But as you rise to the next level you hear a large commotion. Not dissimilar from the one in the dome, though, as you listen more diligently, you’re quite sure that there are no orgies this time. Not yet anyway. At the top of the stairs there’s a single woman stationed, probably as a guard. Her life ends the moment she sees Ariadne’s axe, inches away from her face.
Passing a corner through the corridor, you see a massive hall just up ahead. It appears that the corridor you came from is one of the side entrances to the hall.
“Gamma, take away the torches,” you say to the bunny girl, as you find it more preferable to not be spotted straight away and rather stay in the shadows.
From what you can tell this is the mess hall. With two long wooden tables, no less than forty yards each, with equally long wooden benches, centered in the middle. At those tables, you’d estimate around forty or fifty people sit sporadically, all of them men, as far as you can tell. At the end of the hall, you see what could only be an iron throne, drowning in a pile of pillows for comfort. On those pillows sits a young man. You realize who it is the moment you see the same pair of long, white bunny ears that you saw on Chi.
The young man is laying back on his comfy pillows in a haughty, arrogant manner. He has adorned himself in red and golden robes, with lots of jewelry—a different ring on nearly every finger, each with a gem or a ruby. His short spiky, white hair is partially hidden by a literal golden crown on his head, adorned with red emeralds. He has several golden chains resting on his naked, toned chest, as the robes are partially open to reveal a slim, but well-kept body. Xi, was it? You try to recall the bird-monster’s words.
The other, and probably the main reason Xi is partially naked, is to have his long shaft out, that one of the two women in front of him is servicing. At that moment you hear footsteps and see your sister run past you into the hall with her axe drawn and screaming, “I’LL KILL YOU!!”
