In the Sixty Thousand Mountains.
Several figures stood on top of a mountain and looked at a beast running below.
The eight meter tall gigantic creature was at the pinnacle of the Earth Wheel level, and it was on the upper end of the food chain in most places.
After all, Spirit Wheel level beasts were considered the overlords of the Sixty Thousand Mountains and were rare.
However, at this moment, the gigantic creature seemed to be frightened and trying to escape. It was as if it was being chased by something.
Compared to the gigantic creature, a small figure leaped through the air and landed on its back. At the same time, his right hand hammered down on it. The beast suddenly wailed and crashed to the ground as its limbs could no longer support its body. It slid along the ground for dozens of meters before coming to a halt.
Several figures then leaped off the mountain and appeared beside the beast in a flash.
A woman with a furry tail came forward to butcher the beast while the rest did their own things.
These figures were the foreigners that Ren Baqian had previously encountered.
There was Qiao Sen of the Heaven Seeker race who had cat-like whiskers and a round nose, Lei Huo (TLC. This was TL’ed as “Thunder Blaze” in previous chapters, so I’m not sure which version to use.) of the Thunder Barbarians who had a large build and two horns on his head, Gu Ling of the Ba Pi race who had four arms, Xun You of the Passion Fruit race who had a furry tail, Ta Lan of the Wind Chaser race who had twin hooves, Xu Heng of the Void race, and Liu Sheng of the Serpent race who had the body of a human and the tail of a snake.
Lei Huo stood on the beast’s carcass and looked around.
“Did you discover anything?” Qiao Sen asked.
“It is a little familiar. I have been here before! We shouldn’t be far from my village.” Lei Huo suddenly looked excited.
Nearly a century had passed, but apart from the memories of the last six months, they only had memories from a century ago. To them, however, these old memories seemed to be from just a year ago.
The four-armed Gu Ling was delighted. Since they were nearing the village of the Thunder Barbarian race, they shouldn’t be too far away from the Ba Pi race’s village.
“Congratulations to both of you.” Qiao Sen smiled.
“Thank you very much.” Both of them solemnly expressed their gratitude for him. If it wasn’t for him, there would be no telling how long it would take for them to locate their villages.
Afterward, they started a fire and barbequed meat. Everyone kept silent while Lei Huo and Gu Ling looked restless.
They were finally able to go home after 100 years.
The two were so set on speeding home that they couldn’t wait to leave.
At the same time, they felt a little apprehensive. They didn’t know what had changed over these last 100 years.
After they were done with the meal, Lei Huo stood up and said, “Dear all, I will make a move first. If we have a chance to meet again in the future, I’ll treat you guys to proper drinks.”
Everyone nodded and smiled.
Gu Ling also stood up and cupped her hands before turning to Lei Huo and saying, “If we ever meet again… Let’s fight to our last breath!”
The hatred between their two races was indelible.
“Up to you!” Lei Huo burst into hearty laughter.
The two ended their conversation and went their separate ways.
Although everyone had gotten closer after being on the road together for over eight months, they had merely gotten more familiar with each other and weren’t actually that close.
After all, these seven belonged to different races and were all experts. Those whom the herdsmen kept alongside for so long were all exceptionally talented. They were originally talented people in their villages as well. It was already pretty rare for them to travel together for such a long period, let alone warm up to each other.
After the two left, the remaining people felt even more pressed.
According to their estimates of distance, they shouldn’t be too far away from their homes.
Everyone looked at Qiao Sen as he picked up a tree branch and threw it into the air. When it landed on the ground, he pointed in one direction and said, “Let’s head this way.”
After Lei Huo walked across several mountains, the surrounding scenery became more and more familiar. His heart grew more urgent, and he felt as if something was about to jump out of it.
“Roar!” He yelled.
A while later, a voice came from the top of the mountain, “Who’s there?”
