Chapter 16: Ch15: Understanding a part of the skill

"You can take a punch but you hit like a baby! Get up, I still want revenge for my wasted candy!" Little 4 was proudly standing above Ghel while the later had tears in his eyes.

Sparring? It was over two hours but his quest of sparring with a giant still was not fullfiled. It wasn't like he didn't try!

Magic? The giantess laughed and even used his icicle as a toothpick! Fists or legs? No chance! The only thing which saved him some incoming pain was his reflexes.

"Can we take a short break? I didn't even eat yet!" It wasn't like he didn't want to get stronger but this was hell.

Big 2 on the side shook her head. "Big Sis told us to not let you sleep or eat the first two days. Also forget about leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if she waits right beside the rune on the other side."

Ghel thought back to his first few days in the forest. It was almost the same. The difference was that he didn't get tortured by a giant. How long didn't he eat there? 5 days or was it 6? He couldn't remember.

"Ughh 5 days..." He made a memo. Next people to get revenge, Battle Giants. No they weren't at fault. As gor that devil...yep, he needs to get stronger. He also didn't know what his skill could actually do. 

He stood up while breathing heavily and gazed at the giantess. He saw her smirk and could only shake his head. Why did he even try to fight her head on? There was a much better solution.

"Ahh well, can we exchange partners though? It seems like her fists and legs can't really hurt me anymore. Maybe she got to weak after eating all her bad candies."

It had to come. Not even a second after he said bad candies was a fist incoming.

"Gotch'a." The next thing happend fast. Ghel made a hand motion and froze the ground where Little 4 just wanted to put her foot. A smirk was on his face. Sadly he underestimated her sheer power.

She saw the hand moving and knew what he was up to. The element he used was ice. It was a no brainer for her to what he thought. A soft step became a forceful one.

Ghel saw her use more strength and laughed inside. With a quick roll was he underneath her arm. Now came the hard part.

Little 4's left foot was now a bit into the ground. Before she touched the ice did Ghel unfreeze it. Magic may be called magic but it still was a physical law. What does ice do when melted? Turn into water!

A hit was on her leg but didn't hurt her much. That was until she realized that she fell forward. 

"W-what?!" That was the only thing she could say before her face was planted on the ground. The three people watching were astonished. What control of battle! As if he were seeing the future.

Little 4 was on the ground dumbfounded and her face slowly turned dark. That little asshole didn't only waste a candy of her he even played such trickes!

Big 2 saw her little sisters change and intervened.

"Thats enough. Little 4, go punsh the wall. I will take over!" The giantess on the ground wanted to say something but she didn't dare to refuse. She could only glare at Ghel who had now a smile on his face.

Big 2 walked to Ghel and nodded. 

"The endurance is good. The brain needs some training. I pressume you didn't have many death fights?"

Ghel was kneeling on the ground. The "sparing" did take some energy.

"Death fights? I mostly run. The only fight to death I had...no never had one. So obvious?"

He wouldn't say no to real battle advice. If you didn't go out and looked for trouble you were mostly save in this place. Also these giants were literaly born from the fighting intent of the war god. He would even take advice from Little 8 or Little 7.

"No wonder. Its easy. What do you think happens when a tiger cub angers an adult tiger?"

Again with the questions, did he have "ask me anything" written o the mask?

"The cub would get punished? I don't know I never saw a tiger in real life." Big 3 facepalmed behind the two while Big 2 just had a twitching mouth. Little 1 on the other hand was also shaking his head. 

The giantess didn't say anything and just pointed at a wall. When Ghel saw what was going on there did he also begin to twitch, just for another reason.

Little 4 was carving human figure on the wall. A mask on its head. It did look funny but he knew who it should represent. The next thing he saw was, nicely said, chaos.

A fury of fist were thrown. It didn't make as much vibrations  or sound like the punch which Big 2 did when he just came in but the might behind them was insane. He could only swallow some saliva when he saw that.

If she did that to him, he would be mashed potato.

Could it be..the quest wasn't done because she held back? That was a possibilty, sparring was about nor holding back but not to injure one at the same time. How can one learn if they always get pampered?

Ghel gazed at Big 2 before saying with a little stutter. "C-could you not hold back for the first round? It's not good right?"

At first did she look at him as if he was crazy, Big 3 and Little 1 had the same expression. When they thought about his physic it would make sense to not hold back though.

"Don't cry to me later." Why did he see a shadow of that little devil in her smile?

One minute later was he on the ground while looking at the ceiling.

"Don't you think the stars look nice tonight?" 

"Ohh you want to fly now? I could arrange that? I just have to throw you through the ceiling. I think Big Sis said we are about 2km underground."

Ghel jumped up on his feet instantly. "No no! I was just joking." His whole body looked bloated. It was simple to know what happend. Ghel mets fist, flies and mets wall. The sad part? She picked him up and put him back where he was before. Repeating it over 6 times.

"Could I take just one minute off?"

Big 2 gazed at him and nodded. "One minute from now. 60..59.."

What the fuck?! 

"Open."
