Chapter 44: Chapter 43. Frightening Law

A week passed since he met Burgess and Gion on Water 7 city. As he had expected, the World Government accepted his term and let Burgess become a Warlord.

It wasn't announced to the other world as the higher-ups in the Marines didn't want anyone to know that they had caught the son of the devil.

Alex on the other hand kept training the girls to use the advanced version of Armament Haki. The girls who were still quite weak to use that were instructed to fight the overlords of the training island by him so they could all improve themselves.

He occasionally went to meet Boa Hancock during the week to check up on her progress in the advanced Armament Haki. Since she had the strongest Haki among his group after him, she was improving rapidly.

He also made sure to check up on the Kuja pirates who were training on the same island as Hancock. He gave them some instructions as well so they wouldn't get stuck on some kind of bottleneck.

During the week, he trained his devil fruits, successfully promoting the two new devil fruits to a higher level. His lighting and door-door devil fruits reached the S-rank successfully which made him pleased.

Right now, Alex was on Sabaody Archipelago once again to meet the Supernovas who have now appeared here to head to the New World through the Fish-men Island.

He leisurely walked through the Groves, looking for the Supernovas who should have appeared here by this time. He only knows that Luffy punched that guy on grove 1 where that auction house was except that he doesn't know where to find the other Supernovas.

After passing through some Groves, he reached Grove 21 and finally saw some familiar faces there. With a smile on his face, he walked forward, heading toward the group. "Hello, everyone."

"Warlord Alex…." Law one of the pirate captains present there took some steps backwards with a cautious expression. 

This didn't go unnoticed by the other people who were there with him.

"Don't tell me that you are afraid of him, Surgeon Of Death?" A large man with wings on his back taunted Law with a mocking smile. "He is just like us, a Supernova who got lucky enough to defeat Crocodile."

"Don't take him lightly, Mad Monk." Another Supernova with an X on his chest spoke with a serious expression. "He didn't get that position for doing nothing. The World Government isn't that stupid, you know."

Alex, amused by their words, smiled slightly and then disappeared from his place, startling all of them. The next second, he appeared in his place once again. "Don't worry, I just went to get rid of a small bug. Now, we can all talk peacefully."

They initially didn't understand his words however their eyes soon widened in shock when Urouge, the Mad Monk suddenly fell to the ground lifeless with blood gushing out of his neck non-stop.

[Does the host want to plunder the corpse of Urouge?"]

'Plunder.' He mentally commanded the system before looking at the pirates in front of him. "He wasn't capable of surviving the New World so I just helped him to go to a better place."

"What do you want?" Law asked with a serious tone, placing his hand on the hilt of his sword. Drake too stepped back, ready to draw his sword for a surprise attack.

"Don't get so pumped up, boys." Alex chuckled slightly and took some steps forward. "I just came here to see the people who were in the same generation of pirates as me, however…" Saying that he shook his head with a disappointed expression before walking away from the group, heading to the next Grove.

"What's his problem?" Drake said with an angry tone and then walked away from the area. Though after walking some distance away, he took out a small Den-Den Mushi from his pocket.

Law stood there, stunned and angry at the whole ordeal that happened before him. He thought that he had gotten stronger and now could fight that man, however, this encounter opened his eyes. "I couldn't even see him moving from his place….."

"I still need to prepare a lot before I could slaughter that man," Law mumbled with a determined expression and then walked away from the area, heading toward a different Grove.

Alex on the other hand looked at the notification that appeared after he killed that pirate captain. "That guy was so weak yet he managed to survive in the New World….."

On the way, he did see the other Supernovas as well however he ignored all of them as they were still not that interesting for him to pay attention to them. Instead, he kept heading toward Grove 1 to meet Luffy and Kid.

The human auction house on Grove 1 was today packed with a lot of people. There were nobles, pirates and even World Nobles inside the auction house.

In the front seats, three World Nobles were sitting with excited expressions on their faces. They were Saint Charlos, Saint Shalria and their father Saint Rosward.

