It was just a simple greeting from Elias, but it stunned both Azren and Michy. The latter even turned his head a little so that he could catch a glimpse of Elias at the back seat.
Azren blinked confusedly as he questioned the man, "How do you know my name? I don't think I've said my name before."
Both Azren and Michy were shocked when the golden-eyed man suddenly mentioned Azren's name. Azren had not introduced himself yet, and Michy didn't mention his name either.
At first, Azren thought that Michy was the one who told his name to the man behind his back, but when he saw Michy's shocked expression, he knew that Michy had never mentioned his name to the man either.
Even if Michy and Elias seemed to have something behind his back, Michy had never said his name to the man. He was not important to the silver-haired idol, after all.
"Oh? Should I not know the name of Michy's assistant?" Elias asked the question in confusion. "I found it on one of the forums on the internet, and they wrote the name 'Azren' as the name of Michy's assistant in the video. I think it's normal for the public to know the name."
The pair of emerald eyes enlarged upon hearing the answer. His face had been exposed to the public because of the video, but he didn't expect that there was a forum where someone dared to write his name too.
He was not a celebrity, and when it was only his face that was exposed to the public, that was already a bad thing for him. Now that the public also knew his name, Azren's face turned pale.
'Human world is so scary. I'd rather live in the demon world,' the demon thought as his body shivered.
Even if he was bullied in the demon world, the other demons bullied him based on the fact. The other demons didn't make up some facts as the humans did.
'Now that I think about it, humans can be eviler than demons.'
That was such a ridiculous thought, but Azren probably forgot that the humans could do something like that because of the demons' provocation.
Shaking his head, Azren knew that it was not the time to compare the demon world to the human world.
He had to focus on his life in the human world now. Maybe he could ask Felice later. He should ask the manager to block the forum so his name wouldn't spread any further.
"Ah, right," Azren finally went back to Elias. "My name is indeed Azren, but I don't know that my humble name is also on the forum."
It was still the innocent demon, and the innocent demon replied to Elias sheepishly. Perhaps he was embarrassed because he had made baseless assumptions regarding Elias before.
"Your name sounds good name, but I don't think that name suits you, Azren," Elias replied while smiling at the green-eyed man.
"Oh?" Azren looked surprised when he heard the man's answer. "You don't think the name suits me? Then, what name suits me better?"
The two blonds were involved in a conversation all of a sudden, but before Elias could answer Azren's question, they could hear someone coughing in the car. Turning their heads simultaneously, they found it was Michy who faked coughing.
From the idol's expression, Azren could tell that Michy was uncomfortable. "Do you need anything, Michy?" He asked the silver-haired idol.
"You still got the nerves to ask me that when you're wasting my time like this?" The idol snapped at his assistant. "Just stop the nonsense and continue driving the car." He then turned to face the road ahead of him again. "And if that person doesn't want to go to the hospital, then you just have to ask him where he lives. After that, you can take him home."
Michy used the phrase 'that person,' but Azren knew so well who 'that person' was.
The idol continued to treat the man sitting in the back seat like a stranger when he clearly knew the man, and it confused Azren.
Instead of directly speaking with Elias, Michy decided to use Azren as the bridge of communication. It looked like Michy was treating Elias as a plague. He didn't even want to sit in the back seat because he didn't want to stay close to the man.
Azren was curious, but he decided to comply with the idol's wish to continue driving the car.
"Where do you live, Elias? We will drop you at your house if you don't want to visit the hospital," Azren spoke to the other blonde man as he focused on driving the car.
Elias asked him to drop the formality, and he did. For some reason, it was comfortable for him to call the man that way.
He didn't get an immediate answer, and when he peeked at the man through the rearview mirror, he could see the man looked troubled at the back seat.
Azren frowned at the sight, but he still patiently waited for the man to answer his question.
"I... I don't have a place to live," Elias finally answered hesitantly, even ducking his head to make him look even more miserable.
Azren was still peering at the man through the rearview mirror, but then he glanced at Michy, who was sitting on the passenger seat next to him.
Michy's face remained expressionless even after hearing Elias' response, and the demon furrowed his brows at the sight.
"I don't mean to pry, but why don't you have a place to live? I think all humans have a home to live in," Azren decided to leave Michy alone while refocusing his eyes on the road.
The human brain was sometimes too simple. All the demons in the demon world had a place to live, and even if the demon house was different from humans, he thought all humans would also have a place to live.
Besides, humans were weaker than demons, so they had to have a shelter that would protect them from the sun and rain.
That was a simple thought, but it seemed that the case was not simple for Elias.
"It's a long story, and I can't tell you about that now. But yeah, I indeed don't have a place to stay right now," the golden-eyed man at the back seat spoke again. "If it's possible, can I live with you temporarily, Azren?"
Another shocking sentence from Elias, and both Azren and Michy flinched when they heard the question.
Again, Azren glanced at Michy silently. He indeed had a simple thought that all humans had their house, but he just realized that he didn't have a house and was living with Michy now.
He was disguising himself as a human, and Lucifer didn't bother to assign a house for him in the human world. He and Elias were just both homeless and hopeless for different reasons.
"I'm sorry, Elias," Azren replied in a tone full of guilt. "I know that I was the one who accidentally hit you earlier, and I know that I should take responsibility for that. But, I don't have a house myself, so I can't let you stay with me."
Maybe it sounded like an excuse if someone else said something like that. Elias was a stranger with no clear background, and when strangers like him said he had no home to live in and wanted to live with other people, he probably just wanted to deceive those people.
That was why normal people usually made excuses so they could say no to that guy. They didn't want to risk their lives by inviting a stranger into their house.
However, Azren was telling the truth just now. He indeed didn't have a house to stay, so he couldn't offer help to Elias even if he wanted to. He felt bad, but he couldn't help it.
"Is that so?" Elias spoke again in a sad tone. "It's okay then. You can just drop me anywhere, and I will find a place to stay later."
In Azren's ears, Elias's words sounded so desperate, and it pinched his heart a little.
"Why did you ask me to drop you anywhere? Do you even have money with you? Do you have any place you want to visit?" Azren was still feeling guilty, and he didn't immediately agree with the man's request to drop the man anywhere.
"You don't need to worry," Elias spoke again, still with a smile on his face. "I'm an adult, and even if I sleep on the street, no one will harass me."
Elias reassured him that he would be alright, but Azren felt even more worried about the golden-eyed man. Glancing at the idol next to him, he suddenly got an idea.
"How about you also live in Michy's penthouse? There's still an empty bedroom in the penthouse, and maybe you can use it," Azren suddenly suggested the idea without Michy's concern, and the idol immediately glared at him.
