.
Every day was a great day for Ding Yi, but as the day that Mu Yueshi needed to head up the mountain approached, she felt her sense of anxiety grow.
Is this the feeling of a parent who was about to send their dear child to boarding school?
Sigh.
On a certain stormy dusk, Ding Yi was heading home from one of her jobs and happened to pass by the local school. She thought that maybe Mu Yueshi had forgotten to bring an umbrella, and so she went to escort him home.
At this time, the school should’ve been empty. Ding Yi was just trying her luck, but when she passed a secluded alleyway, she saw some people fighting in the rain.. and one of them was Mu Yueshi?!
Ding Yi was shocked.
She had always thought Mu Yueshi, who had halted his demonization, was a kind, upstanding, cute, precious, gentle, virtuous, and bright young man. Why would someone like that be fighting in the streets?
To say that it was a fight wasn’t entirely correct. There were already many well-built men lying on the ground. It was many against one, so the lone Mu Yueshi seemed all the more vulnerable.
It was at this time that one of the people behind him snuck up, pointing his sword at Mu Yueshi’s back!
Ding Yi forgot all about her surprise, and screamed: “Stop!”
She threw her umbrella away, dropped the sneaky individual’s sword with a flying kick, and using the moment, locked the man into a grapple.
“Who are you! You dare commit murder within the city premises?” she asked menacingly.
To her surprise, the thug started cursing at her in frustration: “Stupid whore! Do you know who we are? You’ve picked the wrong people to mess with! Let me go! I said let me go!”
Oho, so it’s a thug with a bit of a background.
Mu Yueshi, having heard the man’s words, turned vicious. He pulled Ding Yi behind him and kicked the man as hard as he could, causing the thug to vomit blood.
His expression was dark, and the assailants, seeing that Mu Yueshi meant business, immediately crawled up from the ground and ran for it.
Mu Yueshi wanted to chase them down, but Ding Yi stopped him. They didn’t know who these people were, so it would’ve been dangerous to follow them.
Ding Yi looked at the person still sprawled on the ground, unconscious.
Boss you actually dared facing four armed men with just your bare hands.
Ding Yi’s expression hardened, like a parent who caught their child goofing off, but despite her external seriousness, she was extremely anxious deep inside.
Why were you fighting, boss? Please, don’t be some sort of plot development that she doesn’t know about!
Mu Yueshi’s face had none of the darkness that he displayed to the thugs. “I don’t know, I don’t even know them,” he said innocently.
Ding Yi: “…”
She felt absolutely speechless. “Then why did they attack you?”
Mu Yueshi’s expression didn’t change, only his eyes revealing a hint of coldness. He pointed toward towards the corner of the wall: “It’s because of him.”
Ding Yi followed his finger, and saw someone hiding where Mu Yueshi was pointing. She had neglected to look around just now in her haste.
Everything made sense now, he was just helping the helpless.
Ding Yi calmed down, and her expression became relaxed. She smiled gently and walked over:
“Hello, young…”
The haggard young boy lifted his head, revealing a well-proportioned, handsome face. His eyes were clear and bright, and he had an air of pride around him, so much so that even though he was unkempt, he still looked noble.
The storm falling outside was nothing compared to the hurricane swirling inside Ding Yi’s mind.
She seemed to smell the plot derailing.
This… could this be the legendary pro- protagonist?
As if to confirm her expectations, a familiar mechanical voice rang out in her mind...

[Character: Jiang Mocheng, the young master of an aristocratic family. The protagonist of the original work. Notice: Target and protagonist have interacted with one another. We have entered into the prologue plot. The protagonist is endangered. The host should offer any help needed.]
There were a dozen or so seconds of silence as Ding Yi attempted to digest what she had just learned while the mechanical voice in her mind repeatedly reminded her of the haggard young boy’s importance.
Great, the villain and the protagonist of the original plot, all in one place.
Ding Yi turned around to look at the cold, dark Mu Yueshi and then turned to look at the noble and prideful Jiang Mocheng. She was momentarily overwhelmed with emotion.
You guys managed to bump into one another, even in this shitty weather.
