The Correct Way Of Feeding The Sick And Delicate Villain Chapter 52
Little-Subspace-Black Room (2)
“Alright, I understand.” Ding Yi was overwhelmed by anxiety. She asked Jiang Mocheng to get the Soul Soothing Pill from her room, and kept feeling Mu Yueshi’s forehead, at a loss for what to do.
She knew that as Mu Yueshi got older, his demonic instincts would become harder to control. The ten thousand demon bloodline that he had would cause him to lose his reason, and cause him a great deal of pain whether he was awake or asleep.
The pain was similar to that of a chronic disease that relapsed once a year, and it was something that even the magical System had no solution for!
This problem was Ding Yi’s top priority, the primary reason why she was in such a hurry to send him to Mount Yuling. It was only there that Mu Yueshi eventually found a way to suppress his bloodline.
Originally her plans were going smoothly, but unexpectedly assassins popped out from nowhere and even aggravated his ten thousand demon bloodline!
Ding Yi silently cursed the side character Demon Lord who currently only existed in the background.
Mu Yueshi’s complexion was ghastly pale, and his body was as cold as ice. His messy ink-black hair was soaked in cold sweat, and the dark mark between his brows blinked in and out of existence. Obviously, he was working hard to suppress his murderous urges, the corners of his eyes as red as blood*.
*(kinda like eye shadow)
He was in great pain.
Ding Yi felt like she was suffocating, watching Mu Yueshi.
She touched her hurting heart as she sweated profusely. She had no choice but to ask the system for more help: Help, I feel like I’m dying! How many points do I have left? Is there anything that you can do to relieve or dull his pain?
The heartrending pain was killing her.
This was the power of a contract, when the souls are bound, even life and pain are shared!
The system’s window popped up.
[Connecting to the power source ‘black jade of bloody tears’, subspace has been connected. Please confirm usage.]
Ding Yi was confused: Didn’t I ask for pain relief? Why the hell did you give me a subspace?
System: If you enter the subspace, you can block the pain coming from your body. Since you and the target are connected by soul contract, the effect should be no different.
Ding Yi was taken aback: So you’re telling me to hide?
System: Something like that.
Honestly speaking, she was afraid of the powers derived from the black jade of bloody tears, but the mounting pain in her heart gave her little choice, and it was almost certain that Mu Yueshi was hurting even more.
So what if it was a little black room*, we need to overcome the current hurdle first!
*(internet speak for being muted in a chat channel, alludes to solitary confinement)
As soon as the window vanished, the scenery changed. The powerful light blinded Ding Yi’s eyes, and her head spun.
After an unknown length of time, she finally felt a sense of reality. The place that she was transported to… was a bit cold.
Ding Yi slowly opened her eyes, and her hazy vision gradually came into focus. But, due to the dim lighting in the subspace, it took a while for her to be able to see her surroundings.
The little black room was slightly better than what she had expected, at least it wasn’t a lightless metal box.
Ding Yi looked around and saw that she was in some place that resembled… an underground palace?
She hesitantly walked up, and touched an octagonal lamp next to a stone pillar. The rough, cold touch was very realistic.
As expected of a divine item which could bring about an apocalypse, the space it created wasn’t cheap at all!
Ding Yi was slightly surprised and excited. As the system had told her, she did not feel any pain in her chest, and her entire being seemed to float.
She followed the lamps and walked up the stone steps, when she reached the top she found that the stairs led to a lightly closed door.
The surroundings were quiet, and a subtle sweet aroma wafted from behind the door.
Ding Yi was curious, and complemented the system on its impressive abilities. This space that it had developed was almost like a virtual reality treasure hunting game.
Wow!
She pushed the door open, and saw the insides were dim. The lamps went out, and the surroundings were shrouded by darkness.
A large, dark, fancy canopied bed was in the middle of the room, and on the bed was a person.
Because it was a simulation, Ding Yi’s miniscule courage became inflated, and so she succumbed to her curiosity, lifting the canopy to examine the person’s face.
She softly lifted the canopy, and saw a man wearing black silk robes. His face was inhumanly handsome, and his breathing rough. Between his closed eyes was a flickering dark rune, the corners of his long and narrow eyes were glowing red…
Ding Yi’s heart skipped a beat, and her face went pale!
At that moment, the man suddenly opened his eyes, and his dark, cold eyes looked right into the frightened Ding Yi’s own quivering eyes.
