Chapter 8: Day 7: They don’t me

Claire's Pov

For almost all my life I have been trying my utmost best to be happy but I fail all the time. Maybe Simon is right to wait he is right I am lonely my life is a mess while his life is golden. The only reason why those guys attacked me is that my family owe them money that we can't afford to pay back 2months after my dad died they killed him and that leaves my mom and my younger brother. We live in a one-room house I work as a delivery girl to earn money to help my mom pay off the bill but it still isn't like this. This hurts so much I hate to see my mom cry I hate to see them feast on bread and warm water every night for dinner I hate to see my little brother cry because he is hungry. Recently he got sick and we had to spend a lot of money at the hospital which makes us fall behind on rent and our debt.

I must find a way to pay off this debt they will us, I need to do something about this sooner or later I have until the end of the year to do so. My school life is horrible too, about 2 days ago some of the girls in my class found out that I was a delivery girl and took pictures now the whole school l am some poor delivery girl and they bully me about it. But I don't care all care about is my family and making them safe and comfortable again. Wait what's this

I GOT MY EYES ON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IF YOU DON'T HAVE MY MONEY BY THE END OF THE YEAR I WILL KILL YOU ALL STARTING WITH THE KID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, no didn't just threaten me and my family, if they ever lay a finger on my brother I will kill them I swear I will kill them!!!!!!!. Damn I hate this world I trust nobody and I will trust nobody. My dad promised that he would be here to protect us but all he did was a gamble and now look where are, I am stuck in the mess because of him, I hate him!!!!!!!!!!!. What am I going to do? 

" Just scream it out loser having it all in one place will not fix things just scream it will help, wait to follow me" stated Simon as he grabs me by the wrist and takes me to the school roof.

Was he watching me all along, doubt if he even knows the true meaning of stress, he probably thinks that I am stressed over some school project or simple nerdy kinds of stuff. 

" Scream loser let it all out  it's kind of irritating seeing you all sad and upset that sucks you know, but learn this from me whatever is bothering you just let it out in some way whatever is worrying you don't worry about it's not worrying about besides worrying about it won't change a thing now scream loser"

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I felt better but of course, the problems didn't go away I felt light-shouldered why is he even helping me?

" Thank you, Thank you for everything Simon" I cried 

" Oh no c'mon don't cry you'll embarrass me loser damn why do you have to be such a wimp, now wrap that up we have class see you at class" stated Simon as he went on his way

I am not a wimp only if you knew who I truly was, but I know when he finds out the truth about me he'll make fun of me too but I don't care, I won't even be at the last class cause I have to work. You are lucky Simon you have nothing to worry about in this life you are rich and you have it all we are two different persons from different worlds so you have no right to call me a loser. I hate this world and I hate him too but  I'm grateful for his kindness toward me. But even though he's a jerk he is always there at the right time when I need someone and he knows just what to do, at this point his whole existence is of interest to me he is a strange fellow.

I don't think he understands what it means to be sad or angry one thing I know is he is human and there must be moments when he is sad and upset no way he can be so nonchalant.
