Chapter 8: Chapter 7. Jango Got An OP Ability?

Since Kuro went to the shore to wait for his subordinates, Alex along with the girls has gotten 3 hours to practice with their devil fruits.

In the corner of the Garden, Kaya kept practising with her light powers, making it appear rapidly in her arms and as well as to increase the size of it.

Nami was instructed by Alex to just relax since if he had given her some kind of training, it would have left them exhausted and she wouldn't be able to join the upcoming battle.

Nojiko on the other hand got personal training from Alex. He kept instructing her to increase the speed at which she creates branches. He was also attacking her body without using armament haki which helped her to understand how she could increase the regeneration speed.

After the three hours had passed, Alex's observation haki picked up some presences which were very near to the shore where Kuro was. Knowing this, he stopped the training and told everyone to follow him.

Kaya went back to her room and took out the pistol once again and hid it under her pants pocket. Walking outside of the room, she met the old butler Marry who was looking at her worryingly. "You should go and rest now. I have Alex with me right now so nothing would happen to me."

"I know that my lady but as your butler, I should stay with you, especially on such dangerous occasions." Marry spoke in a serious tone, not intending to back down from going with them.

Kaya chose not to say anything and went out of the mansion where the other three people were waiting for her. Turning to look at her captain, she spoke. "Marry wants to come with us. He is worried about me."

"Let him do whatever he wants." Alex didn't care much about that old butler. Glancing at everyone from the corner of his eyes, he nodded slightly. "Let's go everyone, the enemies are already on the shore."

Using his devil fruit powers, he floated in the air along with everyone else and flew toward the shore to greet the new incoming pirates.

The three girls were excitedly looking around themselves as it was their first time to fly directly not by standing on a flying ship. The trio of girls grabbed each other's hands and began to talk among themselves.

Marry was left behind on the ground and no one had any problem with it since the old man would just make things difficult for them if he got attacked by someone.

In less than two minutes, they reached the cliff from where they could see at least 40-50 people with different types of weapons in their hands.

"Can we win against them, captain?" Kaya asked with a serious expression. The enemy had a numerical advantage which made it difficult for them to handle them at the same time.

"Of course, we win against them." Alex didn't even have a serious expression while he looked at so many enemies. "Nami, you are going to fight with the guy with a locket. Nojiko, you are going to fight with those 2 brothers and Kaya, you are going to fight the guy with the rainbow wig." He ordered everyone in a single breath and no one was against it.

"Leave Kuro and the rest of them to me." Saying that he jumped down from the cliff and used his Conqueror haki on the low-levelled pirates, knocking them down in an instant.

"What was that captain Kuro?"

"He just appeared and everyone fell unconscious. What happened?"

The enemies were already scared and didn't want to fight any longer. What could they even do against someone like him who could knock down so many people at the same time without doing anything?

Just like the enemies, the girls were also very shocked by this. Even though Nojiko had seen this before, however, the shock she felt was the same as the other two girls.

"Don't worry about him. I'll handle that guy on my own. You all need to take care of the girls who have come here with him." Kuro ordered his subordinates with a murderous expression to which they all nodded and rushed toward the girls.

They didn't want to fight the guy but that doesn't mean that they aren't willing to fight and kill some weak girls.

The girls also climbed down from the cliff, supported by the tree branches that were created by Nojiko. The moment they touched the ground, they all scattered to fight their respective opponents, chosen by their captain.

Looking at Kuro who was preparing to go in his God mode, Alex sneered in disgust and disappeared from his place. 

Appearing in front of Kuro, he slapped him so hard that the guy flew down some distance away. Kuro's right side of their face was swollen and half of his teeth fell on the ground.

With a smile on his face, he jumped on the cliff and began to watch the battles that were happening on the shore at different parts.

Kaya's fight with the rainbow wig guy was quite decent for a newcomer. She was almost dodging all of the attacks of the opponent by reflex, however, she wasn't able to land a solid attack either cause she didn't know how to attack.

Her eyes were narrowed in displeasure before she took out the pistol from her pocket and shot the rainbow wig guy in the leg. Though after she shot him, she looked at her hands with a shocked expression.

Alex was happy with this development and knew that her devil fruit was already affecting her consciousness. He turned to look at Nami however there was nothing to see there as she had already knocked out that guy and now she was checking his pockets for money.

"I don't think that she will change her habits so soon…." He muttered under his breath with an amused smile and turned to look at Nojiko only to see the two brothers getting stabbed in multiple body parts by the tree branches that she had created.

"It seems that everyone is already done with their battles." Alex jumped down from the cliff and clapped his hands multiple times. "You all did a very good job. You should now go back and sleep, I'll still have some work to do."

The girls gathered around him and smiled when he praised them except for Nami who was sulking cause she didn't find any money on the ship. She kept cursing them for being so poor much to the amusement of others.

"By the way, Kaya," Alex called her out and pointed toward the unconscious Kuro. "You can take him with you to teach him some proper lessons. Though make sure that he isn't dead, he is still useful." Alex didn't care even if Kuro ended up dead, however ordering something like this was still important to check whether her revenge is important for her or not.

"T-Thank you, Alex." Kaya happily said before she walked toward the unconscious Kuro. Everyone could feel the murderous atmosphere around her.

"Make sure to stab his legs so he won't run away, Nojiko." Alex reminded his first crew member then he began to walk toward the place where the unconscious Jango was.