On the last seats, two of twelve Supernovas, Eustass Kid and Trafalgar D. Water Law were sitting who had just arrived here to watch the auction live.

Alex was also here however he was in his stealth mode and was leaning back on the wall, glancing at the World Nobles with a strange glint in his eyes.

The auction began however just like in anime, the first person who appeared on the stage bit his tongue and died much to the anger of the owner of the auction house.

To save the reputation of his auction house, he brought out the mermaid that he had received recently. The moment the fishbowl appeared along with the mermaid inside it, everyone began to murmur in excitement.

Though before anyone could bid for her, Saint Charlos stood up from his seat with a delighted smile. "500 million berries. I want her as my new pet." He loudly said while picking his nose causing everyone to quiet down instantly as no one had the money and neither the guts to bid against a World Noble.

Charlos turned to look at his sister and father with an excited smile. "I am gonna put this fish in a swimming pool full of piranhas so I can see her run for her life."

Before Disco the auction owner could seal the deal, Luffy along with his crew entered the auction house by breaking through the door which caused a lot of commotion.

Alex kept watching the entire thing with an amused smile on his face. Even though he changed a lot of things in this world, there were still many things which were happening the same as the one shown in anime.

The moment Luffy punched Charlos, everyone began to run outside of the auction house as none of them wanted to face the wrath of an Admiral.

Since there was no collar on the neck of the Mermaid, the straw hat pirates easily took her out of the fishbowl and then began to walk outside, not caring about the fact that an Admiral was soon going to come here. The guards of World Nobles tried to stop them however they were easily taken down by the other straw hat pirates.

After everyone left the auction house including the two other Supernovas, Alex came out of his stealth mode and used his Conqueror Haki to knock down the other two World Nobles as well.

He then walked toward the family and crushed the head of Charlos and Shalria by dropping a large piece of rock on them. After that, he began to use his Hypnosis skill on Rosward to make him the perfect slave.

"Hey, wake up now." After he was done altering his mind, Alex kicked him multiple times to wake him up. "Listen carefully, from now on, you need to do……."

On Grove 12, Admiral Kizaru stood with Sentomaru along with Bartholomew Kuma who was still reading a Bible, not paying attention to anyone.

"Oh my, are you planning to go against the World Government?" Kizaru asked in a laid-back tone while glancing at Kuma from the corner of his eyes.

He already dealt with the so-called Supernovas and now was ready to deal with the Straw hat pirates; however, when he was about to land the final blow on them, they were all sent away by the Warlord Kuma.

"I'm gonna report this to the Fleet Admiral," Sentomaru said with an angry expression while looking at the Warlord with a suspicious gaze. "You helped those pirates to escape from this place….."

"I didn't do anything like that," Kuma replied with a monotone voice and then closed his book. "I just wasn't aware that I didn't have gloves on my hands which caused me to use my devil fruit power unknowingly."

Kizaru kept looking at him for some time before he pointed a finger toward the Warlord which began to glow, however after some seconds, he halted the attack. "I didn't come here to deal with a Warlord so I'll go back since my work here is done." Saying that his entire body began to glow before it turned into light particles. "Make sure to get those World Nobles, Sentomaru."

Hearing the order, Sentomaru looked quite dissatisfied however he still began to walk toward the auction house. Though he turned around for once and glared at the Warlord with a furious gaze. "Let's see how many times you'll do wrong things before turning into a cyborg with no thoughts….."

Hearing those mocking words, Kuma didn't say anything, instead, he turned to look at a tree that was in the corner. "You should leave the area as soon as possible otherwise you might get caught by the Marines."

A pink-haired woman came out with a painful expression on her face. "Why can't you run away from these damn Marines, father? What's stopping you?"

Kuma shook his head slightly and opened the Bible once again. "You won't understand Bonney even if I tell you." Saying that he began to jump in the air, heading out of the Sabaody Archipelago.

"Why won't I understand it, father…..?" Bonney mutated with a miserable expression, trying to hold back her tears from leaking out. "You never taught me to begin with so how could I understand your thoughts…..?"
