I'm your everyday office worker. My name is Ashton Lewis. And I'm 32 years old.
Since I'm stressed a lot, I don't take care of myself. I have brown, oily hair that slightly reveals my eyes. My eyes are brown as well. Under my eyes, you can see my nose, which is probably a bit too big. And to top it off, I have a lot of wrinkles caused by my stress. Oh, and if you are wondering about my height it's 5'9 (175cm). I like to tell myself that I'm tall, but I hear women talking about how they want a boyfriend who's at least 6'1 (185cm)
I grew up in a two-parent family that lived in a small town near the city. Although the town was pretty shabby, I liked it.
When I was a kid my father drank all day and didn't care about me. He even beat me when he didn't have money for alcohol. At least I couldn't see him very often because of his drinking habit. When he was drunk, he often ended up on the street being beaten, because he often offended others.
My mother took care of me at first, but as time went on, my father became unkind to her, and she started scolding me almost every day. That's because, like me, she was sometimes beaten and humiliated by him.
Since I loved my mother very much, I tried to support her in any way I could and was not bothered by her scolding if that helped her to relax.
The worst aspect of growing up with my parents was my mother's blind love for my father. When she found out that he cheated on her, she started beating me. Sometimes when my mother didn't see my father for 2 to 3 days, her grief levels spiked, and that was the worst part of growing up with my parents. She would not even let me eat and would beat me with a belt when I irritated her.
After my parents divorced at the age of 10, I was sent to an orphanage since they had no interest in taking care of me. The orphanage was a lonely place and I had no friends to talk to. Also, I would miss my parents almost every night, and the only thing I did was cry.
I was adopted at the age of 15 by a middle-aged couple who lived in the city. After that, they sent me to high school. In high school, history repeated itself and I had no friends. I even took beatings from my classmates. That's why I wanted to learn basic martial arts.
My parents didn't have much money to support my decision and so during my free time, I worked a part-time job.
With time, I was already 20 years old as an office worker and wanted to rent my own apartment. But my adopted parents disagreed. So I listened to them. After a few months, I heard them talking about how they only adopted me so that I could take care of them and didn't really care about me.

I felt betrayed at that time, so I left them. And here I am at the age of 32, still a loner, without a girlfriend. I haven't received a raise since 7 years ago and I'm at my wit's end.
My unwillingness to live increased to the point that I had suicidal thoughts and decided to go to a bar and get drunk.
On the way home I needed to pee, so I stopped at the creepiest alley. I was doing my job when a man, probably a robber, asked for my money but I didn't have any, because I'd already spent it. So the guy was irritated, and as a result stabbed me.
As I lay bleeding on the ground, I had flashbacks about my childhood. In the end, everything got dark and I couldn't see anything.
And when I tried to open my eyes I saw...
