The Entertainment Industry Waits For Our Divorce Chapter 65

Thirty-fourth day: To Divorce or Not to Divorce (2)

Liang Yan felt the old man’s loneliness as soon as he opened the door. Liang Yan smiled and greeted, “Hello, grandpa. We’re here to clean your house today.”

Zhao Yu added, “Hello, grandpa.”

“Good, good…” the grandpa nodded. The program crew already came here to inform the old man that someone would come and clean his house, so he waited. “Thank you, come in quickly.”

Liang Yan squeezed Luo Luo’s little hand as she said, “Luo Luo, greet grandpa.”

Luo Luo bit her finger, a bit scared of the grandfather. But since Liang Yan encouraged her, she yelled tenderly, “Hello, grandpa!”

The grandfather had already turned around, but when he heard Luo Luo’s voice, he turned back and looked  down. He finally noticed that Liang Yan and Zhao Yu had little children with them.

Zai Zai stepped forward and followed suit, “Hello, grandpa.”

The old man was stunned for a few moments.

Luo Luo thought that the grandfather didn’t hear her, so she let go of Liang Yan’s hand courageously and walked forward. The little girl pulled a finger of grandpa that she could reach and said, “Hello, grandpa!”

In the live video, the grandfather’s eyes became red-rimmed upon hearing the two “Hello, grandpa.”

Then, the camera panned on Luo Luo’s hand holding onto the old man’s fingers.

An immature, small hand held onto the old man’s fingers.

This scene touched the audiences.

[Oh, I haven’t seen my grandfather in a long time.]

[Luo Luo is simply a little angel.]

[The old man must be lonely, his eyes are red. It seems he hasn’t seen his grandson for a long time now.]

[Luo Luo was taught by Liang Yan. She must be really good at raising children.]

Liang Yan and Zhao Yu glanced at each other, then they executed their tasks of the day. Luo Luo and Zai Zai were responsible for accompanying the old man the whole day.

The grandfather almost took out all the food at his home for the two children to eat while he watched. Luo Luo stared at the fruit the old man brought out and asked him, “Grandpa, can I give one to my aunt Liang Yan?”

The old man remembered the two adults cleaning the house and just realized that he forgot them. He hurriedly nodded and said, “Yes.”

Luo Luo grabbed the biggest apple and handed it over to Liang Yan who was cleaning the glass. “Auntie Liang Yan, this is for you.”

Liang Yan was moved.

[Luo Luo is so nice.]

[Luo Luo cried when they first met, and I even thought that she’s going to be  a problematic child. But it turns out that she’s well-behaved.]

[As long as Luo Luo doesn’t have a crying fit, she’s a little angel. Hahaha…]

[Don’t be afraid if she cries. Let’s go to Lu Lincheng!]

Liang Yan received the apple, and Luo Luo wanted to help her clean the glass again.

How could Liang Yan let Luo Luo clean the glass? She planted a kiss on her delicate cheek and said, “Auntie Liang Yan doesn’t need Luo Luo’s help. Grandpa likes Luo Luo, so can you go stay with grandpa?”

Luo Luo nodded. “Yes~”

In the end, Liang Yan and Zhao Yu finished their task of cleaning the elderly man’s home. As they leave, it was a large-scale heart abuse scene when they had to go home with Luo Luo and Zai Zai. They had only spent a few hours with the old man, yet he was already wiping his tears at the time of their departure. Luo Luo wiped the old man’s tears with the back of her hand.

Reluctantly, Luo Luo waved her hand to say goodbye to grandpa. “Goodbye, grandpa… Stay at home, be good. Luo Luo will come see you if I don’t need to go to kindergarten, okay?”

Grandpa nodded and said, “Goodbye, Luo Luo. Be obedient. Grandpa misses Luo Luo so much.”

A few in the audience were already crying.

[I’ll be going back to my hometown this weekend to visit my grandfather…. Ohhhohhhh…]

[Grandpa’s children will come back to visit him if they watch this episode too.]

[The task today is very meaningful, and the program team has really worked hard.]

[It would be so nice if there are more programs like this that spread positive energy.]

[Luo Luo is really good.]

In the car as they head to their next task, another old man’s home, Liang Yan hugged the crying Luo Luo. Then, she took the initiative to show the child Lu Lincheng’s picture on her phone.

The child was so sensible that she refrained from “quitting” Lu Lincheng this time.

Luo Luo mumbled while keeping the phone close to her chest, “Brother Lu…”

The second elderly man they visited had a wife. The grandfather was more than eighty years old, and the grandmother more than seventy. They had a son who was a member of the police, but unfortunately, he passed away ten years ago while on a mission, leaving the old parents. They had been living in their home for years and made a promise that whoever passed away first, the remaining person would go to the nursing home.

Once again, Luo Luo acted as a healing angel. She sang and danced in front of the old couple, her childish voice was cute and warm.

Even Zai Zai, who stayed cool and didn’t like to talk to strangers, followed Luo Luo’s influence and performed a model walk for the two people.

The four of them visited and cleaned three houses of elderly.

Liang Yan and Zhao Yu were almost sapped of strength and were paralyzed when they returned to the villa.