Lei Huo felt his chest beating intensely. He was too impatient to respond and leaped up the mountain immediately. However, he was welcomed with the whistling sound of weapons.
“Stop! It’s me!” Lei Huo shouted immediately.
A bone rod stopped right in front of him. Several men and women looked at him from a close distance, and they all looked puzzled.

“Who are you?”
There were only slightly more than 200 people in the Thunder Barbarian race, and it was impossible for them not to know everyone.
Lei Huo stared at one of them and asked, “Lei Lei?”
The person in front seemed familiar to him, but looked older than he remembered.
As for the others, he didn’t recognize any of them. They seemed to be from the new generation.
100 years was the lifespan of an ordinary human and was a long time for the Thunder Barbarians as well.
“Who are you?” a woman responded with a face that was full of doubt… Her upper body wasn’t clothed, and she was only wearing a leather skirt around her lower body.
“I’m Lei Huo! I’m back!” Lei Huo was exultant.
“Lei Huo?” Lei Lei mumbled his name. “Lei Huo?”
She couldn’t believe who she was seeing.
“That’s right! It’s me!”
“Where have you been all these years?” Her eyes were wide open as she looked at him carefully.
“Why did you suddenly leave 117 years ago?” Her expression turned hateful.
“117 years?” Lei Huo was stunned. He thought that it had only been slightly over 70 years and had not expected that so many years had passed.
For the members of the foreign races that had been captured, it seemed like they were captured at varying times.
A slight faintness appeared on his face as he said, “It’s hard to explain in a few words. I was captured. I’ll explain more when we reach the village.”
After a while, Lei Huo arrived at a village. Without waiting for the others, he rushed toward a certain direction inside the village.
The village was filled steeples, a type of building that the aboriginals didn’t understand at all. They were sparsely located in the village. In fact, the Thunder Barbarians didn’t feel threatened by fearsome beasts at all. This village was simply a settlement and didn’t even have walls.
He stopped in front of a house, the most familiar place in his memory.
However, when he rushed into the house, all he saw was the face of an unfamiliar youngster.
Lei Huo’s face immediately changed.
“Where’s Lei Duo?” he asked.
The young man stared blankly at him and asked, “Who’s Lei Duo?”
Lei Huo’s body turned sluggish for a moment, and his skin suddenly turned green as a malevolent look appeared on his face.
“I’m asking you where Lei Duo is!” he yelled.
“Lei Huo!” Lei Lei rushed into the house. “Your sister is dead. She died over 80 years ago!”
“What?” Lei Huo was so stupefied that it was as if he had been struck by lightning.
“She thought that you were killed by the Ba Pi race. In order to avenge you, she fought them many times… She eventually died in battle.” Lei Lei grew sad.
“What did you say?” Lei Huo was at a loss.
His expression seemed to freeze on his face, but his vigor rose and the blue color of his skin turned darker. An electric current even appeared on the surface of his skin.
“Calm down. We’ll talk after we see the elders!” Lei Lei replied, looking rather sad.
Back then, she was very close to Lei Huo and Lei Duo.
She was sad for quite some time after his disappearance. When Lei Duo died, she had also wanted to avenge her.
However, she was simply too weak. Or rather, that Gu Zhen was too strong.
Moreover, the most important thing at this moment was to calm Lei Huo down.
“Ba Pi race!” he roared. The electric current on his skin struck a wooden board near his feet, causing smoke to begin rising.
To others, Lei Duo was someone from more than 80 years ago, but to him, it seemed like he had only left for a year.
After returning to the village, he felt both surprised and sad. The pleasant surprise was that he actually unlocked the [Thunder Flow] skill, which meant that it might be possible for him to defeat Gu Zhen. Lei Huo was indeed the most talented among his race. If he had not left, they probably would not have been suppressed for so many years.
Sadly, he returned too late. The dead couldn’t be resurrected.
It wasn’t just Lei Duo who had died at the hands of Gu Zhen.
