So many demons around him. When he turned his head to a restaurant with a glass wall surrounding it, he could see a fat man eating a lot of food like he didn't eat for years.
The table in front of the man was full of food, and Azren couldn't even count how many calories were in the food.
Aside from the man, he could see a demon standing beside the man and continued whispering to the man's ear. Azren didn't recognize the demon, and he couldn't hear the whisper either.
Even so, he could guess that the demon was provoking the man to sin.
Couldn't hold back the desire to eat and become a glutton was one of the seven deadly sins.
Humans should stop eating when they were full, and they could eat again when they were hungry.
When humans couldn't even stop eating even if they were no longer hungry, then they had sinned.
That was simple, but humans indeed needed to restrain their desires. If they failed to do so, then it meant they followed the path of demons.
Unfortunately, the fat man continued eating as he couldn't contain his desires. The demon who was standing near the man smirked evilly as he was successful in provoking the human to sin.
Leaving the sight of the man continued eating the food uncontrollably, Azren found another interesting sight that once again involved a demon.
On the side of the road, a man and a woman were fighting in public shamelessly. They were shouting at each other faces without caring that they became the center of attention now.
The two shameless humans were not the only thing that snatched Azren's attention, but he was attracted to them because a demon was standing near the man. The demon kept provoking the man to sin.
Until the climax happened when the man mercilessly choked the woman's neck and slammed her on the wall.
Azren looked surprised and was about to approach the two humans, but another woman suddenly came into the middle of the dispute and shield the poor woman with her body.
Not only that, but she also snapped at the man and said that she was going to report the man to the police if he continued his act.
It was such a bold act from the woman, and Azren was waiting for the man's reaction.
The man was gritting his teeth, and his hand was also clenched into a fist. However, the man decided to leave the scene in the end.
The demon who followed the man looked upset because he failed to complete his task.
Azren knew that the man couldn't hold his anger, and wrath was one of the seven deadly sins as well.
Seven deadly sins. Those were the most severe sins committed by humans, and those sins were lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride.
If the demons managed to bring humans to commit the seven deadly sins, then they would be able to get a bunch of energy from the sins.
That was why he could see the demon in the restaurant earlier looked so happy after completing the task. The demon got a huge amount of energy because of that.
That was different from the demon who couldn't complete the task just now. The man was afraid of the police, and that meant his rationality was still working.
Thus, the demon who was working on him could only get a little amount of energy from the task.
Azren had also succeeded in provoking Michy to commit one of the seven deadly sins before, and he indeed could feel the strong flow of energy inside his body because of that.
He still remembered the feeling, and he was so eager to feel the feeling again. However, he couldn't think about something like that now.
His focus right now was to find the man that had accused Michy earlier today, and even if it had been quite late in the city, he still brought his legs to find the man.
Yes. That was the actual purpose of him walking on the street and witnessing some demon working in the human world. He had to help Michy find the man just in case Seventius couldn't do that.
The man was not his direct target, and he planned to find some demons first so that he could make some queries.
The two demons earlier were busy with their tasks, so he didn't want to disturb them. He still remembered that he was such a disturbance for other demons in the past, and he didn't want to make the same mistake again.
Azren continued walking aimlessly. It had been quite late, and when he left the penthouse, Michy had been asleep. That was why he didn't bother to let the idol know that he left the residence.
He was still near the apartment building because he was going on foot, and he didn't know which demon he should ask right now.
He continued his stroll, and his step halted when he felt a light tap on his shoulder. Turning his head, he found the familiar redhead that had stolen his first kiss. It was Gizach.
Azren didn't expect that he would bump into the nasty demon again tonight.
"I didn't expect I would see a beauty tonight," the redhead exclaimed joyfully.
Azren rolled his green eyes when he heard the mock, but he wasn't crazy to immediately reply to the demon's insult.
They were in public, and many people walked around him. If he retorted directly, those people surely would think he was out of mind.
Giving Gizach a signal with his eyes, he led the red-haired demon toward a direction.
Gizach was not stupid either, and he just followed the blonde's lead after shrugging carelessly.
"Many humans talking about your target, Azren," Gizach, who was walking behind the blonde, suddenly brought up a different subject. "If you manage to take advantage of this matter, I'm sure you will be able to complete your mission soon."
Azren halted his steps upon hearing Gizach's statement. It was such an interesting statement, but he had to hold himself before finding a safe place to talk.
They continued walking in silence until finally, they arrived at a deserted alley that was far from the center of the noise.
"What do you mean I should take advantage of this matter? Michy is in misery right now, and I want to help him to find the man that caused the trouble," Azren finally replied to the other demon while furrowing his brows.
Gizach, who remained a nasty demon, smirked while leaning forward to the blonde's face. Azren needed to step back to keep the distance between him.
The redhead snorted while glaring at the blonde. "Do you think my information will be free? Kiss me first, and I will tell you the details," he sneakily voiced out a condition.
Azren was not a cheap demon. It was enough for him to be fooled by Gizach once, and he didn't want to get fooled twice.
If Gizach didn't want to help him, then all he needed to do was try to find another demon.
Without uttering any words, he turned around and was about to leave the redhead, but he suddenly heard the other demon sighing heavily.
He decided to peep at the demon without turning around his body. He knew that he won the battle tonight.
"You look so desperate tonight, so I'll give you the information for free. Maybe you can reward me later when you finally can go back to Hell," Gizach finally relented, and Azren secretly smiled in victory.
Even if Gizach was still a cunning demon for his hidden motive, Azren still saw this opportunity to dig more information from the nasty demon.
"Just tell me what you want to say. It's not like I would use your idea right away," Azren replied to the demon coldly.
Gizach could be crazy sometimes, and no one could guarantee that the idea would be good. Azren wasn't stupid to swallow anything without contemplating the outcome.
"You indeed have changed a lot, Azren. Now you dare to speak arrogantly to me?" Gizach spoke again while raising his brows. "But I'm in a good mood tonight, so I'll tell you my idea regarding your target's condition now."
Azren finally was willing to turn around and face the demon directly. He was waiting for the demon to speak again, and he hoped the information from the redhead would be useful.
"Your target's emotions are not stable now, and you can take advantage of the condition. One of the seven deadly sins is wrath, so how about you provoke your target so he would get angry at the man who accused him, and he would end up killing that man?" Gizach just voiced out a crazy idea, and the pair of emerald eyes widened in surprise.
Indeed. Gizach's idea was crazy.
"You want my target to kill that man?"
Probably he shouldn't have listened to it in the first place.
