“What the fuck!” Veronica jumped back in a scare when she saw a stranger getting on his knees and propose to her.
‘And what’s with the tone? Is he from the depths of the Mariana Trench, Turu... Lub...? Are you kidding me?’ Veronica was vigilant.
Meanwhile, Brad, who had just made a fool out of himself, was left standing, looking in shock at the young man. He had just hoped for a nice closure, and all he got was another betrayal?
‘She must be laughing at me,’ Brad thought, and his frustration transformed into regret, followed by Desperation. And in no time, he hated the young man. Brad knew nothing about the young man and had never met him. Even the misunderstanding was his own doing. But nothing mattered now, for he hated the young man. Maybe the cumulative hate he had for Alex and the shame from that day at the restaurant had finally filled the pot to its brim, and unluckily, the young man had to face the brunt of it.
While Brad was staring at the young man intensely, a few guys and girls walked up to him with flowers and banners, celebrating his return. But it was too late, and the damage had been done. Pushing his fans away, Brad made his way out of the airport.
“Ahem... Ahem...” On the other hand, the young man cleared his throat. He hardly cared about Brad or his revenge for now. His main concern was his own actions. Even though they were outside the VIP exit, there was a decent crowd, and veronica might just slap him in front of them. He was just too eager for no reason.
‘But won’t she have to touch me to slap me?’ Suddenly the young man thought, and immediately, he was okay with Veronica hitting him with her soft hands.
“Look, I am not a weird person,” the young man’s speech was back to normal. But before he could explain, Rebecca walked in front of Veronica and took on a defensive position. It was like a rook castling the king.
.....
“What did he ask you to do? ” Rebecca asked in a threatening tone as she pointed at Alex, who was already on his way to them, “And don’t you dare deny it. I saw you talking to him just now.”
Alex already knew something like this would happen as soon as the guy walked toward Veronica and Rebecca. Veronica was easy to handle, and she might just play along with the guy, but Rebecca was poles apart. On her good day, she might entertain you, but on any other normal day, she will chew you raw and won’t even burp. To not let the matter slip out of hand, Alex hurried toward the three of them.
Meanwhile,
“He got nothing to do with this,” the guy defended Alex, “What are you getting so worked up about? Aren’t you just some B-grade actress trying to climb the ladder using her le... le... le...” The guy bashed out at Rebecca, pointing at Veronica’s legs, but as soon as his gaze fell on those smooth, white legs, his words got stuck in his mouth.
But Rebecca was not an amateur. She quickly followed his gaze on Veronica’s legs. To save Veronica from the pervert’s gaze, she pulled out the scarf from her neck and wrapped it around Veronica’s beautiful legs in no time.
“Where are you looking, you stupid pervert?” Rebecca screamed at the guy, getting his attention back to herself.
“Calm down,” Veronica put her hand over Rebecca’s shoulder and said, “Everyone is looking.” Veronica brought Rebecca’s attention to the people around them who had already pulled out their phones.
By this time, Alex had also arrived. He put his hand over the young man’s shoulder and said with a stiff smile on his face, pressing his shoulder, “I knew you were up to no good.”
“Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! You are hurting me,” the young man complained.
But Alex ignored the boy’s whining and looked at the two girls, “I hope he did not cause any nuisance to you guys.”
“Are you kidding me? I am her number one fan,” the guy protested.
“Isn’t that something new,” Rebecca said, crossing her arms over her chest and smirking, “But why do I hear that every time a guy approaches us?”
“Us?” the guy straightened up, getting out of Alex’s arm lock and pointed his finger straight at Rebecca, “You are just a B-grade actress no one has ever heard of, trying to revive her career holding my angel’s thighs.”
“You, bast...” Rebecca wanted to cuss the young man, but he was quick to interrupt her.
“I concede you can take everyone’s breath away without even opening your mouth.” The guy said to everyone’s amazement. Wasn’t he just going at Rebecca full throttle? Why is he praising her now? And the answer was in what he said next.
