The perspectives of time inside the library was faster than usual, which made the 24 hours I spent inside, 2 hours in the out.
Felicia was still in trance but I could sense she was in her last straws. She was able to withstand the pain for much longer than I expected, which was nothing to be surprised or shocked, she may have been an idiot but she was not weak willed.
"Arghhhh!!!" I looked at her crying in pain as her pores opened and the excess Qi started to swirl around her, they began to descend and rise at the same time towards her legs and forehead.
The red Qi began to condense into her head and her eyes began to emit a crimson glow, I smiled as I felt the Fates in action. She is awakening her talent and I was slightly excited to see it.. slightly.
Her cries of agony began to increase and I spread my Chi across the room silencing the sound of her pain before they could reach out, her body started to twitch as her eyes began to glow brighter and brighter.
Then suddenly nothing, she fell down as the light vanished, she was still conscious although barely.
I walked towards her and knelt down with my face against hers. I leaned in and whispered into her ears. "You have done well."

[Felicia Pov]
"Ahhh!!" My eyes jolted open as I felt like I was drowning into the floor but the panic was short-lived, I looked around, finding myself in my bed.
I sighed in relief as I fell back, how the hell did I come here? Last thing I remember… my eyes were melting, no, I felt like they were melting.. Zen, I must have done some Murim shit he talks about.. but when did I change the dress… of course him.
I sat up with my back against the wall, I looked at the mirror straight opposite to me, everyday I wake up, I look at it and all I can see is a weak girl struggling against a bastard, a pathetic idiot that isn't able to stand for herself.
What if Zen didn't come that day? It was a question I kept asking myself every night.. not that I have the nights for myself, Zen is mostly around, still what would have happened if he didn't show up... frankly I don't want to think about it but I know I should overcome this weak, pathetic, idiotic self as Zen likes to say.
*Creak.. Creak.. Creak*
My eyes immediately darted towards the window, I gulped as I heard a bunch of footsteps, walking at the sill, approaching me.
*Creak.. Creak*
I stood up and slowly walked towards the outlet, the footsteps stopped as did I, right as I was about to move up I heard it jump in. I sighed in relief and walked forward without hesitation, the footsteps belonged to.
"Mr.Freckles." I called his name as I slowly picked him. "You almost gave me a heart attack."
"Meow." He twirled inside my arms.
"Wait, did I just hear you walk?" That's when my senses started to go haywire, suddenly I could hear all the little creaks from the thermostats, the wind traveling through the panels, every hair on Freckles moving up and down.

"Woah!" I put down Freckles as I moved backwards, my steps halted as I fell on the bed, my hearing began to get stronger and stronger, an unmountable pressure began to press me down, it was like someone turned up the whole gravity.
"Woah! Woah! What the fuck?!!" I closed my ears and yelled. I couldn't handle it, I wanna go out, I want to breathe, I want to move, I want to-
"Calm down." In the midst of the madness of noises I heard a clear voice. "Focus."
My mind followed it almost like a command, it took me a few seconds to concentrate and I could feel the pressure fade out, it was still there but not enough to press me back, I slowly pushed myself up using the bed but suddenly I heard a crack, one of the legs of the bed gave out.
"Damn it." I cursed as I stood up and walked toward the door, I gripped the knob and twisted it but the door didn't open instead I crushed the knob. "What the-."
I threw it back and gently pressed the outer turn and opened the door. I stepped out of the room and walked down stairs. I looked back as I heard a step, Freckles was following behind me.
As soon as I came down I bit my lips unconsciously and gulped at the sight before.
Zen's whole body was moving up and down, he was not wearing anything to cover his chest and I could clearly see all his toned muscles and smooth skin, sweat trickled all over them and they slowly dripped down from his head and fell on the floor, his whole body weight was balanced on his two fingers and he didn't seem to be tried at all.
"3780.. 3781.. 3782." He counted at each push. "You slept for a day, 3783, how do you feel? 3784."
I looked at him with a smile on my face. "Strong."
"Is it enough?" He immediately questioned back.
I clenched my first and gripped it tighter, was it enough? "No."
As I said that I saw Mr.Freckles trying to lick his supporting hand, Zen stopped the push up and with his other hand tied behind his back, he caught Freckles and threw him out through the window.
"Oh my god!!" I cried in panic as I ran towards the window and thank God, Mr.Freckles landed safely in the grass.
"What the hell Zen?!" I called out but he didn't seem to care about that and continued with his work-out.
Once he reached 3800 or something he stood still without going further, I took a step back as he pushed back with his fingers and landed on his feet, his hair swaying all through it like The little mermaid out of the Ocean.
"Felicia." He locked his eyes on mine and sensually called my name.. or was it just me who felt like it, "Freshen up, we are going out."
"Ah.. where?"
"For your first kill."
