With Raven's skilled help, Mana was ready well in advance. In fact, the intricate hairstyle that Raven had perfectly executed on Mana's long hair was rather appealing and it made Mana look even more charming than ever before. Of course, the dexterity and patience required for this elaborate hairstyle was not something that Mana thought she would ever be capable of (or even willing to) pull off – but it really did look rather good and it made her look rather pretty. With thirty four pins and nineteen clips, though, even if it was really, really pretty, Mana wouldn't want to do this every day.

"You look absolutely lovely," Raven said with a proud smile. "This hairstyle really suits you very much, you now."

Mana grinned at him. "It's all thanks to you," she said. "I wonder where you learnt this hairstyle, though?"

Raven flushed. "I – I read about it in a book once," he murmured. He was too embarrassed to confess that it was a romantic novel about a king and a poor girl, and the king had fallen in love with the poor girl at first sight when he saw her beautiful face, and he used to court this poor girl by pretending to be a hair dresser and he would use this elaborate hairstyle to do up her hair every day until she was touched by his dedication and agreed to marry him. And this hairstyle had come to be known as the 'kiss of the loving king' – and was quite popular in the Obsidian Kingdom among couples – the only thing was that there were very few people who could actually manage to execute such an elaborate hairstyle properly, so these hair dressers had actually formed a cartel and offered their services at a high price to whoever wanted to buy this exquisite hairstyle for their fiancée or wife or the girl they were trying to woo (and in some cases, even long haired men were in on it as lucky recipients). Raven had seen his Father Aqi hire these hair dressing experts to do up Crown Princess Pica's hair – and although Raven was a small baby of two years at the time, with his photographic memory and well developed intelligence, he had been able recall the procedure without too much effort when Mana had been concerned about her hair earlier in the day. And he wanted to do this for Mana, even though she didn't know the context or the importance of this hairstyle in the Obsidian Kingdom!

However, even without all this background information, Mana was very happy with Raven's work and rewarded him with a kiss on the check for all his painstaking efforts.

"This is really nice," she praised. "I may trouble you in the future to help me with my hair like this on special occasions," she warned the boy.

Raven's heart skipped in joy – he would happily help Mana with this hairstyle every single day forever, he thought, let alone only special occasions. And when they were in the Obsidian Kingdom, he decided that he would make sure that he did Mana's hair up in this elaborate hairstyle every day so that everyone who saw her would know how much she mattered to Raven and how much he cherished her!

Mana, who was completely unaware of Raven's plans with her hair in the near future, examined herself critically in the mirror, and then turned to examine Raven. The boy really looked good, even at this young age, she thought. She could easily imagine what an earth shattering beauty he would be when he grew a bit older!

Raven's brooch was slightly askew, and Mana immediately moved closer to him to fix it with her own hands. Once she was done, she examined Raven from head to toe in an appraising manner, not hiding the admiration and appreciation in her eyes.

"You really are the most beautiful person I have ever seen," Mana murmured. "There must be so many people dying of jealously because I got to you first!"

Raven flushed. "Who cares about other people," he murmured with a slight pout.

Mana laughed happily and hooked her arm into his. "Then, my beautiful prince, shall we go and dazzle the world?" she asked with a smug grin. "Other than Big Brother Jules and Big Sister Bella, there is no one that can be more elegant or better looking as a couple than the two of us!" she bragged cheerfully.

Raven chuckled, but didn't deny it. Mana's sparkling eyes in the exquisite shade of emerald green that proclaimed her identity as the royal of the Emerald Kingdom, with the unusual but equally attractive specks of amber and silver that were a testament to her extraordinary magical prowess – Raven felt that this was no less than the most beautiful and most expensive and most exquisite gem stones in the world – and perhaps even their little dragon baby Azar would agree with it, in spite of his obsession with all sorts of shiny things, especially gold and gem stones!

"Let's go," Raven said, his smile turning indulgent at the sight of his young fiancée clinging to his arm.

And thus, Mana and Raven went off to find their Big Brother Jules and Big Sister Bella, and their two little dragon babies Azar and Alya. After all, they were going to make a dramatic entrance today at the banquet – and they had no doubt that little Alya would be the one to steal the show this evening!

King Jaren, Queen Carolina, Jules, Bella, Azar and Alya – all of them had just finished getting ready and had already assembled in the small room just outside of the main banquet hall, waiting for Mana and Raven to come in. All of them had to coordinate their entrance since the two little dragons wouldn't leave their beloved Grandpapa's side, and Queen Carolina was really reluctant to part with the two little ones. So they had decided that they would enter together, and then Queen Carolina would make the announcement to introduce Alya to the world. Just thinking about her announcement and the envious reactions of the people in the hall was enough to make Queen Carolina smile happily.

Mana had Raven reached the small room where their arrival was eagerly awaited. They still had a few minutes before they needed to enter the hall, though, so neither of the two children were in a hurry. They walked in a leisurely and elegant manner, and all eyes were drawn to the two children as they walked past the other people in the long corridor.

"Princess Mana of the Emerald Kingdom and Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom are also a very good looking couple, aren't they?" someone commented.

"Yes, they really are," someone else replied. "In fact, they are still so young now but still manage to look so good!"

"How old are Princess Mana of the Emerald Kingdom and Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom?" a third person asked.

"I think Princess Mana of the Emerald Kingdom is only ten years old and Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom is only twelve years old," yet another person said. "To think that they have such talent and such grace and such elegance even at such a young age!"

"Really? Are you sure that they are so young? Aren't they already studying at IMARI?" someone else asked.

Several pitying glances were shot at the last speaker.

"Have you been living under a rock? Don't you know that Princess Mana of the Emerald Kingdom and Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom are certified geniuses? If not for them, we would never have seen the development of the communication devices at all!" someone informed the former speak in a lofty voice. "Also, hasn't Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom been known for his intelligence for several years now? He was very reclusive until he met Princess Mana of the Emerald Kingdom and they got engaged – but do you remember that intellectual discussion conference several years ago where a little kid defeated every single scholar from all the five kingdoms?"

"Don't tell me – was that Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom?!" several voices exclaimed at the same time.

"You guys are really ignorant," someone else said. "Everyone in the five kingdoms knows by now how amazingly talented Princess Mana of the Emerald Kingdom and Prince Raven of the Obsidian Kingdom are!"

Mana and Raven heard snippets of these conversations as they walked to their destination.

When Mana and Raven were about to enter the small room, they ran into General Aquila, Crown Princess Pica, King Corvus, Prince Rook, Princess Enca and Prince Dawe.

Mana and Raven greeted them politely.

Crown Princess Pica stared at Mana's hair in shock. "Mana – your hair…" she murmured.

Mana smiled and patted Raven's arm. She looked up at her mother in law and announced proudly, "Raven did it up for me. Isn't it really pretty?"

Crown Princess Pica was stunned.. "Isn't that – isn't that the kiss of the loving king?!" she exclaimed.
