It was around 10 p.m when it happened.
*BAANG*
*Shake*
*Crumble*
The door to Hao Xuan's room burst open and the silhouette of a body shot out. Green and Red each took a step to their left and right respectively, barely avoiding it.
They snapped back and looked at Jin Wang who was embedded into a 2 feet thick brick wall about 10 meters away from them.
They exchanged glances and looked back at the room from which the sound of footsteps came.
*tak*tak*tak*
As soon as they saw the owner of those footsteps step into the light, they got down on one knee.
"Congratulations, master!"
Their fervent voices echoing in the air. They could feel an oppressive power enveloping Hao Xuan from top to bottom.
Previously, even though Hao Xuan was quite tall, his body wasn't very muscular. That is not to say that he looked like a malnourished giant, but it wasn't anything to brag about either. But now...
He only had a white rob on which was a size bigger, yet his muscular body filled it up quite nicely and didn't give off any sense of frailty.
His hair moved about without any wind. His eyes looked like two green LED lights shining in the darkness.
When Green and Red first saw him they thought they were looking at a beast parading as Hao Xuan, yet they could feel the connection between their souls.
The difference this time wasn't as drastic as when Hao Xuan first activated the Immortal Devouring Demon, but it was more related to his charm.
At first glance, he gave the observer a feeling of wildness. The more closely one watched, the stronger this feeling got. At some point, it turned into an air of unshackled and unrestrained liberation coming off of him.
Green and Red who were both divine beasts could pick up on this much better than the others. He 'looked' more human-like than before, yet the feeling he gave off was like that of a wild beast.
The muscles on his shoulder and neck were like steel wires, almost popping out.
Hao Xuan glanced at them and smiled.
"Get up."
He didn't even use the constitution's power to order them but their bodies moved on their own. Standing this close to him so soon after he had increased his powers, every word felt like a heavenly decree.
He looked at the crumbling wall and the staggering figure coming out of it, and then looked at his own fist.
"When did you get so weak?" he asked with a frown.
A thick vein pulsed on Jin Wang's forehead as he looked daggers at him.
"Since a week ago when I used up all my strength to help protect you."
"Oh, thanks I guess. Go rest then, I want to continue this in the morning."
"Oh you're goddamn right we're gonna continue this tomorrow. Just you wait motherf*cker, I'ma show you the inside of your stomach in the morning!" Jin Wang replied with a sinister smile and slowly fumbled away.
Hao Xuan looked at Green and Red and waved them towards the maple tree in the distance.
"Come, let me see what unclocked for my constitution."
The Soul Severing Heavenly constitution, like the name implied, was related to the soul. The stronger the power of the soul, the more he would be able to do with it. The more potential was unlocked for it, the more abilities he could have.
After stepping into the Spirit Realm and having absorbed the bulk of the spiritual energy from the 4 Low-Grade Spirit stones, his soul had indeed become much stronger.
Some knowledge related to his abilities appeared in his brain, like a long lost memory. Well, to say that it appeared would be incorrect. It was always there but he could only see it now.
He sat down on the patio and looked up at the moon which seemed to be brighter than ever before. It wasn't just the moon, but everything seemed more... 'vivid', more real.

He could feel the slightest changes in the wind on his face, all nearby the scents and smells seemed distinct enough to him that he instantly knew where they were coming from and from what.
His ears twitched as he looked towards Xu Qing's room. He closed his eyes and focused.
Soon the rustling of her bedsheets entered his ears as he heard her move about. He could her heartbeat and smell her scent which was similar to aromatic lilies.
His two hearts beat faster and faster. He guiltily looked away. It felt like he was spying on her which wasn't really a good feeling.
He waved his hand and called everyone out.
Ensis, Monk, Bo, Green, and Red all stood in front of him. Black and White were on his shoulders as usual, just happy to be around him after so long.
He looked at Monk first, "Come."
With some slight hesitation, Monk got down on one knee in front of him and lowered his head. Without even having Hao Xuan explain it to him he knew what to do by instinct.
Hao Xuan placed his right palm over his head which was covered by a shimmering blue light.
As Hao Xuan thought about it, a word flashed past his eyes.
"Inspect!"
Monk's closed eyes trembled as Hao Xuan's lit up like torches. He could feel the power of his soul thrum about and enter Monk's body. It soon returned with a stream of golden light.
A lot of information suddenly appeared in his mind.
It was a bunch of jumbled up words that were moving around randomly. Hao Xuan focused on the words and attempted to read them, and one by one they started making legible sentences.
Species: Giant
Bloodline: Olden Earth Titan
Blood Purity Level: 0.7%
Abilities: Fire Immunity, Vigorous Lifeforce, Giant's Stomp
Skills: Spear Mastery, Unarmed combat
"Woah!"
Hao Xuan couldn't help but exclaim when the list of words started making sense. All of this information was extracted directly from Monk's DNA, memory, and soul collectively.
It showcased everything he had learned as well as the abilities he was born with. All of this information was always available inside him, and when his own soul was strong enough, he would have been able to understand it all by himself.
But now there was no need for that since Hao Xuan could already do that for him.
"Baracus, record what I'm about to tell you," Hao Xuan muttered but there was no response. He looked down and found his wrists empty.
He only had to think about it for a second before he ran back into the room and picked up the watch from the hole where the wooden tank used to be.
He put it on and its screen lit up.
"Thank you for finally remembering about my existence," Baracus's usual emotionless voice rang in Hao Xuan's ears.
Hao Xuan scratched his head with an awkward smile, "Sorry sorry, I completely forgot. How did you even come off?"
"There was nothing to attach to. Your flesh melted away and your bones broke into a hundred pieces. So I simply waited. Although I wouldn't have had to if you got me that blacksmith I asked for."
"I told you to contact the Den, why didn't you?"
"I did. They said it would take several months to get everything ready. They say there is no blacksmith anywhere near as capable of making the devices I need."
"Hmm, alright, contact Wu Jin and ask him to find one. There are bound to be a few where he is."
"Alright."
Hao Xuan walked back to the patio under the red maple tree and looked at Monk with a smile.
"You've got some pretty strong blood in ya buddy."