“So please stay away from me... THE STINK IS KILLING ME,” The guy said, pinching his nose and holding his breath.
“I will kill you...” Rebecca was ready to pounce at him.
“And, I hate that guy,” The young man said, pointing at Brad, who was surrounded by several of his fangirls near his car.
“Where do I sign?” Veronica pulled the angry Rebecca behind him and said without wasting another second.
“Who knew I would meet my angel here? I have nothing but...” the guy expressed his trouble, “But my heart for you to sign,” And saying so, the guy was about to pull off his t-shirt.
“You have your t-shirt. And will you please be aware of your surroundings?” Alex held the boy by his arm and stopped him. Then he looked at Veronica and embarrassedly said, “Sorry, my brother can be a bit handful.”
“Oh, not at all,” Veronica did not mind it at all. In fact, she grabbed the boy by his arm and pulled him close to herself, “How can I be angry at him? He is, after all, my number one fan. I am sure I can do this much for him.” Veronica said, looking meaningfully at Alex. She wanted to see how he would react.
“Believe me,” Alex shook his head, “He has a lot of number one.”
Alex then turned towards his brother, “Damien, didn’t you take me to watch a movie of your number one last time? What was his name again? oh yes, Bra...”
But before he could spill the beans, Damien got away from Veronica’s hold and pulled Alex away, “C’mon, dude, read the mood. Don’t ruin it for me. I beg you,” Damien said as he almost fell at Alex’s feet but was stopped by Alex in time.
It was clear that Damien was much more expressive than Alex could ever be. And he was clever enough to use that against Alex. Alex would never want to be the centre of attention of a crowd, and these theatrics worked against him.
“Can you stop doing this?” Alex looked around, hoping no one saw them, “When will you stop with such theatrics?” Alex reprimanded Damien.
“It’s easy for me to get you to do my bidding this way,” Damien gave a sly smile.
“You care about no one, like always,” Alex shook his head, “But I guess you are still better than those shaking their butts in the middle of a road and recording it.”
“That...” Damien hesitated to answer that, and he quickly changed the topic, “It’s Veronica. I really want her autograph,” Damien said, exerting what it meant for him.
“Will you stop acting like that?” Alex hushed Damien, “I will get it for you. However many you want.” Alex said.
“Really?” Damien’s eyes sparkled with excitement.
“Hey, I don’t like the look in your eyes?” Alex took a step back, “You want the autograph for yourself, right?” Alex asked.
“Of course not,” Damien shook his head, “If you can get me as many as I want, then it’s more than just you and me. It’s a business idea.” Damien grabbed both of Alex’s palms in his and got closer to him with his face inches away.
“Do you know how popular she is out there?” Damien questioned.
“Well, she is quite popular here,” Alex leaned back to put some distance between them.
“She is not just famous here,” Damien instead got even closer, “She is even more famous in other countries. So many guys would sell everything they have just to have her used panties and fart-filled jars. You really don’t have any idea.”
‘Farts?’ Alex scrunched his nose in disgust, ‘Man, which way is this world heading to? Am I the only sane one in this world? What’s with these weird fetishes?’
“Even her autographs can be sold for more than a thousand bucks easily,” Damien had a nasty smile, “It’s easy money.”
“You haven’t given up on that easy money thing?” Alex face-palmed himself, thinking about this weird addiction of his brother.
Damien was very obsessed with the idea of earning money through shortcuts. Coming up with all sorts of business ideas to earn money.
And like this one, they were really weird ideas.
“Hey, are we gonna stand here all day?” Rebecca called out for the two brothers when she lost her patience.
“Coming,” Alex raised his arms, acknowledging and putting his arm around his brother’s shoulder, “Don’t do anything weird for now. There are a lot of people here.”
“Fine,” Damien replied listless, “Always so stuck up.”
“Let’s go,” Alex ignored Damien’s grumbling and said.
“Is he really your brother?” Rebecca asked as the brothers approached Veronica and Rebecca.
