“Do it! Keep them alive!”
A loud bang sounded following Ren Baqian’s voice.
The doors of the crushed car at the bottom immediately flew away.
Two burly men in sportswear made their way out of the car with evil grins on their faces.
The few people facing them all looked very cautious. They drew out their palm sized daggers and pointed at the winged cavalry warriors.
Looking at their reaction, Ren Baqian felt as if he was using an atomic bomb to kill mosquitoes.
After so much effort, this is all you have?
Are you teasing me?
Can you even kill a chicken with those daggers?
You definitely can’t kill a chicken from Dayao with those!
Four of them pointed their daggers at the winged cavalry warriors and surrounded them while the other three closed in on Ren Baqian.
“Make sure you don’t kill them!” Ren Baqian warned his men again.
Looking at the small daggers in their hands, he started feeling like he was making a fuss about nothing.
One thing for sure was that they were coming for him.
What he didn’t understand was why they only had a few small daggers—did they really think he was an ordinary person?
If Ren Baqian were an ordinary person, they wouldn’t have to use weapons against him, right?
Ren Baqian was baffled and found it rather amusing.
Even though these people were closing in on him, he wasn’t even tensed up at all.
He could kill them with a swat. Not to mention daggers, it would be useless even if they were wielding 40 meter long swords.
Suddenly, Ren Baqian saw something spouting out of the tips of their daggers.
It was very tiny, and most importantly, it was very close to him—only about two meters away.
Ren Baqian didn’t give it any thought nor did he fall back. He immediately dashed between them, swept his leg across the abdomen of one of them and struck his fists against the chests of the other two.
The distance was too close. Even though he couldn’t completely dodge, he made them miss his vital parts.
Before the three of them could even react, they leaned toward the wall in fright and fell to the ground while throwing up blood.
Ren Baqian felt a sharp pain below his right chest and left shoulder as well.
It was actually a gun that looked like a dagger… Ren Baqian immediately denied it as soon as that thought came to his mind. No, it’s not a gun…
He picked up one of the daggers on the ground and saw something beneath it that looked like a trigger. He didn’t notice it earlier because it was blocked by their fingers when they held it against him just now.
There were also two small holes at the side of the dagger’s guard.
“What is that?” Ren Baqian felt a little puzzled as he held the dagger, wondering what the purpose of the holes was.
He lifted his head and looked to the sides. Those two winged cavalry warriors had also settled their opponents.
Even though the other party wielded weapons, the destructive power of those things raised people’s hackles.
This was especially when they were the ones using them.
Ren Baqian felt that they were merely playing house with him.
At this moment, he suddenly felt a spell of dizziness.
“Darn, it’s a sedative drug! No, it’s an anaesthesia shot!” Ren Baqian immediately realized what had hit him just now.
Luckily, I brought the two of them with me. As soon as he thought this, he heard voices from the side.
“That’s strange, why am I feeling dizzy?”
“What a coincidence? Me too!”
“The last time I felt this sensation was when someone hit me on the head with a rod. I haven’t felt this for a long time.” The two of them started chatting and exchanging their thoughts.
Ren Baqian was speechless.

“This bunch of blockheads are unreliable.” He felt so infuriated by the both of them and could only rely on himself from now on.
“Should I go up and wait for help or go back into the car? By right, the people of the Messier 87 department should be behind us, right?”
It had already been a few minutes since the accident and the personnel of the Messier 87 department hadn’t shown up yet. Since these assailants dared to act, they had probably stalled the Messier 87 department.
At the thought of this, Ren Baqian immediately felt that it would be safer for him to return to the car.
He would be safe once the people of the Messier 87 department arrived.
Even though the dizzy spells hit him wave after wave, a lot of thoughts kept going through his mind.
Before he could even return to the car, his body couldn’t hold on any longer. He only managed to get half of his body in the car before he passed out. The two winged cavalry warriors had already passed out before he did.
Ren Baqian didn’t know that these tranquilizers could even put elephants to sleep for up to three hours.
Nobody had ever lasted for more than five seconds, and they would normally pass out after about three seconds.
He managed to withstand it for almost a minute.
A car arrived at the scene two minutes later, and three men jumped into the pit.
There were already about five cars that had stopped near the pit and were calling for help.
However, these three people didn’t seem to care. They were immediately astonished after seeing the situation in the pit, especially those seven people who lay limp on the ground with blood flowing from their mouths.
“What about them…?” One of them was a little hesitant.
They completely didn’t expect the situation to be like this when they rushed over.
“This is an important task. Our objective is more important,” another man said. “Take him away.”
“Go.”
The three men pulled Ren Baqian out of the car and up to the surface. They pushed him into their car and drove off.
The other five cars remained there and called the police. It wasn’t merely an accident anymore, it was now a case of kidnapping!
“No matter what, we have our target. As for the rest of them, we shall leave it to the higher ups to decide on how to retrieve them.” One of them heaved a sigh after they got in the car.
“Our mission isn’t complete yet, so we mustn’t lower our guard. We must first deliver him to the destination. They can’t stall the Messier 87 department for long, and the Chinese will come after us very soon.”
“Preparations are already complete. Turn right at the junction 600 meters ahead and there will be a car there. Switch cars once we enter the place. There are no surveillance cameras there, and we should be able to hold up some of their time. Hopefully, we will be able to delay them longer.” After he was done giving instructions, he continued to curse, “D*mn China! There are surveillance cameras everywhere!”
Soon after, he suddenly felt a sense of weightlessness. Before he could even react, he felt a violent collision.
The three men climbed out of their car in confusion and realized that they were in a pit!
“D*mn the roads in China! Aren’t they construction freaks? Why is the quality of their roads so poor? This is actually their most flourishing city! Yet, there are pits everywhere!” one of them cursed in rage.
This mission had practically driven them insane.
They fell into a pit while tailing their target, which changed their mission from tailing to kidnapping.
When they thought that they had to pay attention to the authorities after they abducted their target, the authorities didn’t come, but they fell into another pit instead!
Furthermore, it was a random pit that suddenly appeared.
“Governor, go and obstruct the cars. Gatling, help me pull this guy up.” One of them knitted his eyebrows and tried to get them out of this situation. Currently, their most important concern was still the authorities.
China’s wretched road quality was none of their concern anymore.
A while later, the three men dragged Ren Baqian into a stolen car.
“Thank you China for having people and cars everywhere,” rejoiced the sturdy man who was nicknamed Governor. “If we were in another country, we probably wouldn’t even be able to see a passing car after over 30 minutes.”
“Alright, even though we got into a small accident, the exit is right ahead—I can see it. Hopefully, things will go smoothly from now on.”
Before he finished his words, they felt that familiar sense of weightlessness again… As well as that familiar impact…
Badly injured, Gatling roared in anger, “I will never use anything from China again!”
It was still the familiar surroundings and still the same type of pit…
“It’s not too far away—carry him over!” the leader ordered.
The three men carried Ren Baqian and ran quickly toward the junction.
“Be careful!” Gatling suddenly shouted and jumped to the side while holding on to Ren Baqian.
They heard the sound of nearly blown out tires screeching against the ground. As a breeze swept across their faces, they also saw the flesh of an open wound.
An erratic van that was out of control drove past them and smashed the sturdiest man away.