Nojiko immediately brought out some branches and stabbed the legs of Kuro before lifting him. "Let's go girls. Captain will come back home later." Bringing out some more branches, she helped the girls to climb the cliff.

The girls glanced at Alex for a moment and then they all began to walk back to the mansion with different expressions on their faces.

When they were gone, a crazy smile appeared on his face as he looked at the unconscious Jango. "You had such a good ability, Jango yet you couldn't bring out the full potential of it. Tsk! Tsk! Oda sure knows how to give good things to people like you to waste."

Without wasting any time, he covered his leg with armament haki and directly smashed Jango's head causing blood to scatter around along with pieces of his brain.

Not batting an eye at the scene, he caused, instead he looked at the notification that just appeared in front of him.

"Agree." Immediately new information began to appear in his mind related to the skill he had just gotten. Even though it was named Hypnosis by the system, it was a skill that allows anyone to do a lot of things related to the brain.

It was a skill that'll allow him to erase, alter or even add new memories to anyone's brain. Though the targeted person either needs to be weaker or in very bad condition so he won't be able to resist the work of the user.

Though as of now, he can only erase memory along with simple hypnosis. He still needs to practice a lot to increase the level of this skill.

"Thankfully, I have gotten so many experimental subjects today….." He whispered with a happy smile, looking at the unconscious pirates.

He took out the hypnosis tool from Jango's pocket and then walked toward the nearby unconscious pirate. "When my level will increase, I wouldn't have to use this kind of stupid thing to help me use my skill."

The 17th branch of the Marine was quite lively today. A lot of Marines kept going out and into the Marine base, doing their tasks to maintain peace in their area of jurisdiction. 

Inside the biggest of the 17th branch, sat a man in his forties, wearing the standard uniform of a Marine Lieutenant. He was reading the newspaper while drinking his morning tea.

Suddenly the door was opened without any prior knock. A petty Marine officer came inside with an anxious expression. "Sir Lieutenant, we have a big problem."

"What happened?" The Lieutenant asked with a displeased expression, not liking the fact that his morning tea time was disturbed.

"A y-young man is flying toward our base. Beside him, there are two more people. Though it seems that they are dead." The petty officer explained everything in one breath and then he waited for the order.

"What….??"The Lieutenant immediately stood up from his seat, dropping the teacup on the ground. Not caring about the teacup and newspaper, he hurriedly walked outside, intending to see the upcoming young man.

The incident of sudden fall of an entire island caused a very big wave in the world. The navy, the big pirates, and even the revolutionary army had started to pay attention to the weakest sea.

They all wanted to see the person who managed to kill Shiki The Golden Lion on his island. Though everything began to calm down slowly as there was no news about it anymore.

Even though the other factions had stopped paying attention, the World Government instantly told every base to get ready and search for the devil fruit that might be produced in any place in East Blue.

Though before they could start searching for the devil fruit, sudden news came that once again made a wave in the entire sea. The 16th branch of Marine was destroyed by a giant ball.

The Marine Headquarters immediately alerted East Blue Marine bases once again to look for the person who had eaten Shiki devil fruit. Though they also warned everyone not to engage in a direct battle against that person.

The other Marine officers also came out of the base to see the incoming young man.

Alex landed in front of the Lieutenant marine while throwing the two bodies toward the marines. "I came here to get the bounty of these two pirates." He said with a smile, not minding the curious and hateful gazes on him.

The Lieutenant motioned for one of the marine officers to check the bodies. "One body belongs to the captain of Buggy pirates while the other body belongs to the Kuro who was considered dead."

"Get their bounties." The Lieutenant didn't pay much attention to them, instead, he was looking at the young man who didn't seem to fear them.

After 5 minutes, a marine officer came and gave a bag to Alex which contained 22 million bellies, the combined bounty of Kuro and Buggy.

Even after getting the bag, he didn't put it inside his system storage instead he glanced around and pointed a finger at a marine officer. "You there! The one with the camera. Come here."

The marine officer trembled slightly and turned to the Lieutenant who simply nodded at him. Seeing this, he calmed himself and walked forward. "What can I do for you, bounty hunter?"

"My name is Alex, a new pirate. I was the one who killed Shiki, Kuro, Buggy, and Arlong. Even destroyed that Marine base yet I didn't get any bounty on my head. It's because of a lack of information about me, right?" Alex asked him with a small smile to which the marine officer nodded with a fearful expression. "Then now that you have information, take my photos and make sure to give me a good bounty."

The marine officer along with the other marine officers was quite stunned after hearing his words. As far as he was aware, there was no pirate on the sea who asked for a bounty while standing at the entrance of the marine base.

Alex didn't care about their stunned gazes; instead, he motioned the officer to take his photos while he stood with a calm expression. After he was done with the photo shoot, he turned to look at the Lieutenant. "Tell your higher-ups that I'm aiming for the seat of one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea so they should consider me as their ally……" Saying that he flew into the sky and disappeared from everyone's view.

"You didn't do anything against him, Sir Lieutenant…." One of the marine officers said with a hint of anger on his face. As a marine, it was their shame that they didn't catch someone who had killed fellow marines just to get some bounty on his head.

"You don't understand….." The Lieutenant muttered under his breath, his forehead was now covered in sweat. "He is a very dangerous guy……."
