The Entertainment Industry Waits For Our Divorce Chapter 54

The Twenty-eighth Day of Separation (2)

The process of the “Idol Games” was as formal as the Olympic games. Liang Yan just sat down for two minutes, and a reporter had already approached her with a microphone to ask for an interview.

The reporter asked the same question as Jiang Mu.

Liang Yan gave a brief answer to the camera.

The barrage of comments was full of rainbow farts.

[Almighty Yan Yan!]

[My Yan Yan can do anything!]

[It’s really hard to practice strength-based sports for girls especially when they’re young, right? It wasn’t easy for Liang Yan.]

[Handsome, Langya will come watch you live tomorrow!]

[I can’t get the image of her lifting weights when she was a child out of my head. She was so damn cute. I even use it as my WeChat avatar. Hahahah.]

[What should we do? Liang Yan lost by three meters. Can she win tomorrow?]

[Jiang Juan is twice Liang Yan’s size. Liang Yan is already very great.]

The reporter smiled and said, “I really didn’t expect you to give us such a big surprise today. It turns out that discus throwing is also a type of sport where strength and beauty coexist.”

Liang Yan smiled. “Thank you.”

After the short interview, the reporter was ready to leave. Liang Yan looked at the ground and  suddenly thought of something. She raised her head and called the reporter, “Please wait a moment!”

The reporter turned back and asked, “Is there something wrong, Liang Yan?”

Liang Yan breathed deeply and glanced at the camera in the hands of the photographer next to them. “I have something to say, is it okay?”

The reporter grew still for a moment and then agreed easily, “Sure!”

Liang Yan seemed to be prepared, and her expression in front of the camera turned solemn. “I’m really honored to introduce discus throwing sports to everyone this time through me and this event. But I want to ask everyone here, please don’t be prejudiced against other sports. All of them are equal.”

“Some sports may look aesthetic, and some are very exciting. When you compare discus throwing and weightlifting to them, they’re not as elegant or classy, but I would like to say,” Liang Yan took a deep breath, “all athletes pour tremendous effort into the sports they love behind the scenes. They might not be famous stars or swimming champions with countless fans, and they don’t even have huge incomes, but they trained day and night in places we can’t see or don’t pay attention to. And some may even suffer injuries or fall behind. But no matter what event or sports they do, the meaning of their hard work is the same. They’re all respectable and excellent athletes. These athletes fight for honor for our country on the field.”

The reporter froze even after Liang Yan finished her speech.

She let out a sigh of relief after she said what was in her heart.

Although Liang Yan left the sports school years ago, she still couldn’t forget the days she spent there. The slogan, “Win Glory for the Country,” was posted on the wall. Everyone trained day and night, exerting all their strength with perseverance, but most of them were still sad at the end.

The beauty of sports were only for some people to enjoy, and most athletes end up with injuries.

After she finished her speech, the comment section remained empty.

Then, after a few moments, there were outbursts of comments like a flood.

[Liang Yan said it so well!]

[Yes, why are sports divided into high and low levels? Don’t they all win glory for the country?]

[The men’s soccer team was defeated!]

[Ohhh! My Liang Yan came from a sports school!]

[Liang Yingjun’s values are super positive]

[See, this is the woman! Her name’s Liang Yan, I love her, I love her so much!]

......

Even though the event was “Idol Games”, Liang Yan’s speech was so thought-provoking that the program team had to immediately edit it and post it on Weibo. The likes rose rapidly until they reached the ears of the Sports Bureau of B City. Her speech resonated with countless athletes in the sports industry. The official Weibo of the Sports Bureau reposted it and announced that they would organize some athletes to watch the games tomorrow.

At night, the two words “Liang Yan” topped the hot search.

However, Liang Yan didn’t have the leisure to think about this hot search. What she was thinking about was tomorrow’s game. As a woman with strong sportsmanship and desire to win, she still wanted to be the champion despite the overwhelming difference between her strength and body shape and Jiang Juan’s.

Liang Yan wanted to fight for Langya.

She fell asleep in a daze.

......

Early the next morning, Liang Yan came to the discus field, a bit nervous.

She looked outside, and realized that there seemed to be more people in the spectator stands.

There was a group of people gathered together, and it was obviously a fan group. There were more male fans than female fans, holding a green light board in their hands with the word “Liang Yan” on it.

Liang Yan was pleasantly surprised to find that this group was her fans.

The Langya fan group really came!

There was also another group of people beside Langya….

Liang Yan noticed that these people were wearing the same uniform and in the same sitting position. They were all boys in their teens and twenties.

Jiang Mu told her yesterday that the Sports Bureau announced that they were going to organize some athletes to watch the games. Was it them?

Liang Yan slowly entered the field, and tentatively waved to the stands.

When the fans in the stand saw Liang Yan entering, someone blew a whistle. Then the whole stadium resounded with  strong, deafening cheers that were almost about to lift the roof of the stadium.

“Go Liang Yan, go Liang Yan! Liang Yan is the best! Liang Yan is the best! Liang Yan takes first place!”

......

The rest of the participating idols were all shocked.

Most of the screams and cheers in the fan circle came from female fans who chased stars. There were very few male fans who follow stars, even for idol groups like Star Girls.

But now, a large group of male fans, along with a large group of male athletes were here to watch the game.

Could this be the legendary…
